  2. Ooh, interesting topic. My personal philosophy sings with my political views quite well. I'm an authoritarian, for example, and thus the relationship between authority and underling is very important to me. I believe that leadership positions of any kind should be based on merit and the spirit of the person. If they don't live up to their own rhetoric or have no desire to lead, and instead just want to rule they have no right to demand respect from anyone. A leader should have passion for the people they are leading, and all of their decisions should be for the wellbeing of their underling(s). Because of this I tend to have a lot of sympathy for fictional monarchs and dictators, but how much I like them depends. As respect and obedience should be earned, and laws should be based on taking care of the country and it's people, the law should be strictly enforced to protect the people. All laws should be clearly explained and be there for good reason that can be proven. The underling, or the people of the country in this case, should also be judged by their spirit and merit. So long as they obey the law and contribute to the country, they should not be discriminated against. A leader's love for his/her people is vital, spouses' love for each other is vital, a parent's love for their child is vital. Love is good. Someone who loves will be willing to fight for the people they want to protect, and thus I respect soldiers. If someone dies without passion, for a dream or a cause, their life was wasted and it is a very saddening thing. I view Griffith from Berserk's philosophy to be very interesting. I don't agree with a lot of the things he does (especially later on). He sees everyone around him as a pawn to help him achieve his dream of having a kingdom, so much so that anyone who doesn't have their own dream isn't seen as a true friend to him. He is very selfish, but justifies it this way; "All of these people died to get me where I am today, it would be a waste of their efforts to not keep going." This is why he's so ruthless and desperate. He wanted to get there as soon as possibe so all of the mercenaries who died for him wouldn't be lost for nothing. That's why he doesn't see anything wrong with losing people in the process, he sees their following of him as a sacrifice they chose to make, although they don't know what he'll later do to them. He's such an interesting character.

  3. What are some of your favourite characters reimagined in a different way? (Such as live action characters reimagined as Anime, or characters reimagined in different movies/shows.) Feel free to post any fan art you find of characters reimagined.

  5. Please enjoy the greatest Monica tribute from the greatest Youtuber of all time, PEWDIEPIE! I will make my lists now. Whamen first! 1: Alisa Bosonovitch (Tekken) She is my favourite female video game character and my Tekken main. Super sexy and great character design and I love her personality as well, she always insists she is human despite the obvious fact that she is not; Despite that fact, she is more human than most humans could ever wish to be. 2: Juri Han (Street-fighter) Juri is my favourite street-fighter character by far. She is psychotic and crazy but you can still feel for her because of her tragic past. She is so loveable and extremely hawt. I love her outgoing and perverted personality, it makes her a really fun character as well as an awesome anti-hero. 3: Cammy White (Streetfightter) Cammy has a British accent (best accent ever!) and if that's not enough for you, I mean, look at her. I love how devoted, strong and caring she is. She always wants to do what's right. She fights with bravery and honour and she never loses hope. She struggles with her past and that is one of my favourite things about her, she struggled to be better because of her past and she never stops improving herself. 4: Morrigan Aensland (Darkstalkers) I love Morrigan, she is really sexy but also cute as well, I love her accent and devilish personality. She is a real slut and she also does some pretty evil things but that doesn't mean she is all bad; She has done many good things and fought many powerful demons to protect the world. She is an awesome and interesting anti-hero. 5: Chun-li (Street-fighter) She has the greatest legs in gaming, she is such a hard-worker and keeps everyone safe as best she can. She is kind-hearted and amazing. I love how she takes her job so seriously and never intentionally lets criminals escape; She is no punk and she will stick with whatever it is she needs to get done. Okay, now onto the men! 1: Albert Wesker (Resident Evil) Wesker is extremely sexy, he has a british accent; His character is so cool and interesting and I love his style and flare when he fights, his cool, calm, collected and sociopathic personality as well as his dress. Perfect. 2: Chris Redfield (Resident Evil) Chris is a total stud, you have to admit it. He is crazy hot, I love his voice and his attitude; He is caring as well as savage and he knows how to get the job done. He is so skilled and tough, you just have to love him. 3: Kratos (God of war) Kratos is my all-time favourite video game character and GOW is my all-time favourite video game series as far as the story goes. Kratos is so hot and intense, he is awesome because you know he is loving on the inside despite his barbaric exterior. His voice is perfection, his eyes are beautiful and his blood-lust and drive is very sexy. 4: Claudio Serafino (Tekken 7) This pick Is really just because of his looks; I have not yet played Tekken 7 and I have not been spoiled on it yet either therefore I know next to nothing about him personality-wise. He is however extremely well-dress and very suave and sexy; I love him. 5: Jin Kazama (Tekken) Although there are some other male character I like more than Jin personality-wise I have to put Jin on here, he is just undeniably hot. His struggle with the devil gene is a big reason why I love him, you feel very bad for him at time and sometimes you may even feel like you hate him; He goes to drastic measures to do what he needs to and he is a genuinely good person despite making numerous and extremely impactful bad decisions. (Sry for such big Jin pic, its so cool tho) Anyway, that's my list.

  6. Thank you for your answer. Your first sentence "heaven lost its property and he found it (them, the girls)" helped me a little. Thanks again! Thanks to those who replied on this forum! Thank you everyone!

  7. Ling Xiayou (Panda!) and Alisa Bosconovitch (love android characters!) gets my vote. Their chemistry in that Tekken Blood Vengeance movie was great! Though I still find it amusing how they managed to shoehorn an anime style love triangle arc with its origins as a fighting game.

  8. Violet Evergarden (Kyoto Animation - fantasy/drama) looks mesmerising and promising. Beatless - I'm a sucker for cute AI bodysuit girl depictions. Darling in the FranXX- looks very interesting (Trigger + A1) as a Sci-Fi mecha .. Grancrest Senki - action/fantasy.. could be average but I do rather enjoy this genre.

  9. I haven't yet found anyone who shares exactly the same views as me but there are a few quotes that I find very fitting to describe my views. "The selfish desire of wanting to maintain peace causes wars and hatred is born to protect love." -Uchiha Madara (Naruto) Although most people go by "good" and "bad" in this world I rarely label people as either, since I do not believe in "good" people, nor do I feel it is my right to judge another or accuse them of being "bad" ... I'm actually quicker to defend the "villains" of most things since I can always see their side and see where they're coming from. Where most people see a wicked villain, a cruel bully, or a vile creature, I see where they went wrong. Most "bad" people do what they do because of love, or because of a desire to keep peace for themselves or someone they love. Although I don't believe in "good" people, I don't automatically label them as bad either, since I see the world as being mostly grey. Context, reason, mental state, moral state, all of these play a role in whether or not the character/person is evil or not. "If you truly want to continue escaping from everyday life, you've no choice but to keep evolving no matter whether you're aiming higher or lower." -Orihara Izaya (Durarara!!) I can fully agree with this statement since so many people get lost in their daily lives, their routine taking over and leaving them feeling as if they have no purpose in life. If we truly want to succeed and be more than just another cog in the machine, we need to evolve and develop. "While you're alive, you need a reason for your existence. Being unable to find one is the same as being dead." Naruto Uzumaki (Naruto) Same as I said above, if you have no reason to live and you're just following routine day after day, what's the point? "You see, the world will not change through naïve talk." -Lelouch Lamperouge (Code Geass) There are so many people who think whining will fix anything. It will not. It takes leaders and soldiers, people who are willing to stand up for what they believe in, to die for what they believe in, to actually change anything ... Words alone are useless. You must be willing to defend your statements and your words. You can not talk as if you're fixing things, if you're not actually willing to go out and work hard in order to fix it.

  10. Yep! Plus, the only reason Yuri is so Yandere is because of Monika trying to change her by editing her gamefile. :3

  11. Yesterday I met a man who, while giving me some pennies, started to make some derogatory remarks about the character on the pennies. Now, his camo overalls and other aspects of his appearance led me to assume he was one of many rednecks who live in my area, the majority of which I think are decent people. But after the remark about the pennies I knew this guy was on a whole different level. I told him, "That's Abe Lincoln, you know." Then he says something like, "Oh, I don't pay any attention to that stuff. It's all stupid!" And goes on to show me a tattoo with 'A' for anarchy. He went on to say justice was for wimps, and after that I stopped paying attention. I'm nothing close to a history buff, but I thought knowing the political figures on American currency was basic knowledge for American citizens. I guess I was the stupid one for setting my expectations so high.
