I actually disagree with a few of your opinions, but that is the whole nature of this post lol - The entire anime adaptation of Tokyo Ghoul is a dumpster fire. Read the manga. - I didn't think Kobayashi's Maid Dragon was all that great. It was just moe bait and a source of meh anime memes. ( I dropped it four episodes in) - Grand Blue's anime adaptation is a let down and is inferior to the manga in every way ( It's nice to see everyone animated and voiced though)

Yeah, I absolutely agree with you. It's the reality of the medium and it's almost unavoidable at this point for a lot of genres (There are of course outliers, but they're still outliers!) Nowadays, it's all about the execution of the cliché. Can the show execute it with grace or will it be done in a half-assed fashion? Unfortunately, the latter seems to prevail, but there are shows that display clichés done well.

Song was a bit lack luster in my opinion, that said, the visuals were really cool! 5/10 Cross Game - Summer Rain

I haven't played an Assass game since Black Flag. I've been burned out of the franchise for the past few years. That being said, Odyssey looks pretty neato. I love the aesthetic of Greece and the characters look interesting from what I've seen. I also saw how the combat and gameplay has been revamped which entices me to an extent. I can't say I'll be buying the upcoming game, but I'm at the very least interested in it.

Alien Isolation is absolutely horrifying and the new R6 Season so far has been a blast! Edit: Whoops, wrong thread, but oh well. Alien Isolation is pretty damn great so far, too bad I'm a big puss with these type of games.

Kind of an update, been busy with school, so I'm still slowly progressing through Noble Works. I have 3 routes down, three more to go!

Kinda what was stated already, anything that you enjoy or find interesting in never a bad idea. That said, I think some of the most entertaining doujin I've read have been Gintama ones. Lots of creative freedom with Gintama from what I've seen.
