  1. @efaardvark I really hope you can make some small changes here and there to better take care of yourself and your needs (aside from money).. that's an obvious need. maybe find some way to recharge so you're not zapped all the time. Pick up a new hobby that keeps you active, because as strange as it sounds, the more active you are the more energy you have.
  2. Granted, but it was also like Sword Art Online. I wish I had the super power of flight
  3. What are some of the best board games you've played, miss playing or play all the time? For a while I'd play Settlers of Catan every night. Been hard to play lately with my toddler around! But we still play occasionally. As far as group game nights go, I've found Codenames to be extremely funny. Some of your faves?
  4. I should! What dreams may come has 2 of my fav actors. There was this new Swedish horror movie called "The Ritual" that was pretty blare witch esque
  5. I used to LOVE the Ginger snaps movies! Have you watched "The girl with the dragon tattoo"? I can't watch horror anymore, but fam those movies were lit
  6. Your work situation sounds just like my husband.. I'm always trying to get him to make new friends, it's just hard when you work all week and want to get things done at home on the weekends, it really doesn't leave much time for most working people to make friends outside of work. I try to get my friends with hubbies to have outings together.. so far we have a few game nights, so connecting is a possibility for him, but keeping up relationships Is a lot of work for anyone. Even myself, though I'm a stay at home mom, I find it hard to always be social, I'm more of a homebody. I love the feeling of coming on in front home after a long day out. So if I'm having an busy week, I'm less likely to want to see friends. I came by my circle of friends pretty fortunately by connections with family. My sister in laws old best friend became a close friend of mine once I became a SAHM, due to her generosity and experience. Then my circle widened with other moms in the area. My other close friend is my sisters boyfriends sister, and we met and just hit it off due to common interests when we threw my sister a baby shower The hardest thing for me is to keep friends, life changes tend to move me away from friends all the time, so I think of friends as changing with the seasons of life. We need funfriends when we are small, someone to stand by us when we are Learning and growing, and people to laugh with us and bring joy when we are on our own. One or two friends can't be all of the things that we need, so hopefully as life goes on we can make many.
  7. Woah woah woah, arent shield hero and My hero academia getting further seasons!!!???
  8. Samurai X movies are usually my go to for new fans.
  9. @leyley don't you think Sakura was a string og character? Also there were many other strong female fighters in Naruto throughout the series. Though since Naruto and several other anime you mentioned were geared towards the male gender being Shounen anime, the main character just makes sense to be male. Other anime with strong female characters: Inuyasha had Kagome, Kikyo and Sango; all strong in their own way. I watch a lot of Shounen, it's my fav sub-genre. So maybe I don't have that many others to recommend But they do exist. My pet peve is a lot like @Illusion of Terra I don't like the way fan service cheapens the anime.
  10. Claymore! Though they butchered the "ending" so it's not congruent with the manga.. so they'd have some fixing to do.
  11. Camping with friends at a nearby national park, or beach? Get a group of your friends together for a memorable weekend camp out!
  12. Your value doesn't decrease based on someone's inability to see your worth. I love this, but what if coffee just prepares you for the bitterness of the world? I take my cream and sugar with a side of coffee ️ And @leinwandname I loved reading Voltaire and Rousseau on the Lisbon disaster.
  13. @HanaApril @ArchieKun I'm glad you guys are having a good day! Im trying to muster up the excitement required to clean my cluttered kitchen mess. When the house is too cluttered it gets overwhelming I know I'm having a good day emotionally, but physically and mentally drained atm. Finally cleaned my kitchen, thank God, now I can cook again
  14. @ArchieKun I think if you watched episode 6 you'd like the show a bit more, up until then it was a bit less serious. It tends to meander off the main plot line a bit every few episodes and gets a little silly, but every few episodes it goes back on to the plot and peaks my interest again.
  15. I just checked Amazon, they have them.. but you need to read reviews as always.. might get them in tact, might get them damaged.. so, I'd rather buy in store myself, but if you can't help it, ordering from there isnt aweful.
  16. Planning my brothers wedding 😁

    1. Tefutakato

      Tefutakato

      Congrats to your brother!

  17. I've never even heard of Sierra Mist having flavors! That sounds awesome.
  18. This episode made me start reading the manga because I'm tired of waiting for a week to finish a plot line Now I can't discuss the weekly with you for fear of spoiling things. Y'all enjoy
  19. Yes, but in order to gauge the true accuracy of our communities interests, it has to be evenly voted upon by each individual.. the only way to do that is to request that everyone only selects the same number in each category. I'm afraid that wouldn't be the case if I opened it up to multiple choice, so setting it at 1 per individual is the most realistic for this purpose.
  20. You're right, it looks like you simply made a typo. I'm glad you didn't write something like that intentionally. And I'm sorry for continuing derailing this post. Supposedly, although since we are on topic of the question of morality, it's not really off topic, just hijacked from the creator perhaps. @SanguineTear On the topic of morality; everyone has the right to change their ways, not simply be put to death, otherwise the death penalty would be the only choice rather than imprisonment. Doesn't that seem to follow that logic?
  21. Funny that you mention there being culture around it. It's true, and the worst are gamers and kids. It's led to a bit of an obesity epidemic in our youth, but in the last ten years people have taken notice and started to make better beverage choices overall. There's a Mexican drink we have privy to here that's apple flavor, it's pretty good. Too sweet for my taste, ironically because I'm sure Coke products are the worst.
  22. Anyone remember when they released three flavors of mtn dew for us to vote on? I really liked Supernova, but alas, Voltage won.
  23. But Nono, you say you'd shoot to kill, but make them hate living? That's a contradiction. Shooting to injure is a kindness. At least they can live on to make better choices in the future. There are plenty of ways to give someone a recoverable flesh wound and still stop them from attacking you.
  24. Yea, they aren't healthy of course.. pretty much the exact opposite.. especially if consumed regularly like many Americans tend to do. I have never been a "regular" soda drinker, I just have them on occasion, and I really prefer Ramune strawberry, or strawberry Aloe drinks for Ann occasional treat.
