I guess it comes down to what series they can licence. Thank you for the information it helps, I guess for me for now it's doing the old fashion way finding DVDs/ Blurays. I have some already but not the one's I really love and like.

Before my internet connection was fast enough to stream anime I was endlessly hunting through on-line mail-order sites.

A couple of days ago I clicked on a link that looked like it was OK only to see my security software kick into action and deny me access due to having malware on it. Sakura Dragon
I use Crunchyroll and Netflix nowadays. My roommate is kind enough to allow me to use his log in information for Crunchyroll and my family has a Netflix subscription. Before I had access to streaming services, I watched anime online via sites that uploaded it illegally.
DylanMax
I currently watch my Anime on Netflix got quite few interesting ones in the platform. I will mention a few like Baki, One Punch Man, Black Clover. You all should check it out
Ohayotaku
Crunchyroll has been the one constant since I started streaming around 8 years ago as it has the biggest catalog of titles that interest me. Netflix: I’m currently watching Orb & Sakamoto Days. May pause my subscription briefly once they finish, but still consider them #2 when it comes to anime. They’ve been picking up a lot of CR series after their weekly run finishes recently. HiDive: they usually pick up 1 or 2 seasonals I’m interested in. As long as I continue to get a discounted rate, I’ll keep my subscription current. Otherwise, I’ll wait for them to finish & binge them. Currently watching Danmachi & Akuyaku Reijou Tensei Ojisan (which I find surprisingly enjoyable). I don’t think the new season of Oshi no Ko is expected until next year (2026). Hulu: currently watching Medalist, but also intend to watch the various Macross titles now that they’re licensed for legal streaming (already completed Zero & Plus. Sux that they still can’t get the rights to the original) Youtube: recently they have been legally streaming some series weekly that didn’t get picked up by other services (currently Tasokare Hotel, previously Blue Archive) Adult Swim app: I no longer have cable, so I use it to watch Toonami exclusives. Probably the upcoming Lazarus series. Previously Uzumaki, Ninja Kamui & the most recent FLCL spinoffs (pretty disappointing all around honestly). Plus there’s usually like a month delay before episodes are available. Edited March 4, 2025 by Ohayotaku

Colu
We used to watch a little bit of anime on Netflix and Disney+, but we stopped subscribing to Netflix awhile ago and the Disney+ account belonged to Andy’s dad but he doesn’t subscribe to it at the moment. We have Prime, but have yet to watch any anime on it. And then recently we decided to get Crunchyroll and have been watching a bunch of different things on it.
CacheWarden
Yeah, besides Crunchyroll and Funimation, you can check out HiDive (great for niche and classic titles), Netflix (has some solid exclusives), and Amazon Prime Video (occasionally has hidden gems). fluffybug
if what i'm looking for on them i'll use netflix or crunchyroll. i've also gotten hidive for short periods to officially support certain series, but they're not on official services i'll usually use kaido or 9anime. i tend to hop around sites a bit due to server issues or etc. i also like to buy blu rays or dvds when they're available! ReverzerO
Before Im watching anime using ps4 netflix and now ps5. The quality is quite satisfying in a big screen with a real 1080 resolution. I also use other platforms like tab, cp and laptop but not that satisfying even if I set to 1080 resolution.
