I have Cox. Speed is fairly good, but Internet is flaky, and blocks some ports necessary for running a server. Right now, it makes me wish I was my own ISP.

Hey! This is a thread from the future [Introduction]

You're welcome. We had another Steins Gate fan, more so the VN than the anime, but because of issues, they are not here now, though I hope he returns some day. I kind of liked the Steins Gate anime too. -
Yeah, the hype for a series or movie does kind of kill things. It certainly led to my disatisfication of Attack on Titan, along with things were not great about it. I also hate when things are not emphasized as strongly as they need to be, even though I do understand the need to cut things out, but the people that do handle the adaptation do not always seem to know what should and should not be cut out, but I am glad you found the film enjoyable. If you get the chance, I would suggest checking out the manga, but that is up to you.

Welcome to the community, Time Traveller. May I ask how you found the wormhole to get back here? I hope you like here, as everyone is fairly nice. -
That's what makes you so fun. Let's see. What would you do if you found yourself in tournament where you could win tons of money, but to obtain victory you had to put many people into billions of dollars in debt and your two biggest knew how to manipulate people via either ruling over their allies in style similar to Nazi Germany or they had members of their cult aiding them?

Your sense of humor is still the same thought isn't it?

I think we have a thread for this already. https://animeforums.net/community/threads/has-watching-an-anime-ever-changed-your-life.3940/ It is nice that you want to get in on the action though.

Got the problematic stuff out of the way, and finally got three more volumes of Spice & Wolf. Too bad I cannot afford the other seven yet.
-
Depends, you might enjoy the movie, but I never saw it, so I cannot say for sure.

Today is not going to be the best for more than one reason. Why do people not realize that I have things scheduled?
-
Do you publish your schedule? If not, then there's your answer. To prevent similar issues, I actually publish a calendar on Google calendar that shows everything that I'm doing and the time that it's happening at. You can even create calendars for specific groups of people and give them access permissions.
-
Probably a good idea, but also a security risk, nor do I know how to make things public (I mainly use a Google account I pay for and trying to get it something publicly available was not as easy as I hoped). My schedule is not always that consistent anyway, not to mention the reasons today do not really care about my schedule (doctor and common trait in family).

welcome, shrinkage. I hope you enjoy your time here, as everyone is very friendly.

Nobody really influenced me to change or anything, friend or otherwise? Things that have changed my views on things, or made me more enlightened, was great stories and such, but that is about the extent. Of course, it can be somewhat possible, since we actually have mind control techniques that can make people change their views gradually, but even then, the person is already weakened by something.

I would say hide the preview text. Images will not do much, at least if the subs are not present, but that is all I can say, since there are not really any shows I follow talked about in there.

I would find out what T-Rex like to eat, then lure it into your vicinity. Afterwards, I would wait for you to come outside, trip the T-Rex, which ends up crushing you. Next item: rogue wave
-
Not really. There are many visual novels are just reading and/or making choices through the menu, but results come up as labeling it an RPG. Text adventures do seem to be the ancestors of them though.

My Mycroft would be my brother and my Watson would Yokomizo from Link's Detective Conan abridged, as it nice to have an assistant who accuses everyone of lying.

That's pretty much how a lot of anime adaptations are, especially with the tired trend of 12-13 episode shows, not that it makes it any better. What were some of things that were omitted? UPDATE: I went searching around, and for anyone wondering the same thing I did, this video should explain what I was asking about, as the person in the video has seen the movie and read the manga. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mAMQxBeMU4s

My favorite book is Sacrifices by Weston Kincade. The A Life Death trilogy has been around since the author started writing, but the second title did not live up to the quality of the first one, and it really disappointed me. Fortunately, Sacrifices, the last book in the trilogy, felt like a true sequel to the first book, especially because I could tell that it was passing the baton to the next generation, whereas the first book was a coming-of-age story.

I take it that you read the manga? I have not seen this movie, but the original manga was pretty good.

kind of a weird day. Guess I better get out of here, before things go as expected.
-
kind of surprising day, but pretty relaxing.

My Surface book has an SSD, and I do not really care too much about it. The technology is nice, but not really that different, other than no moving parts and looks like a module that you insert in a slot.
