I like to see the cosplays of different people that they create and artist booths. I like to be able to purchase merchandise at cons and be able to talk to other fans. There is a bigger sense of community at anime conventions where you are able to meet people from around your area and establish some friendships with fellow anime fans.

To place a video here on this site you only need to copy and paste the link of the video from Youtube and it will show inside the post. I liked this animation. The idea of animating anime images is very cool.

The only games I can think of that are 2D and a little bit in the anime style are Adventure Quest, Adventure Quest Worlds, and DragonFable which are all made by the same gaming company. They are fun games to play if you like this style but the graphics are not amazing but this is done in a cute 2D style. Adventure Quest Worlds is also MMORPG with many character custom options and contains many aspects you see in most games such like armor, weapon, pet customs, quests and missions, instances with boss monsters with friends and ability to skills such like fishing. More games in this style to me would be great because I like this type that is more realistic and relaxing.

Does anyone know of an Anime game but a 2D version? In addition to being open world and mmorpg Is there no such thing? Why don't they make it? It could easily be in a web browser without downloading it I would easily walk (wasd) and explore places like these What do you think about this idea? Make your own anime character each server is the city of Japan to do various tests, challenges, goals to choose which school you want to go to, To work in the profession that suits you and you like. Interact with players. Each choice you and the other players make changes the story of your character and their character (i.e. they affect each other for more realism) Now what kind of game? What category do you like best? 1) For zombies - survival? 2) just realistic and relaxing 3) Science Fiction? 4) Athletic? etc although I believe they can all be done together in this game haha

That is neat! Is this an anime image that they animated?

Almost the same as what I am doing now Playing Runescape, listening to Linkin Park, watching anime, going on anime forums online, going to school.. which I seem to have never gotten away from school just that now it's college lol. Erm I think I played outside a lot back then though. I definitely went outside more then as opposed to now to do things with friends and just hang out. I kinda miss just sitting on the curb with friends and talking or rollerblading/biking and stuffs with friends like back then.

Yes every time I'm buying tons of anime merch I'm thinking to myself "It could be much worse, it's not drugs, at least it's not drugs" XD

I really liked them too! Good movies but the type that scares me, which I guess it fulfilled its purpose with that

Any magical girl anime even girlier than Tokyo Mew Mew?
miotop replied to miotop's question in Recommendations
By girlier, I'm specifically looking for something that is either more cutesy, sparkly, and frilly or something that focuses more on makeup, crushing on boys, fashion, and shopping. Tokyo Mew Mew is the only magical girl anime I've seen I'll try Wedding Peach -
I was 15 half a lifetime ago and things felt simpler then than they do now. At this time in my life my only job was going to school which I was in comprehensive school or high school. At that time I was still living in my home country of Finland whereas I only recently moved to the United States for a job. I was still learning English then and my English wasn't as good as it is now, even if I still struggle with some English words now. Around that time of age 14 - 15 was when I discovered and began watching anime and getting into playing games on the computer regularly. Overall I think my life was very carefree then with less stress and hassle than that of being an adult with adult responsibility. Another thing I remember was in the Summer of the year I was 15 we took a vacation to China in Hong Kong and to this day remains one of my best vacation experiences.

I can relate to that. My mother was often complaining about how much I spent on buying anime DVDs, merch and going to anime conventions. I pointed out to her that as I didn't smoke or drink my total monthly anime spend was far less than I'd spend in a month on cigarettes and visits to the pub. This muted her protests a bit, but the real issue was that anime was Japanese and she didn't like the Japanese.
-
This is so very true because my mom still yells at me about what I spend money on. She is always telling me I shouldn't be buying anime merch / going to concerts / anime conventions / clothes / etc and that I should be saving it to go on vacations Despite the fact I went to 2 different countries last year so yes clearly I also go on vacations. This makes me think she just wants something to argue about or try to control lol. I think people should be able to buy/do whatever they want with their money if it's making them happy whether that is going on vaca's or spending money on games/anime.

Any magical girl anime even girlier than Tokyo Mew Mew?
Ohayotaku replied to miotop's question in Recommendations
Maybe try Wedding Peach https://myanimelist.net/anime/1533/Ai_Tenshi_Densetsu_Wedding_Peach -
The type I play is a lot of single player games on Playstation but on the computer I like to play MMORPG's that allow you to pick classes and level and train characters either as by yourself or with friends.

I'm curious to know if you can think of any magical girl anime that you find even "girlier" than Tokyo Mew Mew because I want to watch a magical girl series that is even "girlier" than it

i'd just like to apologise for some of my past responses to this thread. while i still stand by what i said, tha minors should not be sexualised in anime (or any media) my previous reasons were just stupid little things with nothing to back them up.

Words like the F-bomb should, in my opinion, not be said in T.V but okay with that in movies that are rated for it and you know you are watching movie that has swear words in it. Daytime television I view as being the prime target to family and children or teens and so I don't think there should be a lot of swearing there. Later night television I feel as if is more for adults or older people who are watching so the restrictions of words shouldn't be so much. I hear more swearing on television nowadays than I did as when I was younger. It could be just that now I watch shows or later television where it happens more. I am not someone who is so bothered by swearing to stop and think about it when I hear it in a television show or anime however.

I have liked season 1 of this series as a 6/10 if I were to rate it but the reason I did not finish watching season 2 and 3 yet was because I also was not sure how I feel about the season 1 or if I like it enough to continue watching it. On the one hand I thought perhaps will like it more if I finish all the seasons as some shows become more interesting in later seasons. I like the character Suzune the most in the show even she comes across as anti-social and stuck up but I feel a bit sorry for her. She seems to be a caring person but tries to hide this fact. I am actually not much a fan of the main character Kiyotaka because the personality of him I don't like very much, though I understand that he is lazy and appears unintelligent on purpose in the show I find the character boring and this is what makes me consider if I would continue with seasons 2 and 3. Somehow I feel since I started the anime I should finish the series and watch the remaining seasons to see if I feel different after finishing it all.
-
I'm not sure if it counts as non-anime, since it's slightly similar in aesthetic, but I recently started watching Avatar the last Airbender (the cartoon), and it's got me hooked fairly quickly
-
I started to watch a new anime I found recently called 'Classroom of the Elite'. I believe it has 3 seasons and I have only watched so far the season 1 but I will continue to watch all of the seasons.

What Gundam Manga Do You Think Deserves an Anime?
MarathonGuy1337 posted a topic in Anime Discussion
I know it probably the dumbest one but I need this as an anime... -
The highly anticipated conclusion of "One Piece," the hugely successful anime that is based on the manga by Eiichiro Oda, is a subject of intense conjecture among fans all over the world. With its epic plot, well-developed setting, and nuanced cast of characters, "One Piece" is sure to provide a magnificent finale. Although the ultimate fate of the series remains unknown to Eiichiro Oda, fans have conjectured and made predictions based on hints and clues strewn throughout the story. A popular belief states that the series will end with a clash between Marshall D. Teach, better known as Blackbeard, the primary antagonist, and Monkey D. Luffy, the protagonist. Since Blackbeard killed Ace, one of Luffy's closest companions, early in the narrative, he is positioned as the series' ultimate villain. It is anticipated that this will be an epic battle involving all of the main personalities and factions Luffy has come across thus far in his adventure. Another widely held belief is that the conclusion will center on Luffy realizing his desire of finding the One Piece, the fabled wealth purportedly hidden at the end of the Grand Line. This might entail the realization of the real world history, which has been alluded to throughout the series, as well as a last journey to the mythical island of Raftel, where the One Piece is purported to be concealed. A lot of fans also think that there will be a big time jump in the conclusion, displaying the fallout from Luffy's exploits and his influence on society. This might involve the conclusion of several subplots, the fates of the other Straw Hat Pirates, and the revelation of the new power structure in the globe. The conclusion of "One Piece" is probably going to emphasize friendship and camaraderie, which is one of the show's main themes. The plot revolves around Luffy's relationships with his crewmates and other characters he has encountered, and the resolution is anticipated to highlight how strong these friendships are. The ultimate resolution of "One Piece" remains a mystery, leaving fans to conjecture on how it will all come to an end. One thing is certain, though: whatever the resolution, it will undoubtedly be a fitting cap to one of the most cherished and enduring anime series ever.
