What Did You Do In Gaming Today

I've almost caught up to how far I got in my last New Game of Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition, which right now I'm at the part right after Yuri, Karol, Rita (her last name is Mordio and some impostor was doing things in her name that frankly would made me scared of her if it was me doing it. lol She's a frickin mage, dude, she could set someone on fire if she wanted to. I'm not about to make someone like that mad. o.o), and Repede saved Patty who is apparently one of the characters that joins Yuri's group later in the game I'm guessing and a boy whose parents couldn't afford the outrageous taxes the magistrate of Nor Harbor was taking from people. After saving Patty and the scared boy, Yuri and party ended up in the end part of the monster infested dungeon that Ragou (the magistrate of Nor Harbor) liked to put people's kids in if they couldn't pay taxes. He's had a Rhybgaro just outside of the town which he and his henchmen kept telling the people of Nor Harbor whoever caught it would never have to worry about taxes again. The catch of course was that the Rhybgaro was far too strong for any of the people in Nor Harbor to hope to capture. Magistrate Ragou's reasoning for all of this? He gets bored and needs something to "entertainment" himself which is apparently the horrific scenario I just described. I definitely didn't expect this game to have such dark themes in it, but it's all the more satisfying when Yuri catches up to Ragou (who uses his position on the Royal Council to weasel out of his expected punishment) and kills him. It's Yuri by himself when he does this though, so the rest of the party don't know he does it and everyone just chalks it up to Ragou missing all of the sudden. I've got to say though, it's very satisfying watching Yuri make Ragou pay for his inhumane and horrific "entertainment". There's an option to change the look of each character btw and I really want to show you the outfits I've been having them use, so I'll take screenshots before my next post.

Nahhh basically what Pessi said lol ~ The area that I'm in is full of dwarfs from the dwarven race who run the mines xD They just walk around the area everywhere and say funny things. I thought I would only been here a week but it's looking like it's going to turn into 2 weeks lolz

A bit the same thing since it seems dwarfs are always in mines and underground in all movies or references.

Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition

So, after being caught by Flynn who was a knight, Ragou came up with some weak story about how there was an impostor who was doing bad things in his name that looked like him. The Emperor is deceased, but apparently there's 2 eligible descendents for the Imperial Throne (there was another term used in the game, but I can't remember what it was), but in order for someone to be the next Emperor, they need something that I forgot the name of. It's a really weird name of some kind of object that I guess allows one to right to become Emperor or something. I'll find out as the story progresses. After the whole creepy nefarious speech by the magistrate about his "entertainment," Yuri hurled an Azure Blast (basically an air element blast from the bodhi blastia he owns) at the gate and knocked it down. Of course, that's when the weasel magistrate took off. In the magistrate's mansion there was a blastia that controlled the weather and made it rain all the time, and when a ship would disembark without permission the weather would get worse and said ship would sink. That was all thanks to the blastia in the magistrate's mansion which was pretty much a Frankenstein's monster of different blastia combined into one which isn't how they're supposed to be used at all and which got Rita Mordio pretty angry since she seems to care more about Blastia than about people, or at least understands them more than she understands people and she even said "blastia can't betray you" at one point in the game, so I understand where she's coming from. But the way they misused the blastia in the magistrate's mansion to make some chimera of blastia which allowed them to control the weather REALLY got her angry. She was hurling fireballs left and right to the point that the mansion started burning to the ground. o.o However, thanks to this emergency, Flynn and his crew were able to go inside the mansion due to the emergent situation and they all saw the Franken-blastia that the Magistrate and another mastermind behind the blastia core thefts had made. When the mansion was burning to the ground, someone dubbed the "dragon rider" who was going around on what was described as a dragon and destroying blastia, appeared in the magistrate's mansion and destroyed the weather controlling blastia monstrosity. Magistrate Ragou got on his ship with the true mastermind behind the blastia core thefts: the leader of the Blood Alliance guild, Barbos. He's a burly guy, but he was quick to escape the ship with Ragou in a life raft and leave Yuri and party to Zagi, that lunatic that Yuri encountered in Flynn's room near the beginning of the game in the Imperial Castle. The dude's seriously unhinged. He was on fire and he was laughing some crazy laugh. o.o After beating Zagi though, everyone noticed that the ship they were on was burning and sinking. Yuri saved a young man who would've gone down with the ship if he hadn't yelled for help from inside a closed room. The young man Yuri saved was a candidate for the Imperial throne and, fortunately, was a gesture that warranted a full pardon in the Imperial Knights' eyes, and so they gave Yuri and his friends a full pardon so they wouldn't have anyone looking to get the bounty that they had not too long ago ever since escaping the Imperial Castle's prison. Flynn was in a ship of his own btw and rescued Yuri and his friends, along with prince Iodor who was the young man that Yuri saved. Flynn wants to change things in the Empire from within, so he joined its ranks hoping to improve it, but Yuri doesn't think it will ever change. At least that's what I gather from everything I've observed so far in the storyline around him. Around the time they were all meeting Flynn to formally charge magistrate Ragou with illegal blastia and the alleged abduction of prince Iodor. That's when Ragou made up that impostor story and used his leverage on the Royal Council, who supports Princess Estelle as a royal candidate, to get away without any kind of punishment. That must've really burned Flynn though to have to let him go. After that, Raven (the guy that Yuri met in the Imperial City's prison) mentioned that there was a rough looking group headed towards a town which Yuri assumed was the blood alliance. It was the guild that Karol was fired from. They went to a city that was destroyed by an earthquake 10 years ago in-game, but the wrong guild was there, so it was basically a fruitless search. It did get Karol to start thinking about making his own guild with Yuri though which comes up later. I'm not really sure what Karol's connection is to a girl named Nan in the Hunting Blades guild (the one Karol was fired from), but either he's got a crush on her or it's something else, but it's definitely not a normal relationship between guild members. idk if they're related so they're mean to each other or if Karol's got a hopeless crush on her, but whatever it is, Karol took it pretty hard when he was removed from the Hunting Blades guild. There was a monster underneath the city ruins that was being held inside of a barrier so it wouldn't go anywhere. Once it got out and the inevitable boss fight took place, that thing was making Yuri and his friends bounce on the ground like Ragdolls after it slammed the ground or hit the ground. I think it liked to charge in some kind of bull-like rush, too. After winning, it looked at Estelle and I think it might've even gone up to her, and just went the other way. I'm still not sure why that's about either. It's definitely weird. While taking a break at Heliord which is a stronghold and a castle bridge looking wall that bridged 2 neighboring patches of uprooted land separated by rivers, Rita Mordio noticed the barrier blastia making a strange sound that it wasn't supposed to be making. The mage genius also reported disturbances in the aer at Caer Bocrum (the city of the earthquake). If I remember right, aer is the fuel used for blastia and is in the in-game atmosphere. Rita grew increasingly worried about the aer instability situation, but Yuri decided to let Flynn and his knights handle it. Well, that's when shortly after Rita noticed the strange sound the barrier blastia started going berserk and almost blew itself up before Rita regulated it with her genius blastia knowhow. Princess Estelle was glowing a yellowish color which was really weird when she ran up to Rita to try to help somehow. I still have no idea why that happens or why she can use healing artes without a bodhi blastia, but there's something different about her other than her being a candidate for Emperor. Rita did manage to readjust the barrier blastia so that the excessive amounts of aer weren't going to explode, but Rita did get hurt herself in the process. Estelle kept healing her while the mage genius slept and recuperated. Rita woke up to a passed out Estelle sitting next to the bed she was in, so she was apparently continually trying to heal her until she passed out. Rita seemed to change a bit after that point. She started to care more about the group of people she was traveling with than she did before. The dragon rider staged an attack on the room Rita, Estelle, and Yuri were in in Heliord, but Yuri took up his sword and fought the invader off. Rita was stunned by his kindness, which is probably why she started to care more about the party she was traveling with alongside Yuri and Estelle. Rita was recruited by the knights to investigate Keiv Moc Woods, but I can't remember why. Estelle decided to travel with the party a while longer and they all went to Dahngrest, city of the guilds. Yuri went  on 1 with Don Whitehorse who was the leader of the guilds I think, and there's not much of an option but to just let him win quite frankly... lol... the barrier blastia failed as a result of sabotage by some red-eyes assailants known as Leviathan's Claw who also attacked Yuri in Nor Harbor for some reason, though I'm not really sure why they did that. Seems Leviathan's Claw is a nest of nihilists unless I'm guessing wrong, but that's definitely what they seem like so far. Ay ay ay, sooooo, to keep this as short as possible, Yuri accompanied the dragon rider whose name is Judith and she's a Krityan (but idk what a Krityan is), but Yuri's gone out of his way to make sure Rita doesn't know that Judith is the one destroying the blastia. She says she does it because she can. o.0 Barbos was apparently getting on Don Whitehorse's last nerve as it was, so it sounds like Barbos isn't exactly a good guy. The Imperial Knights and the guilds were going to join together against the menace in the shadows stealing and combining blastia cores, but a red-eyes slipped a forgery message as opposed to the original message that prince Iodor had sent to Don Whitehorse. Guilds almost butt heads with knights, but Flynn rode what looked like a Rhybgarou to where the two were going to wage war, and it called for an alliance. There's sightly more to it than that, but I'll just say Don Whitehorse released Yuri from taking Flynn's place in the guilds' prison in order to expose the puppermasters. I still haven't seen Yuri kill that creepy magistrate Ragou yet, but he does soon enough. I'll never get tired of that scene. ^^

Sorry, it's been a while since I'd posted my progress. rofl

Thank you 💜 I've known most of them since around 2017-ish and they are a really awesome group of people.

Still in the mines on RS lol ~ If all goes well tomorrow will be my last day and I should get 80, then I plan to move onto either Agility or Thieving, not sure which yet. I need to finish leveling Agility, Thieving, Slayer, and Runecrafting to 80 and then I will have every single stat above 80. The lowest I have right now is 73 Runecrafting but the others are in the 76-77 range.

Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition

Apparently Raven is a member of Don Whitehorse's guild "Altosk" and Don told Raven to keep an eye on Estelle. I haven't slept yet, so the progress I've made in the game is kind of scattered right now, but once I get some sleep I'll type up my progress other than Yuri now has a ship of their own and can basically go aaaaaalmost anywhere they want, plus some walking distance. That's pretty frickin sweet because of the materials needed to Synthesize equipment like weapons and armor that have Skills that characters can permanently learn after fighting in battles using the equipment with the unlearned skills on them in enough battles to complete the progress bar the shows to the right of the Skill name. This is a pretty fun game, and I don't see myself getting tired of it any time soon. ^^

After Flynn brought the original letter of peace to Don Whitehorse just before an all-out war between the guilds and the knights, Ragou was formally arrested for his crimes by the Flynn brigade. It didn't really do anything though because he used his standing on the council to get pretty much a slap on the wrist compared to what he should've gotten. That's when Yuri woke up late at night while the party was sleeping in an Inn, found Ragou, first took out his guard, then killed Ragou and threw his dead body over the wall into what I think was the ocean because I heard 2 splashes after watching the 2 men get attacked by Yuri and falling over the side of the castle-like road. I wonder if Judith knows what he did though sometimes because later on Yuri tries to go out late at night again to mete out justice in a vengeful way by his hand, but he ran into Judith who was walking from the other direction, ,so they both headed back to the Inn after talking to each other about what the other was doing. After that, Yuri and party talked about going their separate ways, but just as Estelle was about to be escorted to the royal castle in the Imperial City of Zaphias, a flying monster (and very huge one at that) flew right up to Estelle and said he was going to deal with the "insipid poison of this world" which was apparently Estelle as far as he was concerned. Just then, the Imperial Knights' hand was forced and they brought out quite the machine of destruction they called Heracles to drive the monster off. Judith later tells Yuri and friends that his name is Phaeroh and he isn't a monster. Judith was riding around on a creature similar to Phaeroh, but the one she was riding around the sky with was named Ba'ul and she only knew Phaeroh's name because of Ba'ul telling her the other's name. Apparently there's "Giganto monsters" which are really big monsters that can be quite the challenge to take down, but I guess I took one down already because there's a brother and sister duo who run a traveling Inn (and cheap, too, at $50 Gald per rest). The brother (I forgot his name, but I'll mention it next time I run into the traveling Inn) says he can't go back to his hometown unless all of the Giganto monsters are destroyed. There was a brigade that was sent to exterminate the monsters apparently 15 years ago (maybe longer than that, for some reason that part's difficult to remember), but every member of that extermination squad was wiped out by those Giganto monsters. After progressing the story some after talking to the brother about those monsters, I guess I failed to realize I took one down, and he thanked Yuri for taking it down and gave him something as a token of thanks. I can't remember what it was though. So, apparently I can get some good stuff from the brother of the traveling Inn siblings if I keep killing off those monsters. That'll be tough though. Estelle, after hearing what looked like a monster talking in English and calling her "insipid poison" she's become determined to once again travel with Yuri and party to find out answers to some questions she has. If I have to fight Phaeroh it won't be a very fair fight because he's literally only got wings so I imagine he'd be in the air a lot of the time. x.x Before this incident though, Yuri and party ran into a mother whose son they saved from the monster dungeon that the magistrate Ragou was feeding them to, except they wanted to know where the father, Teagle, was. Back in Nor Harbor Yuri gave the horn to Teagle because the latter was trying to get that Rhybgarou horn even when he was in no position to even try to do so. The party runs into the little family of 3 once again in Heliord, but something was really off about what the wife said they were told as incentive to work to build the castle by a particular high ranking knight by the name of Cumore and his cronies which was apparently the red-eyes Leviathan's Claw group of psychos. Cumore was basically tricking the commoners into doing forced labor with the false promise of them becoming nobles after the castle was built, which he never intended to stay true to and it was only because Estelle told the mother and son nobles are people whose services have earned the emperor's confidence. Well, since the Emperor is and has been dead for 10 years, there's literally no way for those people to become nobles in any way, so Cumore was just tricking people into forced labor with silver-tongued promises of nobility that couldn't even be fulfilled, but the commoners didn't know that and just took Cumore at his word. Looks like Cumore is another human monster to get rid of by Yuri's hand if he gets to him first. Karol and Yuri officially form a guild consisting of Judith, Yuri, and Karol. Estelle couldn't necessarily join since she was a princess and guilds are formed by people that discard anything to do with the Empire, Raven is already in Don Whitehorse's guild, and Rita is a mage employed by the Empire, so she couldn't necessarily just up and join either. Karol came up with a really long and weird name for it like Super Ultra Powerful Braves, but Estelle suggested something by the name of Brave Vesperia because it's easy to say and has a snap to it. Vesperia is the brightest star in the night sky apparently, which I don't know if it's just in the game or if there's really a star named Vesperia out there, but that's a pretty catchy guild name. Yuri wanted Karol to be the leader of the guild, who's a capable kid, but he's still just a kid. He's done an impressive job so far with the guild, but heavy is the head that wears the crown so to speak, right? Repede is the second in command of the guild, but since he can't actually talk, Yuri's pretty much the second in command but more with suggestions than anything else and bringing ideas to Karol to build up his confidence because the kid's got a serious issue in that department. He's come a long way though in the game so far and he's more confident in his abilities than he used to be. So, after Yuri got Judith to distract the knight guarding the elevator that went down to the forced labor camp, he knocked the knight out cold when Judith lured him away from his post to a hidden spot where no one would find his unconscious body. Judith was very... I'll say convincing. ^^; It was Karol's idea to lure the knight away from his post with "feminine wiles" though which surprised me that a kid would know that term. Well, it worked and the party snuck into the forced labor camp, confronted Cumore with Estelle as a witness, and fought him and the red-eyes mercenaries off after Cumore actually tried to make the princess "disappear" in his ambitious arrogance. Unfortunately, he and the leader of the red-eyes Leviathan's Claw disappeared in an explosion of smoke. The party tracked Barbos down at Ghasfarost which was surrounded by a huge whirlwind until something stopped the whirlwind surrounding the tower (I forgot what that something was). Then Yuri and the party climbed the tower to get to Barbos. The party won, but Barbos left a chilling message to Yuri saying "he'll be waiting for him in Hell" along with telling him he'd made a lot of enemies and that this life would consume him just like what apparently happened to the Don. Barbos said Yuri was the Don's spitting image. After saying all of that to Yuri, Barbos willingly leaned backwards to fall from the top of the tower to the ground waiting a long way below. At least Yuri and party don't have to worry about Barbos anymore though... So, for now, the guild has been hired by Estelle to escort her to a vast desert area that they need a ship to find. The Fortune's Market guild master was at Torim Harbor right when Yuri and party were looking for a ship. Since the guild of Brave Vesperia was already on the current job of escorting Estelle to the desert land to talk to the creature known as Phaeroh, they couldn't escort the woman that led Fortune's Market anywhere or guard them from Mermen which had the guild the previously tried to hire for the job running like a bunch of scared little chickens. It was pretty funny because she didn't even get her money back. lol So, she talked the fledgling guild of Brave Vesperia into joining her on her ship to her destination and in return she'd give them the ship. Like, literally just let them have it to do what they want and go where they want. HOW SWEET IS THAT?!?!?!? ^^ ^^ That woman rocks, but for some reason I'm having trouble remembering her name. It'll come up again, but it's only been mentioned once so far, so that might be why I can't remember. So, for now, I've docked at Nor Harbor to do a little backtracking in the areas Yuri and party has been to so far to get information on all of the monsters that I can using Magnify Lens. Unfortunately only 15 of these items can be carried at time, but it works. I'm just thinking about visiting Aspio to see if there's any scene with Rita there. If not, I'll backtrack all the way to Zaphias, the Imperial City, but I probably won't be able to enter the city even if I tried since that would probably be a bad idea right now. lol That's where I am though. Damn, dude, this game's plot is really complex. o.0

I started playing on one of my older accounts on OSRS and it's been fun watching the levels actually go up really fast, since where my main account is at it takes days or weeks to even get one level x.x I always enjoyed started new accounts lol ~ But it also feels like, I could be spending this time on my main leveling something and get one more level towards max! I guess it doesn't really matter if I'm having fun though, that should be all that counts. I can't be bothered being so serious about games anymore, it seems to take the fun out of it altogether for me.

Righttttttt ~ watching the levels go VROOOOOOOOOOM xD Today I was doing herblore and I went from 1000 total level to 1025 total level in a matter of minutes and I was like welp that is something I could never do on my main lol

Other than that I've been playing FFX today and just relaxing. It's been awhile since I played it and it's always nice to go back to it. Gives me a really nice nostalgic feeling since it's a game I played a lot as a kid.
