  1. Almost forgot that those of us who don't live in Japan won't be able to watch this until 2016 or later, when the BDs come out (considering that it's aired in theaters). So it isn't just delayed till November - it's delayed by a whole year for us non-Japs.
  2. Detective Conan motivated me to read "A Study in Scarlet", and that's a big deal for me because I don't like reading (which is why I only got through half of the book).
  3. Sorry for the bump, but here's the promo image:
  4. It's probably because her voice has grown too old for the appropriate age of tri-Mimi, IMO. Probably the same with the other cast members. Somehow, this isn't the case with the Digimon casting, so that's what intrigues me. Then again, Agumon's voice actress was pretty old even back then, and the voice was always hoarse anyway, so it probably doesn't matter.
  5. lol I don't watch enough shounen/super sentai to have any knowledge of who they are. I know Aldnoah.Zero though, but only because of Urobuchi.
  6. I know, right? lol It would be so cool if they have put in the effort to make six Digimon movies. Damn. That would really gain my respect as a Digimon fan. Edit: What if they decide to release a movie annually to have a better story written? Damn, we'd be celebrating Digimon for the next five years. Shit.
  7. *sees Alpha and Omega clashes on-screen* *chokes on spit* Freaking hell. That's some cool shit. It's about time the symbolism of Alphamon and Omegamon gets some screentime again. None of that Omnimon crap. Anyway, it would be pretty cool if they're going down the Taiora route, so whatevs, Sorato supporters! Haters gonna hate! But yeah, jokes aside, that's most probably not gonna happen, despite the fans' desires. It would be nice if there's some subtle interaction between the two though, like telling each other how they've both moved on and matured, etc. Kinda disappointed that it's an OVA series. Curious why they put in the teaser, "Released in theaters" (the kanji) if it's an OVA series. Oh well. It would be awesome if it's a movie series like Evangelion-Rebuild, but I'll take what I can get. And man, this totally isn't being released in "Spring" at all, or April for that matter. MAL screwed up big time.
  8. Just a few more episodes before the PV of Digimon Adventure tri.! lol What a lovely day. What a lovely day indeed.

  9. Episode 48 I've got to say, despite being cautious not to hold any high expectations, I'm pretty excited about this.

    Famous People

The last time I could remember meeting anyone famous (as in face-to-face) was more than a decade ago. He's a local Singapore actor who happened to be in a jewelry shop for reasons unknown. My mum embarrassingly told him that she's seen him in a lot of antagonistic roles. lol... Other than that, no, I don't meet famous people very often. My parents and I did see Jack Neo and Mark Lee (another pair of local actors/filmmakers) having lunch together, again, over a decade ago. My mum also met another famous actress in a restroom when I was even younger. But that's pretty much it.
  11. This doofus. Oh well. At least he's lazy like me. And he offers words of wisdom from time to time. Between him and Kamina of TTGL, he's practically a prophet. Not sure about his interest in Shounen Jump though...
  12. I don't listen to music a lot, but the few artists I love are Linkin Park and Blue Stahli. I can't get enough of Numb.
  13. I would probably visit a fun slapstick comedy like Nichijou, Azumanga Daioh, or perhaps even Haruhi. Having Haruhi around in real life would be pretty annoying, but being in a high school setting with her might be pretty fun. And we'll get to do that dance at the end of every episode! lol Otherwise, any comedy setting with a light-hearted mood would be fun. Just relax, chill, have laughs with fun people. How much better can it get?
  14. Still playing NV after god knows how long. Damn, the things you could do with this game. And I haven't even started any of the DLCs yet, nor have I gotten any of the endings yet.
  15. lol OH. You mean "EDs". I thought you meant the ending to an anime series, as in the last episode. Haha... My favorite ED theme... there aren't a lot of them. I'm on the same boat as you, I don't have a lot of favorite EDs. They are slow, boring, and sentimental, albeit understandably so. It's just my personal taste though. I know there are plenty of EDs out there that are pretty good, but I've never really found many EDs that I liked. That said... WataMote ED 1 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-NdMa6Y6zic I love WataMote's EDs. Musou Renka and Natsu Matsuri are pretty cool, but I find this ED 1, "Dou Kangaete mo Watashi ga Waruku Nai" (No Matter How I Look at It, It's not My Fault!), very adorable. It helps that it's catchy too. Mirai Nikki ED 1 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eiTdYWJHd6k Mirai Nikki had many problems, none of which involved its OP and ED themes. The amazing presentation of the ED just impressed me through and through. It's hard to describe my feelings when I first saw this ED with the right words (without sounding cliche), but in a word, "Epic". Welcome to the N.H.K.! ED 2 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K70Sw56HhYQ Despite my earlier complaint about sentimentality, there are rare exceptions like this. This song is beautiful, especially given the bittersweet mood of the show. Gintama' ED 1 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rwv_ERDCjDk The entire Gintama franchise has a lot of sentimental EDs that just didn't win me over. This ED, however, has a chorus that's just catchy enough for me to like it, though only just. And finally, you can't talk about EDs without mentioning the ED of all EDs: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c5G5bD2Do-k Damn. I wanna do that dance someday.

  17. What's fibre-what? lol Sorry, I'm not familiar with the technicalities. For the record, I don't use Singtel. I'm using Starhub.
  18. Actually, on your Windows platform in Boot Camp, while you can access the files in the OS X side of things, you can't 'grab' them per se. You can't copy or delete them in any way whatsoever. There's only a 'read-only' permission given unless you reboot the computer into your OS X platform.
  19. Yes. Yes. All my yes. Too bad the comment section is predictably biased. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TDaeZE0cBls

  20. Psychological. Basically any story that gets in your head and provokes you, makes you ponder about important topics and stuff, like existential nihilism (not in a generic "nihilistic villain wants to destroy the world" kind of way). Oyasumi Punpun and Aku no Hana are both good examples of this.
  21. Been playing Fallout: New Vegas for the past week. Haven't got much sleep since then. Man.

Ironically, many indies are far better movies than your typical mainstream blockbusters.

  23. Marvel, DC - I don't care. I simply don't like your boring action movies about generic good guys beating generic bad guys.

You should watch arrow or flash its a good series ;).

Yeah, so I heard. I'm just a little tired of superhero shows being the same ol' rehashed BS... and how their fans won't take any criticisms without resorting to mindless Keyboard Warrior nerd-rage. I'll probably check out Arrow and The Flash a little later, after I finish watching Netflix's Daredevil. That one's pretty good.

nahh ignore those DC - Marvel retard fans just enjoy the show and you're good. ;)

  24. It changes variably throughout the months. Sometimes I'm lucky enough to have a healthy and natural sleep cycle, but recently, I'm stuck in one of those unnatural night-owl cycles once again. Not the first time I'm stuck scavenging for food at 3 in the morning. I usually sleep at about 6 or 7am during these periods. And yes, it does affect my daily life. I wake up hungry, and day turns to night in a matter of hours after I wake up, making it difficult to travel outside and shop for food if you consider my fear of bugs (bugs in the day don't frighten me as much for some reason).

    NEET?

Oh, you mean Japan? Yeah, I had thought that you guys frown upon 'otaku' shut-ins who live with their parents and all. I have heard about the tough times that's been occurring recently, so what you said makes sense.
