Nice! In this context, the train seems like it’s shown in forced perspective. If that’s what you intended, I think it’s a really clever use of perspective. It makes the whole composition more dramatic!

Windrose Been playing this for a few days with my husband. Built a stronger boat and finally made it to level 2 faction (I forgot which one, haha). Now I can take the on ships without dying 100’s of times, lol.

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is still one of the most memorable anime for me, especially how it brings Night City and its characters to life. David’s look really stands out, and the Cyberpunk Edgerunners David Martinez Jacket is a big part of his design, giving it that bold and instantly recognizable style.

It was hubby’s birthday today so we went and got iced coffee then went bowling later. Now I’m doing a bit of reading before bed.

Hot and smoky here. NOAA has issued a heat advisory and an air quality alert for the area. Not sure where the smoke is from but it's bad enough to give me a headache and mess with my eyes and nose. Smells like a brushfire but I've checked the usual wildfire sites and didn't see anything registering on satellite. At least not yet. I've been smelling smoke since late last night though. At least one satellite should have made an overflight by now. Can't see any obvious smoke column either, just a general pale haziness in the sky all around. There's a warehouse fire down south in East Los Angeles.. maybe that's it. That's quite a distance from me however, and I think a warehouse would smell more like plastic or chemicals than wood. I just hope SoCal Edison doesn't do one of their "public safety" power shutdowns and turn off my AC in this heat. It isn't even windy.

So I'm starting something new, hoping some of you will play along. One of the games I host on the convention scene is a trivia game that takes some of its questions from the news of the week. Based on a piece from this week's news related to this circle, I devoted a category to it. I would like to share it here, and come up with more bits down the road as ideas come to me, but is there anyone here with a fair knowledge of anime, games, American shows, movies, etc, that would like to join in?

For me, Gendō Ikari from Neon Genesis Evangelion is hard to beat. He treats Shinji more like a tool than a son and practically never shows him any affection. That said, Shou Tucker is probably still the worst if we judge his actions. Mini Militia App Lock
