Mom let me buy another game since Immortals Fenyx Rising on Switch requires an internet connection and I didn't know that. Usually I look up if a game can only be played online like that on Switch or not before purchasing it, so that was a regrettable mistake. x.x The game mom let me buy was Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning which was on sale from the eShop for $15 and the DLC was only $5 or $6, so it was affordable. ^^ ^^ I was really looking forward to playing Fenyx, too. I'm still mad at myself for not doing my homework on the Switch release of that game before buying it from the eShop. x.x

It's really annoying when you buy something and when it arrives you find out it either doesn't do what you want or needs facilities that you don't have.  Very nice of your mum to let you buy a replacement game.

A workmate recently went to Hawaii and brought me back some coffee in bean form.  I have a cheap electric juicer that can function as a coffee grinder but it doesn’t produce consistent ground sizing.  Some of the coffee comes out as flour while some of the chunks are like quarter-bean size.  It also takes a while, which isn’t good for the coffee, and you have to clean it especially well afterwards or the juice starts tasting like coffee.

So to do things right I had to go and get a new coffee grinder.  Hand-crank so it takes a little work but it is ceramic and glass and easy to adjust for consistent ground size.  The coffee is good too.

I wholeheartedly agree. Not to mention the instant regret once you realize that about what you bought. x.x It was pretty nice of her though. ^^ ^^ She knows how important games are to me in order for me to escape reality, so she understands why I want to play them so badly. ^^ ^^

Pessi @Zeref got me these cute cards  The one with him in the red pants is made of acrylic and not a normal card type, and the other 2 are normal card types. They are all going to go on my Sasori wall

While mom and I were running errands today (Thursday until around the time it started to get dark when it was late) she let me get a $35 Nintendo eShop Gift Card which I was positive of which games I would get, but when we got home and after I redeemed the gift card because mom wanted to let me get a couple more games so I looked through the games that were on sale in the Nintendo eShop and I'd originally planned on getting CRYSTAR and Dragon Star Varnir which would've totaled out to somewhere around $30 or so, but when we got home at night on Thursday and I went to my Wish List in my Nintendo account I saw that Dragon Star Varnir was no longer on sale like it was yesterday. x.x HOWEVER!!! I ended up finding another game with playable heroines that was only $13 when CRYSTAR was around $17 and features a heroine trying to bring her sister back from the afterlife after she accidentally got her sister killed (which is similar to how I feel about Jackie... even if it isn't what happened, it's how I've felt for a long time now), so I'll be trying out CRYSTAR after checking my DA account for messages and after Apex Heroines - Silver Legend bundle which included the DLC Silver Legend which is a silver outfit for the protagonist(s) of the game (I also intend to get the Dark Legend DLC at some point for Apex Heroines because it provides a black outfit that looks pretty dark, but I can't afford it with my current remaining credits and btw Apex Legends is the 2nd game I found on sale after noticing Dragon Star Varnir wasn't on sale anymore) finishes downloading. Frankly I think the cost of Dragon Star Varnir being returned to its default price of $30 worked out for the better since I've always loved heroines of games, movies, and anything else that tells a good story and has a woman protagonist (or several), so I really do think it worked out for the better~~~ ^^ ^^ ^^ The Dark Legend outfit DLC for Apex Heroines might've been too dark though for the game, but the Silver Legend outfit DLC does at least provide a DLC outfit that won't be based on grieving. ^^ ^^ ^^ So it's probably for the better that I bought that bundle when buying Apex Heroines. ^^ ^^ ^^ I've only got $2 of credit left in my Nintendo account, so I'm glad mom let me get a $35 gift card instead of a $20 gift card. ^^ ^^ ^^ I know these 2 games will be really fun because I love playing as a heroine and taking down enemies, no matter what kind of enemies they may be. ^^ ^^ ^^ So, it's definitely lifted my mood for tonight, that's for sure~~~ ^^ ^^ ^^

There is the Sasori poster that I designed/made myself, Sasori acrylic standees, Naruto & Boruto x Sanrio characters mini postcard posters, Gaara card + Sakura/Ino/Gaara stickers, Sasori cards, Sasori acrylic cards, Sasori can badges, Sasori stickers.
Some of this I bought and some Pessi @Zeref Bought for me as gifts

I got some Yu-Gi-Oh! cards from @Sakura that arrived in the mail Wednesday~~ ^^ ^^ ^^ The cards that she sent me were:

The 3 Egyptian God Cards in Effect Monster form that I think are allowed to be used in actual Duels, Dark Magician (the one with a purple robe that has red trimming), and Doma the Angel of Silence. Back when my big sister was still alive and she was living with us (us being mom, the creep that she married, and me, which was a REALLY awesome time that I'm glad I remember~) she told me at one point that she liked dark fairies, so I gave her the only dark fairy that I had which was the Yu-Gi-Oh! card Doma the Angel of Silence to give her something from me that would remind her of me and since it was a Dark attribute Fairy card and the only thing I had that was a dark fairy of any kind. I don't know if she kept it where she knew it was all the time or she lost it, but I hope she put it somewhere safe after I gave her that card. Even if she didn't, it'd be pretty easy to lose a Yu-Gi-Oh! card, but giving her that card was also a way for me to do something nice for her in the only way I could. ^^ ^^ ^^ Seeing that card with the other cards that @Sakura sent me in the mail made me smile and reminded me of that day I wanted to do something nice tor big sis' in the only way I really could when it came to giving her something. ^^ ^^ ^^ I'm glad she's safe now though and nobody can hurt her anymore. Every day I miss her all over again, so now I can look at the Doma the Angel of Silence card and think of my big sister. < 3

I added the Doma card because I remember you had said you had given one to your sister a long time ago and wouldn't ever be able to get it back again because of the guy, so I thought you might like to have one again in honor of her. I had hoped it would make you happy and not sad so I was kinda iffy on if I should include it or not, but I'm glad you liked it!

It really brought a lot of warmth to my day when these days seem to be absent of such a feeling most times, so I was truly grateful that you included Doma.  < 3 Now I can remember the time when I wanted to do something for big sis' that really was all I was able to do at the time since I really wanted to give her something that I thought she'd like. ^^ ^^ ^^ I'll never be able to come up with the right words to express just how thankful I am for it~~ ^^ ^^ ^^

The latest things I got I ordered from Amazon which were Final Fantasy VII: On the Way to a Smile (which is a book that has information about what happens after the original game, but before the Advent Children movie. I only need the original story, I don't want to buy the FFVII Remake and then have to buy 2 more just to finish the same story. Oh, and I bought The Last Remnant Remastered for my Switch which I'm not positive, but I think it's only available in the eShop. I've got the guide for the original one, but I never got to use it because apparently I sold it before I ever got to play it. >< >< >< >< The guide refers to Xbox button controls, but I just needed to write where which button would be on the Switch on a page of notebook paper which has apparently made the the buttons the guide refers to a lot easier to interpret to my Switch's controls. It's an AWESOME game!!!! There's a big brother in it whose little sister was kidnapped who he's trying to find and save. It's kind of how it felt when Jackie was trapped in a toxic relationship with one of the creepiest and vile scum of the Earth guys that I've ever heard of who was, unfortunately, the guy she had to try to get away from which she shortly died after doing so and coming to live with us... It really felt like she was held captive by that guy since he was so abusive... So, at least in The Last Remnant Remastered I can at least imagine being able to save my sister when she was taken from us. It's a fun game. In a lot of ways it reminds me of Final Fantasy XII. Its graphics are GORGEOUS!!!! I'm really glad I still have the guide to that game since a remastered game is basically just the same game with some enhancements instead of a remake. It's my new favorite game. ^^ ^^ ^^ ^^ Well, at least lately. I guess I've got a lot of favorite games. ^^; ^^; ^^; ^^;

Got a handful of space-related pins today.  Included were items for Psyche, Ingenuity, the Cold Atom Lab, Odyssey, and Neowise missions.

Psyche is the one currently en-route to the metal asteroid of the same name.  It is carrying a laser-based communications experiment and was launched about a year ago towards a rendezvous with 16 Psyche in 2029 after a flyby of Mars for a gravity-assist.

Ingenuity is of course the helicopter / drone that has been the aerial companion for the Perseverance Mars Rover for the past several years.  It recently damaged a rotor on landing so its flying days are over but it's intact and its electronics functional so it'll be sending meteorological data and images from its final landing site until its solar panels dust over and it goes the way of the Spirit and Opportunity rovers.

The Cold Atom Lab is an experiment that was carried on board the ISS for a while to study BECs or Bose-Einstein Condensates, an odd state of matter that forms when certain type of atoms get extremely cold and merge their quantum states together.

Mars Odyssey is one of the oldest Mars orbiters still functioning.  It is one of the key relay satellites for the mars rovers on the surface and the pin is commemorating its 100,000th orbit of Mars.

Neowise is an end-of-life mission that was designed to identify and categorize NEO asteroids and comets.  NEO stands for Near Earth Orbit and NEOWISE identified over 150,000 of them during its service life.  NEO objects are of interest because they are the easiest to get to for scientific study and they're the most likely to be the ones to be able to cause harm by impacting the Earth.

My latest acquisition is this novel "The Hikikomori". It's a really interesting story and a good read about a young girl named Miko who as a result of  some bad experiences retreats into her room and becomes a hikikomori and how a simple situation forces her to go out of her apartment where a chance encounter throws her fully into the world once more.
