  1. This post game is fun. Basically each person continues the count till we reach the number listed in this case 1,000 is the ending number. I have played it tons of times before, but didn't see it posted here. So lets have some fun. You can include a short message with your number to keep things interesting. Also how you write out the numbers is up to you, but good to keep an on exactly what number we're on I've miscounted in the past more so near the end. Just putting that out there. Happy counting. 1
  2. Fair enough, I rather enjoyed it. Fairy Tail being one of the few mainstram series I enjoy. Though I get where your cumming from. For me I liked the first 6 seasons. Those were the earlier more funny ones with more charm. Season 7 is where things went down hill.
  3. Ya Rave Master was guilty of just stopping abruptly like many series in anime terms with a much longer manga. So what dose everyone think of Fairy Tail? I ask because like Naruto it has stood test of time, and literally changed as time passed all be it not at the same magnitude being a bit shorter.
  4. Your Lie in April is very good series. My partner had me watch it. I was hesitant at first, but I certainly see the attractiveness to it. Same I have largely been paying more attention to the newer one's on my own, but my partner, and I just finished Rave Master which is a bit older being the predecessor to Fairy Tail.
  5. Oh gosh I can't wait for this either looks amazing from what I see here.
  6. One thing that has changed throughout the ages especially in the 2010s, and going strong for the 2020s is the aditude as well as stigma surrounding anime. It has become far far more widly accepted even from people that do not really get into it. This is shown in a lot of dubs that get released. Even though I do not care for dubs they do have a place, and some people like them. One thing they are good for though seems to be gauging where the industry is headed outside Japan. it is also a good way to see how the camunity reacts to it as weell. One thing I focus on when trying to get an idea of this is the amount of censorship in the dub, or outside Japan manga release. Nowa days you rarely see censorship of anime. This is why I favor the newer more modern series.
  7. if Northpole is cold wouldn't that mean that Southpole is more cold and that life can barely survive there.?! If pi is equal to ______ then the area of a snare is ________?
  8. Hi there Greeneyes hows it going. I saw you had a thread about anime suggestions. I found several good series from it. Wanted to thank you for that. You must spend a lot of time watching anime then.

  9. I like how you layed that out. I would agree with you completely. While 90s anime is what started me off, and there will always be gems like DBZ, Yugioh, and Yu Yu Hakusho out there I tend to favor the newer stuff. I said in my first post that 2014 was kinda the cut off in terms of areas. This is just when I notice the big shift in art style along with theme, and direction most anime takes. There is odiously plenty of amazing anime series from 2012 for example, and even going back to 08. One from 08 that I feel was one of the ;era hevy conflict focused of the era was Shakugan no Shana. It was kinda mix of magical, and Shonen which I really liked. Plus it was on the tail end of the long running series era. What anime art style from the more recent stuff would you say is your favorite then?
  10. Hi guys I was wondering on something, and wanted to talk about this topic. What kinda anime to dose every gravitate to. Do you like older 90s early 2000s anime, or newer series from 2014 to present. In my case I am on both sides of the spectrum. I love the newer series, and spring/summer 2018 for anime has been amazing. Though I also really like classics like dbz, Yu Yu Hakusho, and Yugioh DM. What about you guys.

    Manga vs Anime

DBZ Kai is a good example of anime remade during the area when the industry started to respond to the majoruty view that filler is a waste of time. Even though fillers purpose was to allow the manga of the same series to release on a similar schedule to the anime. In the case of series like DBZ, Yugioh Duel Monsters, Inuyasha, and Naruto the filler is so woven in to the original series that it almost feels odd without it. Almost like the manga is telling a different story even though it isn't. DBZ Kai, FMA Brotherhood, and a host of others from the area tried to remove this filler. On one hand it worked, but on the other it just felt weird. I would suggest in cases like Naruto, and One Piece given the length of the series to use a watch guide. As you were saying. Those series are just to long, and saturated to fully watch even if you were taking filler out of the picture they'd still be very long series.
  12. Looks like a pretty good story. I like the title it made me laugh. This will be something I'll be looking into. I don't read many LNs, or novels of any description. I do wanna try getting into them more.
  13. Discord is what you make of it I say. I have one, but I agree the large servers are simply to fast for me. Can't get any meaningful convo in. Though I have found if you caa find a good moderate sized one then you can have a good time. They also tend to be far more topic based unlike a forum like this. I think Discord can be really good for private chats like using it instead of skype, or teamspeak. Nice very nice. What others have you done, and what other art programs do you like?
  14. Ahh I see well whatever works for you is what you should go with. I have seen that with plex it seems not to like android as much. I don't use plex anymore though. I used to, but it just got to be to much work when other apps like vlc player work just as well for far less effort. I do understand how plex works, and how to configure it for both home servers, and NAS servers, but I think its just to much when it comes to how your media file structure needs to be. For the amount of work you need to do just to view some files a certain way, and over your network isn't worth it to me. Plus their privacy policy isn't clear. I have read they have started to record more data then they need to develop updates for their software. Some information just isn't needed such as personal media info. I understand they are saying they are using this for trending reports, but still dose not sit right with me.
  15. Yes I have finished several now with the one outlier being Clanned, and that was a while ago.
  16. Yah the RetroPI like most of those kits are mostly for bragging rights for the most part. Thats good you got those on the mobile platform So speaking of the mobile stuff what do you think of the Note 9. Apparently it has AI with the camera for better accuracy that the S9 dose not have not to mention a very good battery.
  17. I honestly have not played any games today, but I did watch a stream of Mario RPG on Twotch earlier this morning.
  18. I agree with you on that storage mindset. Though the acusal amount of avaible storage you can use largely depends on the OS you use because each OS addresses it differently depending on how it is formatted. I currently play a lot of retro games from old consoles on my pc with emulator software such as Project64, Dalphin which is a GC/Wii game emulator. PSX/PSX2 is for playstion, and PS2. There are of course many others. I don't need a PI by any means with my setup, but it would be a fun project. It would be awesome just seeing it work too. To answer your other question though I'd say my favorite retro series is smt, and Mario rpg, paper mario, and paper mario thousand year door. RPGs are by far my favorite type of game. My favorite console line both retro, and new though has to be PS line due to the large amount of jrpgs. I'd say another game I like even more then those is Kingdom Hearts. How about you. What would you wanna play on the retropi?

    Manga vs Anime

That is the main thing that keeps me away from a lot of so called mainstream anime series. It tends to get over saturated with filler even in only a part of the episode sometimes. Naruto is another big offender of this even in the newest series even though from what I heard there is quite a bit less.
  20. True that anything in 4K is very large, and hard to store on any storage device. Though more recently we have had 10-12TB individual hdds cumming to the consumer market to help with this. Even the WD Gold enterprise drives go for just over $300 a pop which is a lot, but not really when you consider all your getting. As far as RasberryPIs go I personally want to do the RetroPI, and MintiPI devices which are basicly retro game emulator boxes.
  21. Thats ok gotta do what you can. Ya there are a lot of RaspberryPI has so many different things out now it has become its own standard.
  22. Yes I fully agree in nearly every situation I prefer to do my own coding. Web programing is one of my specialties compared to other app development. I like php, and mysql because they are open source. Also for the most part they are way friendlier then Microsoft's alternatives. So do you do anything from hardware like building your own system or other dyi projects like RasburryPI.
  23. Nah don't be sorry I get what your getting at don't want to risk your idea publicity. What other things tech wise do you like doing. Nice thats awesome. I love love love Adobe software. I am very skilled with PS, DW, IA, and a little in Flash. What about you, and which is your favorite?
  24. Thanks for following me. :). By the way I saw you posted in the tech thread about programing. What kinda programing have you done.

      That’s good.

I just hope DQ 11 will be easy to play. I saw gameplay footage of the Japanese release and the jumping mechanic makes me think that I will need a dual shock 4, when I had preordered the game on Steam, because PlayStation controllers are now the only controllers I am comfortable with.

What about the Steam Controller though

I am not sure. It looks kind of big, and I cannot find it in stores as a demo to really try it, so I would need to buy it to even evaluate it, though it is said the Steam controller is pretty much functionally the same as the dual shock 4, since that was how Steam could add the support for the dual shock 4.

My problem is that I only have one hand, which is why modern games give me trouble and I stick with games like The Sims, VNs, and turn based RPGs, even though I kind of used to hate turn based RPGs when I was playing my PS2 actively because Rogue Galaxy felt more fun than SaGa 2 and the like.
