Anyone listen to chillpop or lofi music? The genre is like becoming sysnoums with anime...at least if you check Youtube. The thumbnails and gifs all over chillpop and lofi music, and more so much of the music contains quotes and scenes from anime. I love the genre! For me it started with Nujabes thanks to Samurai Champloo, but then I discovered more ambient music like Tycho and somewhere along the line I discovered other chillpop and lofi music. If you have want to listen to some, let me know I'll send you some good ones from YouTube. Also, if you have anything good to recommend please do so!

Hi everyone new to the community hope to learn more and enjoy many things.

Created this to find out from the community on the anime they have watched. Also to find out which ones they expected little of and got a whole lot more then they thought they would out of it.

It has been a while since I started a thread here, since I have nothing much to bring up, but I was recently reminded of something that I have encountered among fellow bloggers, one of whom has a bigger audience than I do but we agree on things and sometimes link to each other. In the anime and manga community, there are people that do not really like a work because the official translation lacks the honorifics that supposedly let us know what kind of relationship the characters, and while they are nice to have, those honorifics do not really feel or sound natural, depending on setting, kind of story, etc., with Kodansha USA’s translation of the first volume of Seven Deadly Sins being a good example of a time that it felt completely unnecessary. Of course, I am not always right, so I thought that I would open this up for discussion to you all. What are your thoughts on the matter? (This situation mainly comes up in written works, but I am placing it here because it crops when it comes to dubbing anime and translating manga and the anime section here is separate from the manga section).

Anime like Re:Zero I suppose? The idea of dying over and over freaks me out though. And isekai wa smart phone or whatever - that kinda idea where the dude is super OP. It's definitely a guilty pleasure The forums are pretty cool! I used to be on some when I was younger but they kinda died over time so it's nice to be on one with actual people lol I'll still call you senpai even if it's not technically correct if you'd like lolol

Me too. I watched it pretty late compared to you guys cause as always I've been waiting for it to finish airing and I was really happy when they announced another season for 2018! That means the waiting is lessen Lol

Made in Abyss 2 has released its going ahead but with no set date yet but I was surprised , over joyed but surprised that they announced it so soon after the first finished

Yep, definitely been waiting for this. Felt bad cause I thought it already started airing. I think Made in Abyss is also airing it's second season this year so I am DEFINITELY waiting for that too. For the rest, I don't know yet. Have to check my MAL

I'm quite enjoying the new club addition to these forums.

High school anime is extremely popular. There are countless series in the anime medium but why is that the case? It's because high school anime resonates with us. We can relate to the characters because we are either enrolling in our high school life or have already experienced it. Furthermore, we become emotionally attached to some of the characters presented and make judgements on their actions. We see them grow and witness their relationships and friendships develop etc. What do you think of high school anime? Is it something that resonates with you? I also made a video along with a friend regarding this question. If you are interested feel free to check it out. I think it will give a good understanding of our opinion and what we think.

I also think that real life high schools are not as fun as they may seem in anime. I guess it gives people the incentive to enjoy high school and appreciate it for what it offers. I do agree. In fact, i have been influenced myself after watching a show. Obviously, high school anime doesn't change my perspective on things entirely but to an extent, even if it's really little, it can change my life for the better and has done so in the past.

15 days of a surprisingly wonderful mood I've been in. Had one small hiccup going on right now which was bound to happen at some point since no one is perfect. I will not let it get to me thus same as my dreams and just move on and smile since I know if I can make my mood last 15 days long I can get passed this and keep going strong. Hope everyone is doing well and having a nice month to the new year so far~

Is it sad that for the most part, all I'm looking forward to are sequels? I mean I'm looking forward to season 2 of One Punch Man, Fairy Tail, I'm practically praying for Tokyo Ghoul and Persona 5 and of course, Attack On Titan 3 should be good. Other than that, I haven't really found anything that interests me.

apart from new seasons of what ive enjoyed watching I'm so far interested in these new anime's as well , and hope they will be as enjoyable to me as expected Violet Evergarden Killing Bites and Beatless
