Maybe not then, because the romance aspect does get most of the attention, especially from the mid-point on. And frankly even that aspect isn’t particularly engaging (although at least they didn’t waste a lot of time dithering about it). I picked it up primarily for the comedic elements & didn’t necessarily mind the otome (reverse harem) side of things as I have enjoyed a couple examples, most notably My Next Life as a Villainess. But sadly it doesn’t do anything particularly well & comes off as pretty generic. I’ll finish it since there’s only 1 ep left, but will be one of the weakest of the 20 or so shows I complete this season.
And this looks likely to be the overall “best” of the shows this season. There are other shows I enjoy as much, but more for their energy or vibes than for their substance.
