  1. So did mine! Also, I've got some in pretty bad shape from moving them around and retacking (and general carelessness), so I plan on framing all of my posters from now on. My room is small so I've got some dedicated shelf space instead. Quite a few VHS tapes are in storage and I've got a couple Nausicaä posters, an Utena poster, and an Only Yesterday movie poster, but I still need to get some frames before I'll put them up. I don't have any figures since I don't understand the appeal; 2D is where it's at for me I guess
  2. I just really got into it today. Of course there's a big difference between playing this and the 3ds games, but I still haven't gotten used to how elaborate the environments are; it's a sensory overload.
  3. I just started Monster Hunter: World today. I've always used great swords in past games so I decided to switch things up and go with dual blades this time, and I named my character accordingly.
  4. ^It helped inspire me to start writing. 8/10 Chobits
  5. A long time ago, back when I didn't even know it was Japanese. The only ones I remember from then were Pokémon, Digimon, and this Puss in Boots adaptation.
  6. 334 completed entries on MAL for me, mostly in the last 3 years.
  7. Are you making a “Top 10” list or something similar?
  8. Most of the time I'll only pick up manga if I really liked the anime adaptation, though sometimes I break that rule if a story only has one or two volumes, Solanin would be a good example of that. I'm also a sucker for hardcover releases and box sets.
  9. That sounds good, especially if you prefer reading a physical book rather than scans. And figures are much more expensive from what I've seen.
  10. 1. Neon Genesis Evangelion 2. Berserk '97 3. Cardcaptor Sakura
  11. Do you have a favorite Clow Card?
  12. That's great that you could write 37 pages in just a few days! I've been turning over a story in my head since high school and I only have a document of rough notes and a few pages of prose to show for it; I keep telling myself that if I wait to write stuff down I can think things over more and make it better, but it's slow going.
  13. ^Once that one gets in my head, it doesn't go away until I go to bed! For me, the one that I most often have playing in my head, at least when there's no music playing out loud, is "A Cruel Angel's Thesis" (big surprise right). And thanks to the Netflix adaptation "Devilman no Uta" has also wormed its way into my brain quite frequently.
  14. One choice is impossible- The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger Watership Down by Richard Adams The Good Earth by Pearl S. Buck The Mysterious Stranger by Mark Twain A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess Lord of the Flies by William Golding Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card Of Human Bondage by W. Somerset Maugham The Monk by Matthew Lewis
  15. The 2nd generation Pokémon games and Dark Souls. Pokémon has lost a lot of its luster, but there's just something about 2nd gen that makes it the most replayable out of all generations. As for Dark Souls, I tried it out because I heard it being compared to Berserk, but it became my favorite, even more so than Pokémon ever was. I haven't played either of them in several months though, and I just got started on a visual novel kick (Tsukihime currently) so it's probably going to change.
  16. These are a couple of gems that always come to mind when I think of Asuka and Rei.
  17. Verrry hard question. If I only had a split second to answer and I was only limited to one choice, Charizard will always have the top spot on my list. That Base Set card is still my favorite! What are some books you could read over and over again without getting tired of them?
