Yeah this ^ My work study course was canceled because we have to be outside for it and they thought that was a bad idea today.

85 is cold compared to the 100 it was been this week.

I'm not going to come and live in your part of the world, 101F/38C would finish me off . It's 27C/80 F here at the moment which is a bit too warm for my liking. The rest of the week is apparently going to be cooler at 22C/71F which is much more comfortable.

Yesterday and today we are celebrating because it's only 27C/80F today instead of these constant 37C/100F's

I'm really over the heat lol I was slightly wishing I was back in Chicago the other day because while it can be hot around 90 there isn't a lot of humidity by Lake Michigan and it doesn't feel as bad to me as it does here, then I read it was 113F there which is 45C  And I was like welp... actually glad I'm here then they can keep that lolll I can't wait till Winter tbh, because it'll just be 0F / -17C all the time and I can go outside and frolic lmao

A while back the temp reached 45C and it was treated as some sort of emergency and we were all advised to stay indoors and not travel and the main railway stations gave out free bottles of water. At the other end of the scale -17C would cause quite a few problems. The UK just doesn't have regular swings between extremes of hot and cold weather so we're not really equipped to deal with it.  If the outside temp was -17C I'd stay firmly indoors, but then us older people feel the cold more.

I'm used to -37C/-35F as a regular day to go outside in  This hot weather isn't really for me either. To me it feels like living in Hell suddenly. A "hot" day for us in Finland is probably 65F/18C. This is when we think we need to stay indoors because it's too hot outside. This 100's is been too much. 

Today though, there was a nice breeze, it was 75F/22C and manageable. A good day to be out walking by the river.

45C/113F is treated as an emergency here too lol ~ I think that's only normal in the US over in places like Arizona maybe and that region because it's an actual desert. They called off our classes in the afternoon last week because it was 102F/37C. It felt too hot even sitting in front of an AC :c But today was great~! Blue skies + low temps again and windy and just nice. I wish it could be like that basically every day in the 60F-70F range (which is 15C-20C range).

77F or 25C here now. This morning I woke up to 60F or 15C and I had to run to turn off the air conditioner that had been left on in my room, I was freezing

Same lolll it was so cold in the house this morning @.@ But I have never been happier lmao ~ walking home from classes and not melting is amazinggggg ~

It's currently fairly bright and 17c which I'm happy with. Rain threatened later on which I'm not so happy about.

It was a little hotter today but nothing like it was. It needed AC on but there was no humidity.

Same here.  It was even hotter in my car when I got in to come home after work.  The humidity is very low too.  I thought I was going to dry out and turn to dust until the AC finally kicked in and brought things under control!

Gak!  It is even hotter here today than it was yesterday!  I decided to park in the parking structure today instead of where I usually park in an open parking lot.  It is about 2 blocks further away but I parked on the lower level out of the sun.  As long as I don’t melt on the walk from my office to the lot at least when I get there the car should not be blazing hot like it was yesterday.

It got hot again here today too at 90F. Not as hot as last week but still hot. I hope it doesn't go back to the 100s.

Ya it was 90 today but the humidity wasn't like, awful.. so I didn't feel like I was dying. I was inside most of the day though or on a boat/in the water so that was nice. It's supposed to rain again tomorrow, yay.

This morning at about 5am we had a thunderstorm and when I got up a few hours later it was dull, overcast, wet and cold the thermometer said it was 17C but it felt a lot colder than that.
