Agreed. Anime, around the time I started getting into it, for some reason had this stigma. It was almost something to be embarrassed about enjoying.. However, I believe this is most likely due to the cultural differences. Even though different cultures were accepted during that time period, I'd say for sure that it is not as widely accepted as it is now, if that makes sense. I live in America though. So... I'm in a country full of people who hate other people for no reason. lol Honestly, it was the lack of understanding where it came from and what it was about or why certain things were the way they were.

Heck yeah. No, I find this somewhat relevant to what we are discussing. There's many variations of smoking, even if we were referring mostly to cigarettes/nicotine. As long as you aren't running around the forum discussing your escapades constantly, I don't find issue with it. As you have stated, you live where it is legal. I never saw a huge problem with it, personally. They have found many benefits to THC. While it's not for everyone, I personally know a handful of people it actually helps cope with certain things- pain, anxiety..

The guy I'm with and I actually got together because we were both "ball busters" and amused each other with our, often times, extreme sense of humor. I try to be a bit "tame" here, considering this is a forum for all age groups and I'm a moderator. So I feel like I have to uphold some kind of mature composure. But, that being said, I think nothing is more refreshing than being yourself. As long as you're not being overly explicit, it's fine, dude. Honestly a lot of us here aren't uptight. Don't look too much into things.

Plot twist. None of us are actually Mafia, we are in fact all civilians placed into one game, brainwashed by @Orius to believe that we must fight to live, mindlessly killing each other, innocent victims. The only real mafia member is @Orius , disguised as the game master.

I, My, Me Strawberry Eggs! I loved it. It was probably one of the first anime I watched all the way through. I ended up really loving the plot and story line. But when I mention it to people, I get the typical "ew" since it's basically loli lol. Alsooo.. Sword Art Online season 2. Lol. I did not think it was that bad, though I always hear everyone saying so. I actually rather enjoyed the first half of season 2. Vampire Knight (THE MANGA) - let me preface by saying manga because the animation was awful. One of those manga that I actually really loved artist and general plot wise. At one point, I kind of lost interest, but, another one that I actually enjoyed to some extent but have others around me losing crap over it lol. Finally, Princess TuTu. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this series, it is my favorite series and I love the animation so much. :'( Created by the lovely lady who did Sailor Moon, I get a lot of crap for it. :'( But I love it so much!

I agree with half of your point. I know there's a lot of people who smoke because it seems cool. But that's not how I started, personally. I started smoking around 18. I would consider myself having a predisposition to smoking since I had two parents who smoked up to 2 packs a day. I enjoyed the smell. Which sounds weird, considering most non-smokers dislike it. In any case, I picked it up due to my oral fixation. And then once I started smoking regularly, it became difficult for me to quit. I did quit for a few years, but in 2015, picked up smoking again due to stress. Since then I've been trying to quit again. Despite the health side effects of smoking and knowing what it can cause, an addiction is an addiction. Knowing that drinking copious amounts of alcohol can cause cirrhosis of the liver, doesn't stop a true alcoholic from drinking. But I do agree to the point that kids, even other adults should avoid smoking. It's highly addictive and awful. Difficult to quit and annoying for others to be around. It's not a pleasant habit. Understandable. As a smoker, even I find it rude when someone blows smoke in my face. I don't mind when people vape, but I do find it obnoxious when they vape in cetain environments because they can get away with it. I smoke regular cigarettes but also own a vape. I don't vape everywhere though. lol I had someone vaping in the place I work and I was just like "....why." lol

This seems highly valid. I would second that he's quite shifty. However, Sekkarou trying to suddenly come out as female when they have hid their gender for so long seems to be a bit concerning. Possibly a ploy for us to feel sympathy towards them? Maybe if they come out as female now, we may not be as harsh? :naughty:
