Happy to see the official announcement that Appare Ranman will get a restart in July as what I saw of it prior to the delay  seemed promising. To me had a similar feel to Shinichiro Watanabeâs work. Was also glad Diary of Our Days at Breakwater will be returning. While it seems like it will just be a SoL/CGDCT series, I still enjoyed what I saw.

Just heard on the radio about this idea to supposedly make eating in restaurants safer during the pandemic. Where plexiglass domes lower from the ceiling around each patron. Know Iâm showing my age here, but all I can think of is the âCone of Silenceâ from Get SmartÂ

Started watching the Tanya the Evil movie this morning. Will continue on my lunch break, but probably wonât finish until this evening.

Saga of Tanya the Evil episode 8. In many ways felt like the culmination of the series primary theme: The capability of humans to rationalize âinhumanâ behavior.

Should be able to finish it today before moving onto the movie. Honestly I donât find Tanyaâs behavior nearly as disturbing as Ainz in Overlord
torturing people to death just to resurrect them & do it again and then use whatâs left to create undead soldiers. Thereâs the possibility that they may just be characters in the game, but as much time as the series spends on developing them, still makes me cringe every time it happens

While itâs not all that dark compared to a lot of other stuff, I  have to admit Iâm a bit surprised by Inuyashaâs tone. Think itâs because my primary memories of Rumiko Takahashi is Ranma 1/2 & Urusei Yatsura. Easy to forget she also did Mermaid Forest/Scar.

people who write this series off for the violence & lewdness are missing something IMO.
Âfigured Claire wasnât the type to lose her cool over what happened between Shuichi & Chihiro though sheâs clearly not happy about it. But fully expected Elena to rip her cute little head off. Strange that Chihiro remembers merging but Shuichi doesnât. Seems he & Elena were a couple or well on their way to being one before what she did erased his memories of her. And now they canât be together because she has a different agendaÂ
 As to Claire & Shuichi not being able to be one because theyâre too different, seems to me thatâs what makes their partnership work.  The Chihiro/ Shuichi merger was more powerful, but out of control. Shuichi/Clair seem to balance each other out[/spoiler]

Just finished episode 12 of Inuyasha about the little girl in danger of becoming an evil spirit & it having nothing to do with the sacred jewel. Much darker than I was expecting it to be, but understanding a little better why the series has the respect it does.
