Me personally, I just don't like the hype that fans of the show make about it. They act like it's "the best" anime ever - (as if there is no other anime out there to view) I also don't like D's art style or their animation quality, lol. I've seen older anime works that came out better o_o

Out of all the assassins so far, Connor is my favorite I also like the game too.

For me it's > How they tell their stories through the characters. > Quality of animation. > Their attention to detailing (particularly for backgrounds and environments) > Attention to character development. (If they make their characters relate-able and don't bury their work in a ton of male/female fan service, sexual innuendos, panty/breast shots etc, then I consider the show like media gold.) > Their sense of "slap stick" humor and exaggerated character facial expressions. > Art styles. (I kinda prefer the slender/skinny built characters, over the muscular, toxic masculine ones and for females, I prefer if they weren't used a "sex object" and/or "damsel in distress" type in the show.)

Naruto is not the "best anime in the world" nor is it "amazing" - as people keep claiming it to be. Sames goes for One Piece and Dragon Ball Z. This is pretty much why I've stayed away from these shows - cuz of the fake hype people put on them. They did the same for "The Ancient Magnus Bride" and well I found that show to be a waste of my 2 days of binge watching sadly. Atleast when I watched Naruto/finally gave that one a chance - I didn't get 100% bored to death. (but I know I am not watching the rest of it sadly ie Shippiden and Boruto) Sometimes I feel like people hype up the wrong shows, cuz they have very mediocre/poor tastes when it comes to entertainment content - cuz it's not only anime that has fallen victim to this "hearsay" trend, but also american flims & shows too.

This sounds oddly familiar. It's about a girl who I think. got adopted by a traveling Gypsy/Street Performance Caravan - (who i think was actually trying to protect her from somebody for some reason - can't remember) She did wear a blue dress, with a bow like neck tie, and had a heart shaped, family heir-loom locket. The anime in general had a sort of European culture, feeling <.< (least to me, based on the background work of the anime.) The last episode I saw was I think, where she was escaping an orphanage or someplace that she was sleeping at (being burnt down at night) from some bad guys who were after her - (well they weren't after her, They were after the locket. - Least that was my understanding of show.) If that's the show, then yeah, you and I have the same idea. Only problem is, I as well don't remember the name of the show, cuz it aired on Cartoon Network in Spanish - (which is probably why I don't remember, cuz back then, I didn't understand much in Spanish. They had aired "Meirmo Zebang" the same way, and Zatch Bell - and while I understand that CN did the Spanish stuff cuz it was "cheaper" back then, I sadly consider it a crappy move, cuz half the time, even with translation, you were lost in the shows.) This was also around the time that Cartoons like Kids Next Door and Ed, Edd and Eddy were running and popular and they didn't have Adult Swim/Toonami yet - (cuz I remembered how they used to do their schedule announcements back then. It was kinda cute and energetic.) You might want to look through CN's Anime Listings over the yrs (if you can find it), to find that anime

I know I replied to this thread already, but I'm currently watching Gintama, (since AOT airs weekly. I have nothing to watch while I wait for the next eps.) I kinda wish people told me about this Anime alot sooner though. It's hilarious so far XD

AMEN! I thought I was the only person who thought that, - though mostly that idea usually comes about when someone who can't draw or doesn't draw well or even to my level or higher, comes on my account to criticize my work. My belief is if you personally have a problem with my work, then you should take it and make it the way you want to see it - ie put your money where your mouth is, (rather than babble) - otherwise leave me alone and let me do what I want to do, despite being half blind suffering with depression. Course when I use this approach, people (mostly teens and young adults) attack me even more and say how I'm "not a professional cuz I don't accept critiques" and how "I would never improve without critique" Steups -.- I don't believe in that. I find you should have a right to make your own decisions on how to look - (especially if you're an adult) Other people shouldn't be dictating others just cuz they have issues. Yeah, but it's all good though.... Now I just use the bs as fuel to make certain types of art. Last yr I got so mad, I started making a F**k off art piece (first img) It's not done yet. I gotta go back in and work on shirt, add some wings and roses etc and then apply colour to it. (And yes, it's a self portrait lol.) But I first, have to finish working on my BD Art Gift (second img) I work on it when I'm in the mood lol.

With my kind of luck, I usually do get haters/trolls, no matter where I go online or in real life and based on my observations, they're usually white Americans, followed by locals from my own country. After 8 to 10 yrs of being online I started noticing this "raising/continuing" trend, and I don't know if it's cuz I'm mixed race/coloured, or cuz of how I look or if it's cuz I'm female and decide to have a voice of my own or if it's cuz of my art, or if it's cuz of how I have preferences or what , but It's always something that "these people" have to be "triggered" about, enough to type out their dictatative views on my Social Accounts, on what they think I should and shouldn't say or do. It got so bad, that I used to think that I was being specifically targeted, every time I posted something online, so I started screenshotting comments (before replying abd blocking them - and even went as far as pulling people's IP addresses, emails, etc, just to find out where they live and what they look like, just to back up my views) - and then trump won and we got to see that it's black/coloured skin people in general who face that kind of issue everyday - (so now I don't feel as bad...but still it's a problem) - especially when you point it out and try to explain your life experiences, even go as far as showing people your evidence and people quickly jump on you to label you as being racist. Like I fail to see how me talking about a demographic that often targets me to harass me on my account via PMs or my profile, (when I post art I worked on or say my point of view based on my experiences in a forum) or when they spew hate propaganda (when I don't do that to them), makes me a "racist." Like how does that even work??? It's 2018 and I'm still trying to wrap my brain around that one o_o I know right. I used to get them occasionally on Devianart. (before it used to be Youtube,) Some guy would ask me why I did or said something and I would give them a full and very detailed explanation and they're reply back "tldr" - Steups. I usually cuss them out and block them after that. I don't mind if you're asking questions to satisfy your curiosity (cuz you want to learn/understand), but it's not ok to waste people's time, just cuz you want a "reaction" for your entertainment or you want "info" to use to trash talk the other person, you know what I mean? Also it's 2018, How come Trolling/Harassing/Bullying still exists??? I don't get that either, especially when people talk about it, and clearly point out that it's negative and not ok to do to anybody anymore.

I've never been to either places, but I generally never liked Disney in the first place - even when I was a child - because I don't like their animations or the way they used to portray women. I dislike them even more after studying animation, cuz I got to find out that they used to be racist and sexist too. So that being said, Uni Studios gets my vote, (also cuz they got involved with the first Jurrassic Park film back in the 90's - since it was one of my favs, that's now a classic. )

I generally don't have a problem with CGI in Anime tbh. Most people use it cuz it's just easier to animate with, especially when your project is one a strict schedule/timeline to be made o_o (and a time line I might add that never caters for human errors/issues, such as someone getting fired, or getting sick and being unable to work for a while. And in some cases, they don't cater for you eating or sleeping etc.) Sure, everyone would love to do full on 2D master pieces if they could, but sadly, cuz of that time restrictions and other issues that might happen, well... we get that stuff. (shrugs) The only time I have a problem with the CGI is when they use 3D elements that you could just tell instantly is 3D - ie it's not rendered properly to match the rest of the animation work. Other than that, it's fine.

I don't have a problem with tattoos in general. They are an art form (most of which I appreciate), that have been passed down from generation to generation from our Tribal Ancestors. I also don't have a problem with people who choose to get them. What people do with their bodies and how they choose to decorate it, is not really my concern. It's only the people who attack others and call them "abominations" and "demons" and "criminals", who I have a problem with. I have little tolerance for stupid people who blindly judge others by their choices over getting and showcasing tattoos - even less/zero when they drill their ideologies into childrens' minds to be just as judgmental in future. I once sold tattoo art as keychains when I was younger and a little girl saw one of them and liked them and wanted her mother to buy it. I got upset cuz she - the mother - started "preaching" how she thinks tattoos were evil. I wanted to argue, but another artist stopped me -.- I didn't enjoy the sale I got from that person. I wanted to throw the money out the window. That customer was like being near poison, ugh.

I'm currently watching Season 3 of Attack on Titan. I like how they're filling in the gaps and made the animation more ....dynamic during the fight scenes, but I get the impression that this might be the last season or something. It would really suck, if it came to that tbh.... I also don't like the Red Swan Theme for the opening cuz it sounds to....magic girly, compared to the other tracks they used in the previous seasons..... But that's just me.... Other shows I am watching are just old anime I used to watch from time to time when I was a kid. I'm re-watching them now, to follow them for their storylines and character developments.

The Art Books are in storage somewhere. I gave away most of my Yugi Cards away and kept my favs for a while..... I think I gave away my Mangas to one of my exs, and burnt a couple I didn't like (Ranma and Tenjo Tenge cuz I lost all respect for Rumiko Takahashi.) I also burnt the DVDs, pics, stickers etc that I collected back then..... Why?

Sorry ^.^" I studied Animation when I went to University when I was younger. It's a habit for me now to include things about animation in general from a studio production perspective. Half the time for dubs/English voice overs, it's not the actors' fault but the script writers - cuz they mis interpreted things and/or tried to change things to suit an American audience - (like what they did for Sailor Moon.) And then there is the english director and producer who are also at fault, cuz they approved the script and whatever other changes they made for the American audience. Subs I can understand being mistranslated cuz it's usually just regular people on streaming sites etc doing them, but dubs are a whole nother issue. LOL I know right XD I tried to watch Attack on Titan in English and quit 10 mins after one episode, going back to the original lol XD I tried to watch Sailor Moon in english and couldn't make it past 5 episodes cuz it was so english power ranger cheezey omg T.T Ranma 1/2 was the same. Tried one episode of it in english and I was like nope. (I did watch 120 episodes of that show though in sub - only because it was written by a woman - , but I stopped cuz the ecchi, perv bs was getting too far out of hand.) I lost respect for the Mangaka after that too.

Yyyyyyyeeeahhhhhh...... I kinda dislike Discord for that. I'm 27, and guys who are between the ages 16 to 20 used to make fun of me for my age. Course they didn't know I was an Artist etc, since at the time I was incognito using a substitute account from my Pro Art Account (cuz I don't mix my work with personal stuff). Still it sucked though. Reddit is like Tumblr - full of SJWs aka Trolls and "extremists." It's not really a good site for mature minded people to go to in my opinion - which is why I don't use Reddit and barely use Tumblr. Somebody is always being a whinny, cry baby, and they attack you if you don't act that way too or even if you disagree with them. It's really pathetic tbh. Most people who call others a "weeb" are weebs themselves, so you should just ignore their hypocrisy. I believe it is against the rules here for people to attack/harrass others for whatever reason. If anything, they have mods who can handle any problems you have. OR you can block/ignore the person by adding them to your ignore list here. That way they can't reply back to you or anything. (Yes I know I'm new, but I like exploring the site for it's basic functions first.)

I have Trypophobia - which is a fear of holes or things like it, such as lotus seed pods, alot of eyes on a creature, clutters of small creatures like ants, flies etc, papayi seeds..... etc. My skin crawls and itches if I look or think about them and if I look at them too long, I black out and there is a strong chance that I can go psychotic and kill people just to feel safe again. I also have a fear of falling/heights, feeling pain, and I dislike when too many people are staring at me, but my Trypophobia condition is 1000Xs worse.
