We originally had a different internet company that told us it would be no problem to change our address and just bring our modem and connect our service at the new place. Then yesterday trying to set it up I was on the phone with them for over 4 hours and they canceled my account multiple times and kept trying to build me a new account and couldn't. I have no idea what all that is about. I just took their modem back and switched to a different internet company. Moving can take a pretty big emotional toll on people from all the stress of it and then everything is new and confusing once you get to the new location. New sounds, new sights, empty house at first, makes everything strange until you get settled in. Night times can be the worst because there's no distractions, it's just you and your thoughts. When you move to a new place and are surrounded by lots of new things it's only natural to think back and wish for the familiar things you left behind, but hang on in there and things will improve as you get to know your new neighbourhood. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It definitely helps, Still miss my mom/dad/sister/etc.. but I do have Pessi + I have some aunts/uncles/cousins here so I have a few family members. Some forums have a pretty lively population. Today I had a good day. Played pool and air hockey in our sky deck lounge and went out for a nice lunch. I had a pretty okay day too. I had to do my job(security officer) yesterday, which resulted in someone being fired for violating company policy at my assigned company. There were extenuating circumstances, but I had no choice.
