What Did You Do In Gaming Today

Same ^ Played OSRS today. I did agility and got it to 77 which it's one of my only skills still left in the 70s before I have all 80+s. Most of my skills are in the 90s except 4 skills which are Agility, Slayer, Thieving and Runecrafting. The 4 that I dislike training the most of course lol ~ But I will be happy leaving them at base 80s for now while I finish a lot of the other stuffs to 99s @.@

That's pretty much what I do, but to be fair I leave at 730 in the morning for school and barely get home by 9PM. But WOOOO FFX!!~  We are still playing ours, I was playing on the game we are doing a little earlier just doing training but we are around the Oasis/Desert area.

I played some more in FFX today. I finished going through the desert area and arrive at the Home area of Rikku where it is being attacked. Went through the cut scenes with the chimera attacks and to learn why the Al Bhed are kidnapping summoners and why they kidnapped Yuna. Went through the scenes of getting on the airship and flying off, watching the Home of the Al Bhed be destroyed and now I am on board of the airship and you learned that Yuna is kidnapped by Seymour and in Bevelle. I am stopped at the part where I am about to go outside the airship on the roof and fight a boss monster Evrae.

I've just done Neo today, haven't had time for much else. Though I did get out of class earlier than usual today so I had more free time to work on my weekly/daily quests and shopping on Neo which is always fun for me.

Oki so I've never played Minecraft, always wanted to, but I always wondered do people build these things on their own? Or is there some kind of thing you do that builds it for you? Some of the things I've seen people build like this are insanely cool @.@ 

Today for me I've just been playing OSRS with Pessi and some friends. I feel like I did a little bit of everything on it  We fished awhile then went woodcutting, then were running agility laps, then someone decided to host a drop party so we went to the party room, after that me & a friend did a quest together in a new area ^^

Sometimes I build things on my own but sometimes I copy something I found on the 'Net.  Lots of times I build stuff on my own plan but incorporate bits and pieces of stuff I've seen online or stuff I've built before.  It really just depends on how much time I have to spend and how creative I'm feeling on any particular session.

In the basic game you generally can only build stuff one block at at time.  There are a few in-game features that will help you build stuff however.  In "creative" mode for instance you can fly, your inventory is infinite, and monsters don't attack you.  (As opposed to "survival" mode where you have to find/craft stuff to build with and can only walk around on the ground or climb something, all while possibly getting attacked by monsters.)  There's also in-game build-aid items like scaffolds that are quick and easy to erect and tear down and help you move around on your build while you're building it.

If your server allows them there are mods out there that will help you build stuff.  Some mods will even just let you load files you've downloaded and place a build wherever you want in your world.  For me that takes a lot of the fun out of it.    Most build-aid mods have restrictions if you're playing in survival mode vs creative.  For example, one mod that I've used before will build everything for you in creative but will only show you an outline and still force you to find and place each block yourself when you're in survival.  It will also do useful things like produce a list of the number and type of all the different blocks you need for a build.

Wow this honestly sounds like it would require some kind of architecture degree to even be able to figure out how to do online XD I didn't know it could only be built piece by piece, I thought it was something like a model kit where you had basic instructions or something on how to do it. I've seen so many complex designs for things in Minecraft so now I'm even more impressed by people that can go on there and build that because I'm certain I'd never figure it out lol

It's all built with cubes, kind of like a giant lego set.     It isn't that hard to chop down a few trees and craft the logs into planks to build a wood hut or a fence to keep the monsters out.  There isn't even really any physics.  Things will just hover in the air even if you knock out what's below them.  Making it look nice is another thing entirely however.  The blocks are basically all the same size but they have lots of variation in appearance and texture.  My sister-in-law hasn't a clue about architecture but she will mix and match the textures and colors all day to come up with her builds.  Yesterday she sent my brother on an all-day quest to collect a bunch of a particular flower so she could make a dye that was the right color for something she was crafting.  When we explored an ancient city she was the one running around collecting all the candles to use as decorations in the church:

Playing OSRS right now working on some Runecrafting. Also slightly getting into playing Neo again with Sakura after she asked me to come do the plot and plot points with her. I wasn't on it for a long time but still have an account. The plot does seem pretty interesting so who knows I might start to play it regularly again at least for the plot and prizes.

I guess that just sounds complicated to me, maybe it's one of those things that once you get in there and start doing it, it makes more sense and is less complicated lol ~ Sounds like it does require a lot of thought though to make it look awesome. That church you showed before though just looks so complex and like it would take forever lol Really amazing though still that people create this stuff even if it isn't as complicated as I'm making it out to be in my head.

I did this today working on the plot and caught up on reading plot information on JN. I do like the prizes for the plot.

I just messed around on Neo and spent far more than I planned to spend on it, but oh well lol I keep working on the customs for the pets and usually that involves me realizing I need another item from the cash shop and going back and dropping another $5, but that adds up after doing it over and over XD Oh well, I guess at least it's fun and giving me something to do for now that I find relaxing and enjoyable.

Playing FFX today some. 

I finished the boss Evrae. This was one of the actual first boss fights I had I felt was hard but it was a fun challenge and I still beat it on the first try of doing it. After this your airship lands in Bevelle where you have to fight through multiple mobs to try to get to Yuna who Seymour is forcing to marry him. There are some nice scenes here with graphics that I always like. There was another boss here which was not so hard and easier I think for me. I'm just saved inside the Bevelle temple where the next part is confronting Seymour.

There's an older sister trying to revive her little sister after a soul which absorbed other souls turned into a Revenant pulled both of them into Purgatory which is apparently the place all souls go in this game. Rei got extremely angry at the Revenant called Anamnesis, but unfortunately I can't actually remember all of what happened, but Rei was angry to the point that she couldn't think clearly (I think it was because she thought Anamnesis killed her little sister, but I think she was still alive), so, Rei attacked in a blind rage, but she ended up killing her little sister, Mirai. Rei obviously didn't mean to do that, but nobody thinks things through when they're so mad they see red. So, I don't remember when exactly, but at some point early in the story the managers of Purgatory, Mephes and Pheles, got Rei to sign a contract to be an Executer which is living people who can travel to Purgatory via a brand on their body that's significant to them and still return to the living world. Executers try to kill every Revenant and Specter (I forgot what a Specter is, but it might be a less powerful version of a Revenant) they possibly can. Rei's motivation for doing so is to Revive her little sister, Mirai, before she reaches the Cogs of Renewel which are at the end of Purgatory and basically destroy everything of who had the soul and re-uses the soul for Reincarnation. If Revenants and Specters absorb enough souls (they can apparently absorb living souls, too) then they can be Revived, too, but the managers of Purgatory have Executers try to keep them from accomplishing that. Mirai is deep in Purgatory though, so Rei is in a race against time which she didn't know at first to find and Revive Mirai before her soul ends up at the Cogs of Renewel. Fortunately, the Revival of Mirai has been approved by Mephes and Pheles, the managers of Purgatory, but they seem to be kind of more in the background because I still haven't seen either of them directly interfere with any Revenants or Specters, leaving it entirely up to the Executers as far as I know at this point. So, Rei has to find Mirai's soul before she gets Reincarnated at the Cogs of Renewel. I still don't entirely understand what an Idea is in the game, so I might have to actually find out more about that online, but I -think- somehow they're used for Revival, but that's just my own assumption. I'll look up what an Idea in this game can be used for next time. Oh, and the way it's pronounced in the game is "id-ee-uh," so it's not said how you might think it's said. ^^; ^^; ^^;

The characters in the game so far I've learned of and 2 of which are fellow Executers just like Rei have decided to assist her in Purgatory. Both of them have their own stories as well, but they're pretty intricate. The following information is from https://spike-chunsoft.com/CRYSTAR/character/ along with some additional information I've observed of the characters while playing the game which is what I've been deferring to (that website) for information mainly of when other Executers join Rei just in case there's any that could be missed if I do something wrong in the game which I don't even know if that's possible or they all end up joining Rei no matter what. The managers of Purgatory, like always, simply employ Executers to destroy the Revenants and Specters for them. Or at least based on what I've seen so far up to this point in the game.

I'm not going to copy and paste the information because it has a spoiler which I really didn't want to know before it happened in the game, but she's a Revenant that Rei, Kokoro, and Sen have encountered who's really frickin powerful. After playing the game more I'll give more information regarding her, but for now she's an extremely unstable Revenant with the demeanor of a child which is really weird to hear her say the things she says which really do remind me of what a child would say. o.0 At the point in the game I'm at though, she's really interested in Rei and wants to fight her, even though Nanana calls that "playing" due to her child-like behavior. Very odd to hear her talk like that when she's so damn powerful. o.0

Rei's Guardian and the manifestation of her Soul. A special being who is able to understand human speech, unlike the Guardians of Rei's companions.

There's 2 remaining characters to list, but I haven't encountered them yet, so when I do get to that point in the story I'll post about them. I did find some information regarding Revenants and Specters on that website that I'll copy and paste though:

Specter:

When the living die their Souls may fragment, which results in them being reborn with a broken self-consciousness. Unlike other Souls, Specters appear as aberrants based on the manifestations of their Idea. Due to their incomplete Souls, they cannot speak and are very aggressive.

Revenant: 

Specters that have completely recovered their self-consciousness. They have halos over their heads.

Unlike regular Specters, these ones are capable of speaking. They focus on obtaining Revival by using an ability known as Soul Drain on other Revenants or on living beings.

I got back on my UIM mode character this morning on OSRS after a month almost and I am confused about what I was doing last and why and unsure of where to pick back up  Since I don't remember I just went for doing mining for a couple of hours until I got bored of it. I raised mining by 3 levels so this was at least productive to the character.
