  2. So what are some of your favorite quotes? Can be anything: Philosophy , song lyrics, tv, movie, literature. Serious or tongue in cheek. Insightful or cliche. Feel free to elaborate on what it means to you ... or not A couple of mine "It's not having what you want, it's wanting what you've got" -- Sheryl Crow "I understand about indecision, but I don't care if I get behind. People livin' in competition, all I want is to have my peace of mind" -- Boston

  3. Holy chit! This series was ridiculously outside the box and weird and badass all at the same time. I kinda just stumbled onto this when I was looking to buy something on ebay, it was in the related section. What stood out to me was the name. The words serial and experiments caught my attention and from there, I immediately went to youtube to see if it was available, it was. I watched the first four episodes, and although it was a little strange at first and raised so many questions, it had something in it that kept me hooked. Luckily, from episode five forward, the show starts to make more sense and some of the questions start getting answered, and that's when I was like, "yeah, this is awesome". I finished watching the last seven episodes in a row last night and I just want to say, Wow! This series was ahead of it's time for sure. This is a 13 episode series, and only the first two eps are dubbed, it's all subtitles after that, but well worth the reading. I was actually about halfway into the third episode before I even realized that the english was gone. Lolz. I don't even know how to describe this show. Computers, alternate reality, god. That's all I got. If you haven't seen this, I highly recommend it, and if you have seen it, what are your thoughts?

  4. When I’m involved with a show or movie I can’t help that I feel it’s the only time I can feel human. Let me elaborate, I feel that being human everyday isn’t something that people everyday can do on a normal basis anymore. Like being vulnerable, genuine, growth, being you. I laugh, cry, relate, encourage, disagree, hope and so many more emotions everyday. But, I feel I can really let all my feelings out in the open “ vulnerable” and feel more human when I’m not with humans, strange I know

  5. The only question I ever was asked about anime was when I was watching some action anime, forgot which one it was, and my mother came in, watched a bit and then asked: "why can all these people jump so high?" Not the getting hit by a punch that breaks stone, falling from the sky and crushing the ground instead of dying or the hillariously flapping titties with the size of basket balls- no; it was the jumping that was the odd thing.

  6. A lot of Anime is about the feels Anime does the feels so well it's a personal feel thing and I think you made a good revelation about it. I watch Anime to get the emotions I don't see enough of in real life and for some reason, Japanese Anime does it so very well. I think it's healthy to keep in touch with these emotions and feelings as if we were to use them in an everyday setting it would be manipulated and abused this is just the nature of our environments and of course not everywhere just the bad areas.

  7. 6/10 Not a bad song, but not something I want to listen to all the time, as it is best for when things are already relaxing. Clannad - Negaiga Kanau Basho 2

  8. Also, if you like SEL and/or Ergo Proxy I'd also recommend Texhnolyze, which is criminally underrated, has some similar themes to SEL and gives you similar vibes, yet is different and unique enough. And you'll probably also enjoy Perfect Blue, a movie by the same director who made Paranoia Agent, if you liked these anime.

  9. Well if you like this style of anime you may like Paranoia Agent which I watched recently. I'm not very good at describing anime so I'm sure you could read about it on MAL or something.

  10. If your in survival digging straight down can lead to your doom easily with lava, or even gravel suffocating you. Even in creative sincee you cam destroy blocks with one click then you can fall out of the world.

  11. Can't say I relate. I'm typically fairly open about myself and emotions. I don't see the point in hiding who I am. Everyone has weaknesses and vulnerabilities. I'm much more cold online than I am in real life

  12. I feel like I have been asked this one too, and I always have to come back with. Most of the time no it is not aimed at children rather 17+, and abovee is the target market for most anime series.

  13. Oh really? Nice to see that I'm not the only one. At 28 years, it's turning into quite the problem.

  14. It starts a little slow I'll admit, but it's far from boring. It's not for everybody I guess, we all have different tastes. What has two thumbs and thinks this show was entertaining, This Guy!
