  1. It's always sad when a favorite game ends! I hope you can find a new favorite that you enjoy just as much. That's a great idea! They can be like the Sleeping Knights from SAO, going from one game to another and enjoying the adventures together.
  2. That's so awesome! I always wish I was one of the people who grew up with anime such as Naruto, Ruroni Kenshin, and Inuyasha. Though I can't imagine how hard it would be for Naruto to end after watching it since your childhood, it was hard enough for me when it ended after I binge-watched the entire series.
  3. Well if you're ever having a hard day just shoot me a message!
  4. @BurnsyCEOThe genetic part of my illnesses is Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, it's a connective tissue disorder. Since connective tissues are in everything it also causes other disorders, so I also have dysautonomia, fibromyalgia, and chronic urticaria. I was diagnosed with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease earlier this year, but I'm hoping that will be reversed soon since I've been on a strict diet since June. when I was a child I was diagnosed with asthma, auditory processing disorder, and sensory processing disorder. It's amazing how much a connective tissue disorder can affect. It sounds like you're no longer in depression? That's good to hear! Depression is hell. I'm thankful my medicine is mostly managing mine now. After my medicine started helping I was shocked by how many more emotions I was feeling, especially while watching my favorite anime. That makes sense about DBZ. I love Naruto and One Piece, though I'm not even two hundred episodes into One Piece due to seasonal anime and shiny new anime finds that I binge watch. lol @Yaoi_army707 Wow, that started out cute and I was thinking it was just like how I got my sisters hooked on anime (with SAO). But that's sad. I'm so sorry for your loss! I had a friend die when I was six and it was really hard, and truth be told she liked my sisters not me, yet it haunted me for years. I can't imagine losing a true friend. I hope you're doing okay; I'm happy you at least have SAO and anime as a way to remember them. @BeocatThat's amazing that you learned to read so early on! My oldest sister learned to read about that age as well. I have similar feelings about stories due to my circumstances, it's so hard when a story ends, I get really upset. For that reason I almost solely listen to music with lyrics, because I like the story the lyrics tell.
  5. Would you rather try dorayaki or mizu yokan? This question is sponsored by my rather hungry stomach.
  6. Thanks for being so supportive and kind! I see you're from India, that's so cool!

What are some of your other favorite anime?

In my defense, I have watched a number of anime more than once. Baccano, DBZ, Kara no kyoukai, angel beats, High school of the dead, death note code geass (3 times)...... I'd still come up short of course.

Death note is a psychological thriller and not at all creepy and if you love it if a battle of wits or anything related to murder mystrey is something you enjoy. The first couple of episodes itself blow you away with the genius writing.

But it's funny that you don't like creepy stuff. I love it in the anime's I watch and games I play.Makes me feel something intense I don't feel in everyday life. Not so much in movies tho they're just damn scary.

I know what you mean about rewatching anime, it's always so hard wanting to balance watching a new series and wanting to rewatch a favorite! I'm one of those people that when I like something, be it a book, music, or anime, I want to enjoy it over and over again.

That sounds really different than I imagined it to be, I'll have to try it soon and let you know what I think! I have this hard to define fine line of what creeps me out or not. It's weird, because when I was little I always wanted to watch scary movies, and they almost never scared me, but that changed as I got older. Kinda backwards of how it usually works. lol

I get that, that's what it used to be like for me! I think maybe that changed when one of my conditions made it so that spikes in emotions, especially adrenaline, will make my muscles go out and I fall and can't move. What kinda creepy games do you like? My younger sister likes to watch a lot of gaming videos online, there's one creepy one she really likes to watch videos of, Five Nights at Freddy's.

Never heard of people going backwards about being scared haha.  I played the dead space games, resident evil 5/7, alien isolation, dying light,SOMA,FEAR 3, The Evil within 2 and this hella cool visual novel called doki doki literature club (I'd love for you to play it if you can handle it.Read nothing about it before you start!).

I too watch a couple of streamers play. Especially horror games but I'd watch almost anything they play.

  7. Oh, I didn't mean for it to be depressing! I have that problem a lot, I'll tell someone something and I don't think anything of it because I accept it and it has helped me become who I am today, but they find it sad. Sorry! You are awesome for saying that it would be dumb to tell me to get well. You don't know how often chronically ill people are asked "are you better yet?" even after explaining the chronic part. So your understanding means a lot! And you're right, I can live a happy fulfilling life. I focus on doing what I can, enjoying the things I like, and taking things one day at a time. If it makes you feel better my cardiologist put me on a new medicine a month and a half ago and it's really made a big difference! I'm hoping it will continue to help me as it has been, and if it does that will open up opportunities like maybe a part-time job. I've been wanting to watch DBZ! I haven't yet since it's a long series and there are so many of them I need to watch. I'm currently watching One Piece, which I love, but I keep getting distracted by new flashy anime and haven't watched it in awhile. I watched Inuyasha earlier this year and I love it! I've now gotten one of my sisters hooked on it as well. I still need to watch Bleach.
  8. I hate those nights! For me, they are usually caused by anxiety or health complications. I remember one time I had a sleepless night due to pain (I had a torn tendon) and anxiety about the doctor appointment I had the upcoming morning. I did not sleep at all. What made it worse was that the doctor appointment I was having anxiety about? It was just as bad as I had been worried about. I was miserable so afterwards I just got a doughnut from my favorite local place. Though the pain didn't stop there. I was told to take Aleeve. Which I did, and it ended up causing me to have gallbladder attacks for a week, such terrible pain. Sometimes when I'm so sick I'm delirious and feverish in bed unable to move but also unable to sleep, and those times I usually just have a movie on repeat to help get me through it. However, the method I have found most helpful is if you can't sleep is to get up for a bit, do something distracting, and then go back to bed. Studies show if you can't sleep but you keep laying in bed that it will actually just keep you awake longer. So sleep specialist recommend if you can't fall asleep within 20-40 minutes to get up and do something else for a bit.
  9. All of us love anime, but what made each of us get into it and become so passionate about it? I have faulty genetics, so I've always been rather sickly, and once I was eight my health gradually went down every year. At that age it started with being sick in bed 3-6 months at a time one or two times a year. So I would read, play video games, and watch TV while I rested. For the longest time I just watched whatever I could find on TV, I didn't really care for a lot of American cartoons so I would mostly watch things like Food Network, DIY channel, HGTV, etc. When I was about fourteen I started getting into the art style of anime thanks to Mark Crilley but I hadn't actually watched any. My family had objections so I had to reluctantly drop it. Eventually, I tried a little RUBY, which at the time I wasn't sure if it was anime or an American anime style show (I now know), I watched all of it since I was bored but didn't like due to the art. Tried a little Eureka Seven but I got bored just a couple episodes in so I didn't finish it until a few years later. Finally, I found Sword Art Online 2.5-3 years ago. I was instantly drawn to the gaming element. I loved the characters. Season two especially drew me in, because at the time I had PTSD like Sinon and I'm also chronically ill like Yuuki. Watching it was really therapeutic, to see other characters dealing with similar things as me. I loved how the Sleeping Knights gamed to deal with their illnesses, as an escape, because that's what I've done my whole life. After that we had a move and I was without internet for months which was torture and really made my depression even worse than it had been, so once I got internet back I dove into anime to help me deal with my emotions, to feel something other than the depression, and to find characters I could relate to. Anime really has helped me. Along with helping me with my health and my depression it also gives me a way to spend time with my sisters and some of my friends. So, that's my story. What is yours?
  10. I just learned my newest hedgie baby doesn't like the vacuum cleaner. Poor darling, I think plenty of cuddles are in order.

September 2015 I got my first hedgehog, May of the next year I was given two more, and then a couple weeks ago I was given Nyx. My first hedgehog, Thimble, was given to me by my sister as a gift. The second two (Wendy and Tauriel/Trill) the breeder could no longer keep and she called and asked if I could take them. And the fourth, Nyx, a close friend wanted to know if we would like her, because due to circumstances she could no longer give Nyx enough attention.

Nawh, well, I can confirm that I am jealous of you now xD

Mainly because I can't look after pets, because of work and whatnot.

Nether the less, don't spoil little Nyx to much xD Don't want her to grow up being too greedy ;)

@Xyro There were a couple years I couldn't have pets and that was hard, I understand your struggle. At least you can find a lot of cute pet videos on Youtube. ;)

Oh believe me, Nyx's previous owner spoiled her long ago. lol

  11. I'm very particular about music, and that was kinda... grating to my brain. (blush) Sorry! It's rare for me to find music I like, it's troublesome. So for me that would be 1/10, but I'm sure it's a great song for other people! Here's one that's really calming for my brain:
  12. I'm happy to hear you've not been feeling as down lately! I have depression, so I can empathize on how hard it is to deal with those emotions or lack of any emotions. It can be hard to get motivated some days, but you can do it! Please keep us updated!
  13. Your signature, avatar, and cover photo are all too adorable!

That's so cool! Mind sharing what kind of effect it had on your life?

It really is! I actually bought the album a couple weeks ago because it just has such a wonderful effect on my brain. I listen to it all the time.

That's good to know! Look forward to seeing you when you are online.

It's a long extremely personal story. Short version: I was able to make some EXTREMELY DIFFICULT changes in my life because of the profound effect it had on me.

That's amazing! I really love how much of an effect anime can have, I have anime that have helped me in that way too. I'm happy it helped you!

  14. Yes! Doubles separated by distance but fated to feel the others' pain.
  15. I hadn't heard of Is The Order A Rabbit until @Yamasan recommended it. I just finished the third episode and it's really cute! Engaged to the Unidentified is always a really sweet, funny, and cute one to watch. I'm also watching the three you mentioned this season, though not today.
  16. @AniMeFReaK none of that really seems weird! I have asthma, too, but unlike you I'm terrible at sports. I'm currently recovering from an asthma attack and breathing treatment, actually.
  17. Love BabyMetal, thought that's not one of my favorites. 8/10
  18. Thank you! I am really enjoying myself, it's wonderful to have a community to enjoy chatting with. And finding people who know just as much about anime as me is great. Not the pudding! Pudding is a must. There must be retribution for this!
  19. I'm having more depression today so I'm spending a lot of time watching anime, and I'm focusing on happier ones. Currently rewatching the final episode of Engaged to the Unidentified and then I'm going to start Is the Order a Rabbit. What about everyone else?
  20. Thank you for the welcome! I must say you got me curious by calling yourself the most annoying member. lol I look forward to getting to know you!
  21. @Beocat Wow, that sounds cold! At least you can participate in the forums while there.
  22. @ItsSammy It's so nice to meet someone else who is a complete utter fangirl! Your memory sounds amazing! I like to remember those details, but my memory sucks so I'm always having to quiz myself on them so I can try to remember. The height one is funny. Two of the things I like to remember are birthdays and favorite foods.
  23. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!
  24. 1. I was homeschooled. 2. I have a daily vlog. 3. When thinking or stressed I have a habit of making my short hair stick straight up. 4. i've never been healthy enough to have a job; though I'm always looking for ways to improve my health so that I can hopefully get one soon. Finding the right specialists and medicines to help is making a big difference! 5. I have four hedgehogs, three of which were given to me since people knew I would give them all the love and care they needed.
