Midnight Faolan Posted June 26, 2016 Share Posted June 26, 2016 I know it seems like such an odd topic but I have had a bit of a crush on my boss for awhile. Like, even before he became my boss. I work in a mall, and his store was next to the old place I worked at. I just love his personality and he's good looking. He's not like famous-person "good looking" but maybe you know what I mean. He isn't a bad looking guy. He's really cool but he's like 26 years old and I'm 17. And I think he has a girlfriend right now but they've been fighting lately so I actually don't know if he's single or not. Even if he was, I don't think I would go for it because that would be weird to me! I can't imagine dating my boss, it's just weird. So all I can really do is sit back and not care! Kinda funny too though because my step dad was friends with my parents when my parents were still together. My mum didn't even really have an interest until she really got to know him though. If you set boundaries and make sure you read the company policies some have them and you don't want to get fire if you break them. If possible I would suggest not letting everyone know about the relationship some people can be envious of your lust. None the less humans can not chain down the feelings of affection to another but you can definitely be the captain of your own ship and navigate into his arms. If you ever do go for it. And most of my crushes were on good friends that I began hanging with outside of work. I've dated two fellow employees, my first "love," his name was Jacob. And it ended very poorly and it actually ended up turning out alright because he ended up moving to Arkansas not long after I split. But the few weeks before he moved, it was pretty awkward. He even still made passes at me. Which made my work environment uncomfortable. The second was actually the man I married. I met him at my job. And despite everyone's warnings, I hooked up with him. We worked together for about a year before he got fired. And it made my job miserable, actually. Lol He was constantly jealous and starting arguments/scenes at my job. If I could redo those moments, I would have just stayed away from both. I feel like your work place shouldn't be clouded with your outside affairs. I mean, some people meet their soulmates at their jobs, I'm sure. But I just couldn't ever do it again. It also makes it hard when you end up being around a person 24/7.
