Just got back from watching Promare. Definitely the sort of visual spectacle you expect from Trigger with several nods to Gurrenn Lagann. Unfortunately as far as characterizations and story, pretty much on the same level as the live action Transformers movies.  The music was pretty cool though.

And came up as Bulbasaur. Have to say it matched my personality better than most

I haven’t felt very well for a days either, in my case thinking it’s a sinus infection from a bad allergy day 

So looks like Promare will be at the local theater next month, but only 1 showing. Debating whether or not to go.

Concept wise sounds similar to Fire Force. Visually looks similar to Gurren Lagann.
