My dad knows I like Miku & Kaito and brought me some cute stuff today ~ The Miku's are metal bookmarks and the Kaito thingy is a button pin ＼(^ω^＼) I love the bookmarks I think they are really pretty :3

I have achieved a longtime dream of mine.

Ever since I was a kid I have always longed to have a brand.new.couch.

Not a new-to-me couch, not a used couch, I mean brand.fucking.new.

 

For me, brand new furniture (couches in particular) has always been one of my personal definitions of success. I grew up in a poor, dirty, smokers house (yes, my entire family smoked cigarettes INSIDE the house, for many many years) where all the furniture was either well used hand me downs or scavenged from somewhere for cheap or free. Always used, and wouldn’t take long for them to start smelling like cigarettes, animals, and sweaty logger.

 

The first furniture dream I achieved was a super long time ago when I was able to buy my first ever brand new mattress.

 

AND YESTERDAY I HAVE ACHIEVED ANOTHER FURNITURE DREAM OF SUCCESS.

THAT’S RIGHT BITCHES, I’M NOW THE PROUD OWNER OF A BRAND.FUCKING.NEW COUCH

Okay, so technically it’s a loveseat, BUT IT STILL COUNTS because it fits our space perfectly and is a real nice piece of furniture!!!!

 

I’m giddy as fuck and I have no idea what to do with myself. I want to go home and sit on my couch. I must fart on it, claim it as my own. And ya know, watch tv and play video games and socialize and whatever I guess.

 

Oh yeah and also, not sure if the sales lady found Andy cute as fuck or something (I mean, I certainly think he’s cute as fuck), but he somehow also managed to score not only a free soundbar (with subwoofer), but also a free rug and runner set with the purchase of the couch???

 

The couch wasn’t supposed to arrive until Saturday, but it showed up yesterday so Andy and his friend brought it home and set it up before I even got home yesterday. Once I got home I rearranged the living room and setup the sound bar hehehehe

Still need to put down the new rug, but I want to wait until after our dinner on Saturday so that it doesn’t get ruined immediately by someone spilling something on it. Plus, I need to wash the floors and I don’t feel like doing that until this weekend anyway haha

My sister gave me these super cute Cherry Blossom Miku acrylic stands, Kaito acrylic stand, and Kaito button today  They will be added to the Vocaloid shelf when I get home ~ which I will also take some pics of.

Sometimes I wish there was a shop near me that sold anime merch and similar stuff, most times my wallet is glad there isn't .

There used to be a shop nearish where I worked in central London, but it moved to a new location and the new shop wasn't as good and wasn't as easy to get to

Cha like @Sasuke said though I mostly order online on places like Mercari where people are selling anime merch that you can't really find anywhere else & now you can even order from Japanese sellers soooo that's where my money goes lol
