I don't find it boring, but at the same time I can't buy anime as often as I used to because our little family at home isn't making as much as it used to. So, I can only get anime or a game sometimes after a while, but because I don't really have any way to explore any different anime I like to just try to buy anime from series I'm more familiar with which, like @Sakura, is from the 90's or early 2000's. That, and I can't afford to buy anime that would require buying more than 1 season to watch anymore. I seldom make exceptions, but only for anime with a maximum of 2 seasons. When it comes to more recent anime though, they tend to have more seasons than I can afford to get when I can only get a game or anime at a time now. At least that's what mom said to me... I'm paraphrasing though.

Nier Automata: The End of YoRHa Edition (Nintendo Switch): I finished 2B's route (Route A) and started the route of 9S (Route B). I've unlocked every minor alternate ending that was available to unlock for 2B and I think I've unlocked the only minor alternate endings there are for 9S, so the save file I'm using has most of the letters of the alphabet to show that. I like to keep a Mackarel in my inventory though in case I want to see that alternate ending again because I've triggered it twice in a row when I was going through Route A and that was one I got from fishing, so I unlocked it a little early. I'm curious to see if it works in the other Routes though, as well as the one that's unlocked by self-destructing in the Bunker. I've collected all of the weapons that 2B could obtain in Route A.In Route B as 9S I've hacked a handful of the locked chests so far and gotten the Type-40 Fists combat bracers, Phoenix Sword large sword, annnnnd... I'm probably forgetting one... but I might not be... it's hard to say with how many weapons I've managed to amass so far. ^^; I'm only in Chapter 2 which is when 9S and 2B first go to the Resistance Camp in Route B and complete the quests from there, but I haven't talked to Anemone again just yet. I was surprised when I saw the plug-in chips that enemies drop are different when playing as 9S in Route B as opposed to the enemy plug-in chips that drop for 2B in Route A, but I don't really know why it was so surprising because it makes sense. It's pretty fun hacking enemies with 9S though, that's for sure. lol The mini-games are interesting, and it feels pretty good to know that there's still things in this game left to discover. ^^

First of all Hello! I like many of you am a fond lover of anime. and consider myself a 48 year old Otaku! now that being said I have come across a slight problem and am looking to my fellow anime lovers out there in the world and cyberspace to hopefully be able to help me. so her is my problem as well as request. I have been trying to find a comprehensive list of Ranked skills used in the fantasy anime genre ( to include isekai). unfortuneatlyI have come across very little in that regard..... so I am hoping for anything that would give me a hand. mainly I am looking for a skill list using the letter ranking system up to SSS ranks. and if possible a brief description of said skills usage and pro as well as cons that can come with those skills. ( to include limits on how many skills is typical from average everyday adventurer to Hero of the world/defeater of the -Insert Big bad of choice-) any and all help and guidance would be greatly appreciated, even if it is to a little known table top rpg... just not DnD due to it not really having said ranking system once agin thanks for any help as well as taking the time to read my humble...yet at the same time " Mount Everest" of a request

I never got to play WOW. >< Even back on dial-up when it was the only option out there we didn't get the standard 56.4kb connection... I really hope I'm getting that number right... We only got a 26.4kb connection. It seems like we've always been stuck with really subpar internet. lol I didn't know most of the phone games had that anime look though. I haven't really learned that much about what places i China actually look like, even from the History Channel that mom and I like to watch. It'd be interesting to explore the vast expanse of the China landscape in PW. ^^ Customizing a character is always fun to do, it's one of my favorite parts of a game. ^^ I can't even think of all of the different ways there must be to customize a character in PW if someone could spend hours doing it. You're making me want to play it so much!! >< >< I didn't realize that Venomancers were magic users though. That explains the summoning aspect, but I never made the connection. lol ^^; It sounds like a lot of fun to play as a Veno. ^^ That's a good redeeming quality for the glass-like defense of a magic user type that it sounds like a Veno has. Magic users are really fun to use because of their specialty. ^^ It seems like melee based types are just easier to use. I only got into the magic users later on as I got older since I couldn't really figure out how to use them without getting crushed in a few hits in some battle. >< I admittedly wasn't a very smart kid. lol I'm better about it now, but still not exactly an expert with them or anything. A lot better than I used to be at using magic users least. ^^;

Hi! I been searching for years, literally years, for a show or movie. When I was very young we used to rent VHS tapes from a local store in my hometown in Sweden. It was usually he-man, thunder cats, dino riders and your typical 80s 90s animated shows. All these tapes had a few trailers in the beginning of other shows and there was this one trailer I just couldn't shake off my mind. A was just a little kid then - in the 90s - and had not been able to find it since. The trailer consisted of this (or the little I can remember): A girl standing on a small piece of "earth", only big enough for her, behind her I think there was a tree and she might have a pet dog or cat beside her. The background is just black space with tiny stars. The scene is very reminiscent of an episode in "The fountain" (2006) in which Hugh Jackmans character floats through space in s kind of "orb" thing. but like I said, it must have come from the 80s or 90s given that all the tapes there were from that period. And I'm pretty sure it's anime or at least very similar to anime. Very detailed and cool That was a style that you remembered being a kid in Sweden and I think the only sort of anime show I watched was Robotech. I've tried numerous searches on the internet, contacted a bunch of anime forums in Sweden, i even asked chat gpt recently but the closest I ever came to something was a show called "Akazukin Chacha" which looked a bit like I remembered my show/movie, but I haven't found the scene that I described. Maybe it is in there somewhere, chat gpt said it was a "theme" of that show; floating islands in space. So if any of you have any information I would very,very much appreciate it!

Which anime has the potential to be part of the big 3 of anime? Mine is demon slayer, it may be new and the MC is pretty cringe, but the animation, Fight scenes, and lore are pretty good.

That sounds fun to play, too. ^^ I've never been to any China-town area before though, so I'm not sure if I can actually visualize it accurately. That's more customize options than I think I've ever been able to use in a game before. If there's a lot of equipment options for the melee type characters, I'd really lean towards using that one. Or if I just kept dying repeatedly without making any progress as a magic user. lol For some reason I end up starting games over a lot. Most likely because I forget the story of the game, or most of it anyway. The weird thing is when I do forget the story (or most of it) and restart it it kind of is like playing it for the first time all over again. Weird, huh? o.0

I like a good fight or two in the series and movies I've come to enjoy since becoming an Anime fan. So what are you're favourite anime fights in the series and movies you've watched. To kick off this topic, I'll give a list of some of my favourite anime fights I've seen up to this point. Oh also this entire threat might contain spoilers at least as far as specific match ups in series. So you've been warned. Okay so starting this list off are some of my personal favourite clashes in the Fate series. If I listed them all we'd be here forever so I'll just list off a couple I really enjoyed. Gilgamesh is one of the stand out characters in Fate. You either hate him or love him. For me perhaps his coolest fight so far was the one between him and Hercules seen in Fate Unlimited Blade Works. Saber vs Berserker in Fate Zero is also a really cool set of fights, both their first and last encounters. I especially like how the two are connected from their own legends and how that revelation plays well into Sabers own tragic tale in this series. Kirei vs Kiritsugu is another absolute badass fight in Zero, and really has been building up for the entire shows duration. So whilst it not a servant clash it one of the best magus fights in any of the shows I've seen so far. Okay perhaps the best fight in Unlimited Blade Works Archer vs Shirou. I can't get into the real reasons why these fights are so awesome but if you know you know and if you don't then watch the series. Saber Alters has two absolutely legendary fights in the movie trilogy for Heaven Feel. To call them peak animation is an understatement. But Alter vs Hercules and Alter vs Medusa are honestly some of the best fights I've seen. Okay moving away from Stay Night and Zero, Fate Extra opening battle between Nero and Buddha was also very well done. As was the later Gawain vs Nero fight. Which again was one of the stand out battles of that show. Okay so Fate/Apocrypha, again a few two many to count. So briefly I really liked the Astolfo vs Mordred fight towards the end of the first half. Alongside the Chiron vs Achilles fight also seen in the first part. Later we get Siegfried vs Karna, which is a very awesome fight sequence in the show. Personal favourite for Apocrypha has to go to Achilles and his fight with Chiron and also his fight with Atalanta. Achilles arch in the show was pretty well executed not sure if its cause he had several characters from his 'time period' his personal hero and his mentor to work off but Achilles and a lot of his fights really play into his overall character development which I liked. And finally the best fight I saw in the Camelot films between Gawain and Bedivere. This fight was full of clashing personalities and belief, and was excellent climax in the film. And even when limiting myself I still went overboard, well what can you do. Still I'm sure others can bring in fights from beyond Fate.

OK, so this question is going to be very unusual, so I apologize in advance, but I really need some creative ideas. As I've talked about here and there, I run game show events at anime conventions. For my most popular game, Press Your Luck, I do something a little strange to tie into it. Scattered around the board are different "prizes" that the contestant can win. However, most of these are not your typical prizes that you'd see on normal game shows. Instead, I went around the anime and video game worlds to see what things and places would make good "prizes" if they existed in real life. Some examples include: From Pokemon: Pokeballs, a Pokedex, and a Gyarados Sub From Sailor Moon: a Moon Transformation Wand, a Rainbow Crystal Pendant and a trip to Crystal Tokyo From One Piece: A Striker boat and a Going Merry Cruise From Mega Man: A Mega Buster and Roll's Maid Service for a week For my new series of shows, I want to look into some new "prize" ideas based on more recent anime and games, as I have not updated my prize list in 12 years. I'm long overdue. So the question is this: If any universe from all of anime and games existed IRL, what iconic items would you want to own from it? What exotic or crazy places from that universe would you want to visit on a trip? I hope you all can offer some ideas. I thank any and all of you in advance.

So, the past year or so I’ve noticed more anime movies (not just Ghibli) getting showings at nearby theaters. Granted, many were just a single showing on a weekday night, but was wondering if other members here had taken advantage and what they thought of the experience. For me, I saw the My Hero Academia movie & Promare and am planning to see the Konosuba movie in November. Sadly, I don’t really have any IRL friends who are into anime, but it’s still fun reacting along with everyone else to what’s happening on screen. And while the theaters hadn’t been packed it’s still drawn a decent audience, again given the strange show times.

The single most popular sport across all anime: Stalking. Defined as "Following someone else around without their permission" I defy you to find an anime where somebody ISN'T doing this. Team Rocket of of course is at the top of the game, having followed Ash and Pikachu since before most of Ash's friends were even alive. Basically the entire cast of Inuyasha is stalking somebody. Ditto for DBZ... Durarara... ALL ninjas are professional stalkers. Spies too. Seriously name one anime where this isn't a thing with somebody. I dare ya. I never ever watched anime till this day. My friend recommended me Nazo No Kanojo X. I have fallen in love with this anime and sadly, got scammed by ending and no more episodes. Is there an anime similar to Nazo No Kanojo X? No gore, super powers, must be in school and could be in hentai type.
