Anyone else enjoying Season 2 so far? This new character who just got introduced in episode 3 is a force to be reckon with for sure!

I went back and re-watched. A few more thoughts on Yuki and Ayame's "mom": She's like a beauty pageant, soccer, cheerleading, scout leader, parent from Hell who literally lives by and through the accomplishments of their children. People like that really do see their kids as meal tickets or tools and have no qualms about being on one of two extreme ends of the spectrum-either so over protective that it's outrageous or literally ready at a moment's notice to put their kid in harm's way as long as it means they get something out of it in the end. She has no redeeming qualities at all and no personality of her own other than being a complete bitch. Not only the way she spoke to her own sons, but also the insults she hurdled during the meeting. I love the part where Yuki commented on how 'small' he realized she was. That's exactly what people like her are, small hearted and small minded. During the flashback, Yuki wasn't just scared, he was terrified, yet she didn't care. Then later, she tried to gaslight him by saying that she didn't know what he was talking about when he said that he wanted to get away. No, you're lying. He DID tell you but you pretended not to hear him and tried to twist it around to seem like Akito's attention was such a good thing. UGH. And Shigure is just a hot mess! Seriously, just stop causing chaos for people dude, sheesh! That meeting wasn't just about being funny, he really wanted to cause anguish for his ex. I absolutely can't stand people like that. He's the kind of guy who once a relationship ends, he refuses to move on so he does his damndest to keep the other person from moving on either. Like he tries to become a permanent fixture in their life because he has no idea how healthy relationships actually work. But good on him for telling Ayame about Yuki's meeting because I shudder to think what would have happened if he hadn't shown up. And yeah, if Saki and Shisho actually really did get together at some point after she graduates that would be interesting because I like both of them. I love how she said, I don't know how I feel about him having an older child. Like it's already decided in her mind lol.

So much awesomeness in one episode! Tohru's conference with Shigure had me in tears laughing so hard. I mean, could you imagine??? Can we just talk about how delightful it was to see Ayame disarm his mom right in front of Yuki and the counselor? THAT folks, is what older siblings are for! #TeamAyame Now Yuki's inferiority complex makes even more sense. He's been used his entire life & never learned how to defend himself or speak up for what he believes in until he met Tohru. And Kyo...my goodness...guys, there better be a miracle that happens that stops him from being confined or I just don't think I'll be able to stand it! And oh? What's this? Saki likes Kyo's dad....say what!?!

I just watched it & I'm glad that it is the same run time as Yamishibai. The animation in this one was very interesting to me & I hope they stay leaning towards common scary urban legends as the theme. I think I'm going to be pretty pleased with it.

Right now Fire Force Season 2 and the second half of Fruits Basket Season 2 are the ones I'm most hyped about. Actually, I'm also looking forward to Ninja Collection because it's by the same team that made Yamishibai: Japanese Ghost Stories.

For those who have seen the movie, Heroes Rising really did its best to highlight the quirks of all the students and in some cases in ways that we may not have expected. I'm curious, which student surprised you the most and what did you like about how their quirk was used? For me, it was Sero, because at first I thought his quirk of being able to shoot out tape would be great for detaining enemies but not really for combat but he seriously surprised me. His mobility and being able to use his quirk to utilize weapons, people, and the environment around him in general makes his quirk a force to be reckon with for sure as long as he's not fighting someone who's majorly OP like in this movie. Because, yeah um, good luck against All For One, Jr. over there. Yikes.

You may try Goblin Slayer and The Rise of the Shield Hero if you haven't already. I enjoyed those a lot.

I'm not really into pineapple on my pizza at all but pineapple and pepperoni isn't that bad. My favorite pizza is pepperoni, black olive, and extra sauce. Sometimes I add mushrooms too.

Just had a fruit smoothie, really wasn't very hungry. But I did go to the store today and get two new flavors of oatmeal: banana maple and raisins, dates and walnut.
