@Mongrel Slayers Try - afraid it's been a long time since I've watched it. If memory serves they are treated mainly as villains initially, but as the story progresses some of them become heroes. Jillas is the main one who comes to mind Inukai from Flying Witch - I think she was only the focus in a single episode, but made appearances in 3 or 4. Her appearance varies from fully canine to fully human and a transitional form depending on the time of day One more series I'll mention as a possibility is Ushio & Tora. Besides the secondary title character, there are a number of yokai with animal characteristics. Though it may be debatable whether his appearance is anthromorphic or demonic

The stand out series had to be A Place Further than the Universe & Yuru Camp for me. Other notables: Golden Kamuy, Megalobox, Planet With, & Asobi Asobase

The closest match I can think of is Grimoire of Zero (not to be confused with Familiar of Zero) A Centaur's Life to variable extents Nanachi from Made in the Abyss might qualify but she's more of a chimera (a mixture of different animals & a human) Merle from Vision of Escaflowne Beastmen were pretty prominent in Slayers Try Inukai from Flying Witch, though the extent depends on the time of day The lizard men from Overlord season 2 (the first 4 eps or so focused almost entirely on their culture)& Reincarnated as a Slime Many yokai on Gegege no Kitaro have animal characteristics (Ratman & Catchick to a lesser extent but also characters like tengu & tanuki) Many more than I have time to list As much as there is often some animosity between "furries" and other "otaku", it's actually a fairly common trope in anime

I think I made it to around episode 6 of Black Clover. While I'm not opposed to watching more or it someday, it's nowhere near the top of my list. It looks like most of the series you listed are isekai or at least fantasy world inspired. You might want to check out the currently airing Rise of the Shield Hero, though I have mixed feeling about it at the moment. The final season of Fairy Tail too. There's also Radiant, but I dropped it after about 3 episodes because it's pretty generic. Some older series I would recommend from the genre include: GATE, Claymore & Broken Blade. I haven't watched Saiki K, but seems to be a comedy with psychic powers, so maybe check out Mob Psycho 100, Hinamatsuri and Zombieland Saga. Finally, some personal recent faves that don't have much in common with the series you listed SoL/Healing: My Roommate is a Cat, Yuru Camp, A Place Further than the Universe, As Miss Beelzebub Likes Comedy/Parody: Asobi Asobase, Konosuba, Ms. Kobayashi's Dragonmaid Sports: Hinamaru Sumo, Megalobox Scifi: Space Battleship Yamato 2199 & 2202, Planet With Shonen: My Hero Academia, Ushio & Tora Romcom: Recovery of an MMO Junkie, ReLIFE (make sure to watch the OVA aka eps 14 - 17) Hard to classify: Golden Kamuy, Beautiful Bones

Zombie land Saga. I lmao at the 1st ep. While it never quite reached that level of humor again, there were also some emotional moments through out and it was still entertaining. Needs a follow up season/movie/OVA though

Some series I’ve recently watched on Netflix and found enjoyable: Little Witch Academia, Sirius the Jaeger, 7 Deadly Sins, Kakegurui. I also noticed that they have Soul Eater, which I enjoyed except the ending was anticlimactic. Series in my queue I haven’t seen but that have a good reputation: Magica Madoka, Ajin. I don’t have Hulu or Prime anymore, but some series I enjoyed previously on them Prime: Land of the Lustrous, Princess Principal. The new Dororo is one of the current season’s series I’m curious about. Hulu: I think they had Beautiful Bones and Ushio & Tora. Personally, Crunchyroll is my primary source of anime. Even though it's only on the 2nd episode, I have a feeling that My Roommate is a Cat will be the series I most look forward to each week . On the darker side of things I'm also watching The Promised Neverland & Rising of the Shield Hero (Edit: adding The Price of Smiles in this category as well). Boogiepop & Others too, but I intend to wait a couple weeks between viewings so I can binge episodes. Continuing favorites: Mob Psycho 100, Reincarnated as a Slime, Gegege no Kitaro & Hinomaru Sumo.

Besides the currently streaming stuff I've been watching the second season of Dagashi Kashi and finding it entertaining.
