I'm feeling happy because I managed to do all the things I had to do today, and met some friends while I was out.

Still cold, but not quite as cold as yesterday which is good because I had to go out today to get some things done.

I think that's a problem with creating GFX, sometimes when you've finished one you look at it and find you're not totally happy with one part of it. That happened to me a couple of weeks back I almost had one finished and as it was getting late I decided to finish it the next day, next day I came back to it and thought "no I don't like that it doesn't work for me" so I ended up re-doing a lot of it.

Thank you. Back in the 90s just about everything was 6 episodes, which seems really short now. Fortunately I have quite a long attention span which came in useful with some series coming in at 52 episodes or more. More recently 13 seems to be the norm.

They both look really good. Well done @Sarada and @Sakura you make a great team.

I have mixed feelings about snow. I like the way it transforms the landscape and like to go out to take photos of snow scenes, but on the other hand I have bad memories of trying to get to work with all the trains disrupted due to the snow stopping the points from working so they have trouble even getting the trains out of the depot. Standing on a cold platform waiting for a train that might arrive, but might not wasn't a pleasant experience. On at least one occasion I gave up after about an hour and dragged the blocks of ice that had once been my feet back home phoned work to say I couldn't get in and made myself a nice hot cup of tea. I remember going shopping one Saturday and when I arrived at the supermarket there was about half and inch on snow on the ground, about half an hour later when I had got everything on my mother's shopping list I came out to find there had been a massive snowstorm and there was about 6 inches of snow covering the whole area and thought to myself "now, which of those snow mounds is my car?" Now that I'm a lot older I don't really like going out in snow because the pavements become slippery and I'm not as steady on my feet as I used to be so I'm constantly worried about falling and ending up in hospital with a broken arm or leg.

@Zeref, @Sakura, @Kirika_Madeleine Thank you all for your kind comments about my latest GFX I really appreciate them. I had a lot of fun doing the Gunbuster one and spent ages getting the background looking right and getting the texture on the title looking suitably faded. Gunbuster was one of those series that everybody knew and watched back in the 90s it was a Sci-fi series with just about everything in it, giant mech, a mega-giant mech, cute girls, drama, sadness, personal loss, romance, huge alien monsters, epic space battles and a great ending. and all that in 6 episodes! Directed by Hideaki Anno, more famous these days for NGE, the series is available on Blu-ray.

We're really going back in time for this one. Released in 1988 Gunbuster was an iconic and popular Sci-fi series throughout the 1990s.

I went out briefly to bring the recycling boxes in once they'd been emptied and refilled the bird feeder. I stayed indoors for the rest of the day, too cold out.

When I was at school there was no online option, because it hadn't been invented, so you went out in the snow and went to school.
-
I don't think it's OK IRL whatever age the girl/woman is.

If you've got snow and @Sakura hasn't there's going to be trouble .

K-On is an excellent series with a wonderful cast of characters and a great storyline. It also benefits from having a movie that continues the story rather than trying to retell the whole TV series in 90 minutes, which is a trap so many movies of TV series fall into.

It's cold this morning so I made myself a nice cup of hot chocolate.

It's bright, but very cold. It's now 11am and the temperature is still only 3 degrees above freezing

Can people stop using cell phones to post?
Animedragon replied to Clayton's question in Feedback and Support
I've never really understood why people pay such high prices for a phone. -

I might be the closest but I'm not that close, Drury Lane is about 12 miles from my house as the dragon flies, so I took a journey along the place vi Google street view and it's a typical boring London street with mostly offices and blank walls. There are a few shops and cafes, mostly expensive looking places but then again you don't get cheap eating places in London, but I saw no muffin man or his shop. If you do go to London there are a lot more interesting places to visit than Drury Lane If there was a muffin shop there and I went in and showed that picture and asked if that man was there I'd get a very rude, and unrepeatable, reply and would probably be thrown out of the shop.
