That's kind of a spread-out selection there.  Not sure exactly what you're after but that said I recommend you should try Trigun for starters.  Maybe The Third: Girl with the Blue Eye or  Aldnoah.Zero.  If you liked Mushi-shi you might be interested in the Natsume Yuujinchou series.  Sukitte ii na Yo or Lovely Complex or (maybe) Bokura ga Ita if you liked Kimi ni Todoke.  Chikyuu Shoujo Arjuna might mean you would find something like Shangri-La or Blue Gender interesting, or the more old-school Mononoke Hime or Kaze no Tani no Nausicaä.

Hope that helps!

Speed Grapher is a good shout if you haven't seen it. Early 2000s and has that dark, gritty urban vibe too it.

Also the premise is... um, yeah.

Not sure it fits what you are looking for but maybe Shaman King or School Rumble?

You might also want to pick 5 of those and try @Ryan Dave Jimenez' automatic suggestion at https://animegauge.com/anime-suggestions/

Thank you for the shout out. 😄

But yes that is pretty varied. Some of those shows aren't on my website at all.

But just to add to the above recommendations:

But soon, Sword Art Online's 10,000 players discover that not only are they unable to log out, the only way they can return to their physical bodies is by beating the 100-level tower's final boss - that is, if their HP doesn't drop to zero first, for death in the game means death in the real world. A little late but I have a few suggestions.

If looking for something similar to Arjuna, try Magic Knight Rayearth.  It has similar pacing, is a magical girl type, and similar art. Then if you like Rayearth, consider giving Ronin Warriors a try. It's art style is very close to Rayearth and although not a magical girl type, it is a true classic.

For something like Solty Rei (I loved that anime!), try Outlaw Star for starters and possibly Galaxy Railways. You have a scifi/space opera component and older looking graphics.
