  1. On that note, Sony has promised today that a slue of Japanese titles are headed for the PS4 and will be shown at E3: http://gematsu.com/2017/06/sony-teases-big-announcements-japanese-games-e3-2017 Now what that entails obviously is yet to be seen, but considering this year has been dominated by Japan, with the only real competitor outside of it being Horizon Zero Dawn, this can only be good news. Just as long as the games they show really are up to the quality of Japanese games that have released so far this year.
  2. Welcome to AF MegaMike. Hope you enjoy your time here.
  3. Banned for the horrible lighting in your profile pic
  4. Naruko Anjou comes to mind. She acts like she's not bothered by anything around people for a good amount of Anohana. But you know, any character from that anime is good bet for any category they fit into.
  5. I'd be lying if I said that my favorite Ghibli movie is spirited away, I'd be even by lying if I said it had my favorite music but there's something about this cover that makes me so happy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qXXbTwL79R0

  7. I'd honestly probably write a story not unlike the dot hack games and anime's. Characters in an MMO fighting a threat that could harm the outside world, character driven moments that even the most desensitized fan could enjoy. Things of that nature that can really change peoples perspective on things.
  8. That wouldn't get far enough to start doing that. Seriously, that video was so annoying I couldn't finish watching it, and the same would happen to anyone trying to sell anything to me, even their faith.
  9. I'm with you on the Dynasty Warriors thing. I love the spin-off titles like Dragon Quest Heroes, although I've yet to finish II because of the stupidly large difficulty spike for the final boss requiring hours upon hours of grinding just to beat it. That said, I'm actually playing some Pokemon as well, but the original game on my 3DS and I'm using pokemon I rarely do like Vulpix and Fearow.
  10. Would I get two hugs if I said yes? Either way, why not.
  11. Honestly, because voice acting in Japan hasn't changed in almost 20 years, I don't blame you. I get tired of hearing the same total 12 voices in anime so sometimes I wait for dubs as well.
  12. I have never been shy about it. My Mom isn't aware of a lot of anime, but she barely even flinched the first time she saw me watching adult swim, and someone's head got cut off during a fight. I may have been lucky though, I've always known someone was into it. I got a friend into anime one night when he was staying over and we watched it. I'd been made fun of before for mentioning it when I was still in high school but that was over a decade ago so I'm really not bothered by it.
  13. Guess if i have to pick one, Long John's it is. A friends life is in danger and in order to save them, you mus give up one thing forever. Your choices are: Anime Video games The Internet Your own life Which do you choose?
  14. That is by far the best intro I've seen someone make when entering this forum, so you've cleared that hurdle wonderfully. That said, I'm probably the biggest gamer in this forum, and JRPG's are my favorite genre, so we should get along nicely. Welcome to AF. Let's hope your happy accident is a blessing in disguise.
  15. I'm down. If I can ever get Black Desert Online to run, it's pretty cheap and looks like a decent game to play. Just a suggestion.
  16. I do agree partly with the killing of the character that you saved, but that's only one possible ending. If you save one of them when their fighting, you can kill one of them afterwards so if you don't, their death at the start of this season is on the player. With that in mind, that's the only thing you and I agree on and even then it's not completely. I'm not gonna debate it with you though because we'll clearly never seen eye to eye, and I honestly think you're only thinking like that because the once choice ended that way, which is on you. I've said what I want to about it, so I'm done.
  17. I cannot agree with any of that. After finishing the story, and all that, I honestly think the Walked Dead: The New Frontier is my favorite Telltale game and man do the choices matter, they always have. Deciding who lives and who dies, knowing all too well that someone has to, is incredibly compelling and difficult. The Walking Dead games are some of the best narrative works in the industry, and this season despite not having a great third episode, had some of the best I've ever seen in the series.
  18. I'm finally getting around to playing Episode 4 of The Walking Dead: A New Frontier. I don't know why I didn't play it, but for some reason I never felt compelled to. Now I'm going to go through it and play episode 5 as well to wrap up the season. Here's hoping episodes 4 and 5 were better than 3 was because damn, 3 was bad.
  19. I'm talking presentation at E3 wise. If another trailer drops for Kingdom Hearts that ends with now in development or without a release window of any kind, that's a huge damper on the whole show, and not having a proper public update for Shenmue III is going to hurt regardless. It's true that they could probably have the best show of E3 by starting with Uncharted and ending with Last of Us 2 alone, but for all that, there's a lot of places they could slip up, and that starts with what happens with Kingdom Hearts, and whether or not the middle of the show is worth anyone's time.
  20. With all due respect commander, I think we should let Hana settle in before we impose anything on her. The Army will grow while she decides her place here as is.
  21. Welcome to AF Hana. We are always glad to welcome a new member, and one who has a good taste in anime is all the better!
  22. We all have a song or two, or 5,000 that makes us happy or sad, and maybe even bring us to tears. These songs can be as such because of the memories they spark, or simply because of how beautiful they are to us. So, why not post them here, maybe get a happy cry out of it while you're at it. Here are two that really move me. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GFDvcR7Ozbg That is, without a doubt my favorite Kingdom Hearts song of all time and stirs a lot of emotions in me. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IG_FY3v0uWk This one, just makes me feel a lot, not because I'm sad, or because I'm happy or anything, but simply because it's such a beautiful song. Piano is my favorite instrument, and this is my favorite song that I've ever heard played on it.
  23. I already said I would no problem, but I wanna see if anyone is bold enough to step up who hasn't yet.
  24. Into literal potatoes of Mush
  25. I think everyone does. I know for me, I used to watch Eureka Seven every year at least once for about 6 years, and how I haven't watched in a long time. I could probably go and watch it again, but I don't know if I ever will. I'd also probably never rewatch some of the longer anime out there I got into, just simply due to length. After knowing everything that's going to happen, it's kind of hard to enjoy something as much as I used to. In contrast, shows like Cowboy Bebop are constantly rewatchable. It really depends on how much someone likes something the first they see it, and of course that's something that varies person to person.
