Watched Princess Mononoke today.

I heard a rumour that said Disney licenced that film believing it was a children's story about a cute little princess called Mononoke. I don't know if that was true or not, but if it was then Disney got a bit of a surprise.

The last movie I watched was I Want To Eat Your Pancreas, a beautiful story, but the ending broke my heart.

I hadn't heard that so had no idea lol ~ That is the opposite of what it was XD I really liked it though and plan to watch Spirited Away this weekend.

Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire

I can't remember if I mentioned this already or not, but I heard about it a while ago now. The pink color of Godzilla's new energy was inspired by Goku's Kaioken form in Dragon Ball Z. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post a link on AF or not, but if you type in "pink Godzilla kaioken inspiration new empire" in a search engine you'll find information regarding it. I don't know if anyone's mentioned it before or not, I don't even remember if I've said it yet or not.

I love these movies and I didn't know this. It's very interesting and cool to learn two of my favorite things are connected. Now I feel I want to rewatch this knowing that and have a new appreciation for it.

Even mom and I rewatched it after buying it again on PPV. lol I haven't told her about the DBZ inspiration for Godzilla's pink energy, but I don't think she'd get it like we do is the reason I haven't said it to her. I think she's ok not knowing because I tell her some things, but sometimes it feels like she doesn't know how much what I'm talking about means to me like DBZ does. It was pretty sweet that King Kong tried to punch some sense into Godzilla though. lol I thought that was funny. Even though I think Godzilla overreacted when King Kong was dragging him by the tail toward the portal to where Skar King was. The big guy definitely got more volatile with that energy upgrade, that's for sure. o.o But omg it looked like they totally obliterated the pyramids!!! lol

These 2 historically never really get along so it was a surprised that they worked together at all 😂 My favorite in this movie is Godzilla relation with Mothra and how she always can calm him down to do what needs to be done,

The Loft

It was a really good movie. I might be biased though since it had some of my favorite actors in it. I always like to see Rhona Mitra in a movie, too, because I'll always remember her for the character she portrayed in Underworld: Rise of the Lycans. One of my favorite movies franchises of all time, Underworld~ ^^ ^^

I watched a horror movie called Tarot which as you may guess is about some teenagers unleashing ancient evil demons from tarot cards. It was an okay movie but just very basic in terms of horror movies with bad jump scares that aren't really scary and most of the scenes aren't very scary. A good movie if you like scary movies that won't leave you sleepless.

We watched Howl's Moving Castle today.

I loveddddddd this movie.

We also watched Princess Mononoke the other day, which I've seen before, but it's one of those movies that never gets really old for me. We are going to watch Spirited Away and the Boy and the Heron this week too if possible.
