I have and its really strange. The story's good but it just feel like some fanfic that got turned into an anime. I perfer the movie and graphic novels better I already have Yotsuba volumes 1-3! Its really funny but I have to reread them because its been a while since I last read them. I also have to watch School Rumble since I haven't.

I haven’t yet but plan to soon. I saw Azumanga Daioh listed as one of your favorites. It will always be the first anime to come to mind when someone mentions the SoL genre. Also School Rumble & Yuru (Laidback)Camp. Maybe try the manga Yotsuba, because it’s by the same mangaka as Azumanga Daioh.

Hmm, how do I go about this... Greetings, Ladies and Gentlemen! How are you holding up? I hope all of you are being alright. For as long as I can remember, I've had always been bluffing...and I don't think I have ever done my best in anything. I reflected, and saw how I neglected, deflected, defected and rejected. I always spoke of how I wanna make a great comic book series, a 2D RPG, a lot of well written and composed songs, becoming a great chess player, build a shred physique, do more horticulturist activities, and learn and write epic fantasy and science fiction. But I was only bluffing. It never appeared that I had been really serious, that I know. In fact, I don't think my intellect has grown past the arithmetic and learningness capacity of 11 to 13 years old. I'm now an adult. And I'm trying my best to become and achieve the best version of me. I am facing a lot of hurdles and having difficulties. But. I don't wanna back down anymore. I don't wanna bluff anymore. I don't wanna procrastinate, I wanna disengage from pornography, and I don't wanna do crook-driven piracy, no, no more these three. I wanna grow so hard and so sure that I want to be surprised of myself. Therefore, I need your help. Please suggest me anime and/or manga that would help me resetting my psyche. Roleplaying Video games would be good too. Thanks for reading, please gimme summore advice. PW actually has a mobile game, forgot about that somewhat, that looks a little more anime-ish. The main game though has things like Chinese lanterns everywhere and Lunar new year decorations and events, stuff like that. It gives off a very China-town kinda vibe in most of the cities and I think it's really pretty. But yeah, you can customize literally every inch of the character from the size of forehead to like, the leg length I usually like playing melee-based character too because I don't like to think I just like to charge in and tank something lmao but I like the pet aspect of veno's.

I has say Fullmetal Alchemist Boxset been nice set of manga and anime.

PW is more like WOW or something more than an anime-style game. It's a Chinese game originally and most of the settings like temples and things in it have a very distinct Chinese look to it, not really anime. Most of the phone games and stuff though do have an anime look to them. But yeah, one of the main reasons I like PW is all the customizations, you can sit there and spend hours just customizing one character lol. I like playing Veno's but they are squishy like most magic users. The power of a veno is in the pets they are able to summon/use. If a veno gets whacked by something like a Barbarian or type of tank character it isn't going to last very long. That being said, with the pet you have 2 ways of attacking the other person and you can use melee based pets that can tank, so they become somewhat annoying to try to take out lol ~

Yeah that's the way they used to have those disks, you would have to buy so many lol ~ I remember doing that for Naruto too. There's actually only 1 place I know of that sells anime DVD's over the counter around here which is a store called FYE that always has a bunch of anime stuff. They sell box sets in there but they will be like USD $200-ish. I only buy box sets now that I want on like a shelf as display because it's a favorite because it's really a lot of money to spend considering you can just watch it all online for about $10 bucks a month

The original Cardcaptor Sakura DVD release was 4 episodes per disk, that's 18 disks!! The re-mastered Blu-ray edition comes in two box sets each with 5 disks, together they cost about £80, but thats a HUGE amount less than my original DVDs. All bought mail order of course, the Blu-rays because there's no video shops left where I live, the CCS DVDs had to be bought mail order because Region 1 DVDs can't be sold over the counter in the UK. Since subscribing to Crunchyroll I think I've only bought a couple of Anime disks, and currently the only one I have on my 'to buy' list is Suzume, but it's not out yet.

I’m the original poster, I asked this question because I really was disgusted by a lot of anime/ more but more so manga and hentai anime depicting children in sexual scenarios. I think for me I can know it’s not really children, it’s not real fotos, but I often wonder if people who draw porn of small children in their manga, are they using real child porn as references, I don’t know,l??? will they ever admit to it? Idk do I think all use references of chile porn? no, do I think all mangakas who draw lolis are pedophiles, no. But im sure some are and it’s always itching at the back of my head if I’m seeing art inspired by child porn. It’s hard to avoid it, you Google an anime you like and loli art pops up, suggestions, I think for me my heart gets heavy everytime I think of is this based off a real child? Did they trace over a real child. Child porn in Japan wasn’t illegal till 1999 and illegal to own until 2014. You could go to a store and buy it in the shady section. I know not everyone who like lolis are pedos, but I know some are and considering how lax publishers are with publishing anyone’s work it’s disturbing I think people who make this type of art should be investigated and made sure they aren’t doing anything nefarious. If I could have it my way i wouldn’t ban it causing banning things makes things worse; at least at first I’d make the public image of loli unpalatable by exposing all the disgusting things it portrays and basically sometimes you need to shame people foe why they like. And then once it’s let’s “normal” to the public I’d ban it. In a perfect world. Basically I think background checks should be done for people who draw this type of pornography. Sexualization of children, even in manga should be taken more seriously. For me, maybe I’ve become more sensitive to it but even if I’m watching an anime I like that is relatively free of anything sexual or weird it’s always at the back of my head that I’m participating. I like anime and manga, I search it up and BAM, suggestion “I’m not a lolicon trending manga is being suggested, and so many things where i feel ill explode. Do you at least understand what I’m trying to say or convey? Can you understand why I’m disturbed, as a woman who was once a young girl as well it’s just I feel disrespected in away, exploited? I love to draw and I love animation and anime has done so many great things but I just often wonder peoples true intentions when they draw things. Even anime that’s pretty normal if they have a weird shot of a young girls legs for too long, I’m like why? Is the animator a pedo? Is it just to pander to loliicons? I can’t ever know who is a pedo and how is a lolicon. Some like cartoons others real children. Sometimes they overlap and because I have to see it when I searching up anime or cute anime girl. I saw that vice vidoe where they talk about manga and it’s underage porn problem. Some guy who publishes manga, he has a job and he said “ I draw this manga based off real sex crimes against children in Japan, not my own experiences. And I was like OH UM THATS STILL DISGUSTING SIR. Go to jail and for. Who would do that?? Draw sex crimes. He admitted this on camera. He also admitted he was a pedofile and this helps to keep him from committing. Bullshit my ass he does it because he is either A. Is committing or B. Scared to commit cause he’ll get caught. The manga you draw just fuels it. You admitted to drawing about REAL CASES. If you disagree please tell me why? I genuinely want to know. How can you disassociate the two. How are you ok with seeing it. Even if you don’t enjoy it. I see it and immediately want to vomit. I used to not be so sensitive I don’t know why I am now, am I just becoming more aware of how damaging it is to me? And society idk. Lastly wanted to add when I say loli I mean in the sense of child being drawn in sexually suggestive manner or blatant pornography. Boy or girl. Seeing a girl or boy who looks 10 with their ass out is not something we need to see, it’s not funny or adds to the plot, it’s just weird. People who like lolis cause they’re cute and not sexualized, that’s different. I like cute characters too, it’s the sexualizing. Why do I need to see her vagina indent in her panty shot?? It’s happened too many times. It’s just too acceptable, people who like this stuff will still exist I just wish it was harder to find and more obscure, if it has to exist.

Tbf, spending all that money on anime DVD's and box sets gets expensive fast and makes it hard to watch it that way because you have to drop $100 bucks on a box set usually. All the older anime box sets seems to be even more expensive too.

I still enjoy some newer anime or still running anime such as Demon Slayer, Mob Psycho and Made in Abyss, but I get what you're saying. I still enjoy watching anime but it's harder for me to find an anime I enjoy as much. I kind of attributed that to the fact that there are so many to choose from now that it's harder to find one.

Who is your favorite mad scientist in anime and why?

I kinda feel that way too. I don't watch as much anime as I did when I was a teenager anymore, and what I do watch is usually stuff I've already watched and want to rewatch. I do find some new stuff I like here and there but not the way I used to. Most of the stuff that I find I like is stuff that came out in the 90s or early 2000s times.

I don't watch an awful lot of adaptation stuff, and my list is always small at most I'm watching maybe 1 to 3 anime at any given time. So I just try and pick a few things from either the past or upcoming which I vibe with an add them to my plan to watch. Right now, Fate/Strange Fake, Witch on the Holy Night, the new Madoka Movie and I need to get around to watching the Psycho Pass Providence film. One issue I have been having is a few long running series I liked such as Yamato or Legend of the Galactic Heroes remake have seemingly ended dubbing for there runs - which sucks as the 'dub' is what I started watching with those.
