Its harder to find as many good dubbed anime, especially if you want to watch airing anime. So I end up watching more old anime when watching with others.

A lot of my friends who are into anime also buy merch. They will get hats, or backpack, T-shirts.. all the good stuff that shows what they are about, and who they adore. I'm more of a closet nerd. I like to keep that to myself, when I'm meeting someone in person. SO, while I don't wear any anime T's or hats, or backpacks... I love me some plushies... Now this season of Fruits Basket has definitely made sure that I'll be buying their plushies, since it seems the 2nd ED has basically turned every character into an adorable little plushy character (just for me ^_^) Do you let your anime love shine for all to see? Or are you more of a secret admirer?

From what I remember, your favorite song was the same, or very close. Well I'm sorry to say, he's nowhere near as dramatic here. Pumbas song was really funny. The song where simba and nalah run away from zazu is different in theatrics. Youll just have to watch it and take it all in afresh. It was nice

Since I said I'd let you know how it went, I will let ya know - I enjoyed it very much. It was a really nostalgic and happy experience seeing it again. I thought the voice acting for scar wasn't as dramatic as the original - it left more to be desired, but since he's not the main character I can forgive that. Simba and Mufasas voices were on point. There were more comical elements added in from current culture and the songs weren't the original to the T. So be aware, the songs were for the most part all slightly altered in lyric or style.

Death note... The loss of a beloved character was very heart wrenching, but I still enjoy watching it. Admittedly I never get past that to the end though.

Old Disney movies! The Fox and the Hound, Homeward Bound (I even bought the VHS tape to watch recently) and today I’m going to see the new Lion King Stand by me is also another one that is nostalgic for me for the reasons you’ve listed, along with The Sandlot - I used to play a lot of sandlot baseball as a kid, so the memories are great. I’d recommend watching the movie “The Mid 90s” for all the 90s skaters out there. It was a good time to be a hoodlum
