Exams.... DFGJHDFVHDFVHDIVUHRDIVHVBVADVKJRNVL
Animedragon commented on Otaku's blog entry in Life of an Otaku
Exams are bad, I never liked exams and I always did badly at them no matter how hard I studied. For my final year's exams I did reasonably well, but not well enough to make going to college an viable option. I didn't like school anyway and the prospect of spending a few more years going to classes and sitting more exams just didn't appeal to me, so I left school and got a job. I think it would have been a different story if I'd had an idea of what I wanted to do, but I didn't. As it turned out I really liked the job I got and did it for the rest of my working life. Maths was totally my worst subject and I still don't really understand it Anyway, I wish you all the best with your remaining exams and hope you get some good marks. When they're all over you can have a good rest and have some fun. -
I'm feeling OK, for a Monday morning. Why is it that Mondays always feel like bad days even when you're retired and don't have work or school to go to?

It's decently bright outside, it's not raining and it's 12C. It's just not Christmas weather at all.

Getting old and shorting out is the main concern. After all they're basically a blanket with lots of wire filaments embedded in them which the electric current heats up, and being sat on and flexed every night is eventually going to break some of those filaments which can cause arcing which in turn could set fire to the blanket.

At one of the places I worked we had a sign on the wall which said: "Get it Right and no one remembers, Get it Wrong and no one forgets." Sadly this is so true. .

I've actually been quite good and somehow managed not to burn anything recently.

It wasn't intended as a pun, however I now realise that it could be seen as one

Thank you the link and the tip/trick. I'll investigate those when I've got a bit more time to study them carefully.

A friend proudly told me this his daughter had just started school, I told him she had my sympathy because she was just starting a 12 year minimum sentence.

My parents had electric blankets, first they had an under blanket then they got an over blanket, not at the same time though, they got rid of both because of safety concerns.

PNGEgg is indeed a great place to get renders and PNGs, I've grabbed quite a few from there. My attempts to change the colours of things don't always work out though, I think I must be missing a trick or two in that area.

Judge: "You stand accused of robbing a peanut butter shop. Do you have anything to say in your defence?" Sakura: "Yes your honour, the rats made me do it."

Remembering doing just that when I was at school.

I think it's so nice when people take their pets on holiday with them, because pets are part of the family.

I didn't do anything today it was too cold and damp to want to go out. There were several things I could have done around the house, but I couldn't work up the enthusiasm to do them, so I spent the day on the computer, watching anime and napping.

I'm like that at the moment. I really don't function well in the cold damp winter months.

That sounds an interesting and memorable (for all the wrong reasons) holiday. Thanks for sharing it with us. On the matter of toilet paper, when I started work the paper in the toilets was a sort of greaseproof stuff that was totally useless for the purpose it was supplied for, and each sheet had "Government Property" printed on it. Don't worry about spelling mistakes, I'm really bad at spelling and rely on spellcheckers, the problem is that ewe sometimes get the write spelling butt the wrong word!

It'd 6C, dull, overcast, wet and miserable. I think I'll stay indoors today.
