I'm always really glad when this time of year comes because holiday vacation, but I'm dreading the exams that are coming before it.

School exams are thankfully a long way in my past, but I remember dreading them.
But even at work I wasn't free from them, we regularly had to do computer based training courses. One of the places I worked every year every employee or contractor had to compete 5 mandatory CBT courses, basically to check that we understood the company's policies etc. You couldn't fail the courses because you just had to keep doing them until you got all the answers correct!

I need some advice. I am thinking of caring for a dog. The problem is that i am alone and not that big of house. Pros are; i work in IT 3 days from home. I walk a lot. Cons are: i need to find someone to walk for the 2 days i am not working from home but at ASML. And am i ready for this commitment? But than again; a dog must be better at myn house than at a metal box?? Advice please

Got a short weekend this week, courtesy of OSIRIS-REx delivering pieces of Bennu to Earth. 24 hours on-call the day before then 10 or so hours on-site Saturday leading up to the reentry of the capsule containing the sample.

Finally back in Ireland, was really an incredible journey and I cant wait to write a proper blog post about it all, unfortunately got a pretty bad sunburn all over my back so painfully suffering with that but heyo, only two weeks before I'm back on a plane to start another adventure!

Really procrasniating my Spanish work placement report which I'll need done before my trip to Kili or I'll be fined 100 euro per month by the University and fail the year.... so many pages so little motivation.

Got my accomdation for Prague!!! unfortunely I seem to have been given the one furthest away from the department I'm studying with and also the most run down one but oh well
