Are there any examples of girls in anime wearing shorts similar to Lucy in the Sun Village arc of Fairy Tail?

I've played game all night pretty much every other day ever since I was a kid. lol I'm not saying it was ever a good idea, and it most likely still isn't, but I've literally got either that or anime to choose from. ^^; Not complaining though, I love having games and anime to escape into.

I just bought a blu-ray of Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence (the English dub), X the Series (DVD), and a new 128gb memory card for my Switch (which makes 3 separate 128gb memory cards for it now). I got those 2 anime because big sis' got me X: the Movie and the first Ghost in the Shell on DVD. She got me Ghost in the Shell (1995) first since it was released sooner than X: The Movie which was released in 2001. I didn't understand a lot of the philosophical and existential aspects of Ghost in the Shell since I was in my younger teenage years, but I've always loved that movie because big sis' trusted me to be mature enough to watch it and knew I could handle it. It was a Christmas present, but before she gave it to me she asked mom if she could talk to her in mom's and dad's room. I was kind of confused and was really wondering what was going on, I definitely remember that. lol Apparently though big sis' wanted to ok it with mom first before she gave me the DVD of Ghost in the Shell given it was a film aimed toward adult audiences. I still have absolutely no idea what the conversation was between them, but big sis' got mom to agree to give me that movie as a Christmas present from big sis'. I was ecstatic when she came out with the DVD of GitS in her hand and I think I even got wide-eyed. lol Sis' got me X: the Movie either the next year or the year after that, but I can't remember if it was a Christmas present or birthday present. I've loved that movie for a long time, too. ^^ I've been meaning to get the DVDs of X the Series, but only managed to do it recently. I remember someone I met at some point a long time ago said I should see the X the Series which is the first time I heard of the series. Apparently the series released after the movie though. I'm amazed I've been able to get one. ^^ Everything about X (movie and series) and the first 2 Ghost in the Shell movies will always remind me of big sis', so I'm really excited to finally have those so I don't have to constantly worry that I might not get either one. ^^ It makes me remember how big sis' would always be thinking of me, her little brother, and those first 2 anime movies she ever got me will always spark memories of her when I watch them or my 2 new purchases from those franchises.

I've been watching Love Live School Idol Project and Love Live Sunshine. Both series had two seasons and both series had the same basic storyline of a group of students trying to save their school from closure by becoming School Idols and winning the "Love Live" contest which they hoped would make the school famous and more attractive and increase applications. Despite the two series being so similar in format they production studio managed to give each series its own identity, both had an good and interesting cast of characters each with their own personality. The songs were quite decent too. But unlike other music based anime the characters were members of a song and dance troop rather than a band, this I found made quite a nice change. Overall both series had good storylines which were sufficiently different and didn't come across as obvious duplicates and I enjoyed watching both series a lot more than I thought I would, but on balance the ending of 'Sunshine' was more believable.

Hello all, to tell the truth I always try to not watch romance anime as they are boring for me and uncomfortable to watch but there are a lot of scenes in different anime that reflect that subject and I always try to skip that parts. This is another issue as there can be some important stuff that can affect the later parts of anime and now I do not know how to solve this problem. Maybe it can be funny for some people but I want to enjoy the anime not skip every minute.

There is an idea to write a program that will help you connect the outer tracks (audio, subtitle) to a video file in various players, where this possibility is absent or inferior. In this regard, I want to ask how much such an assistant is in demand? What video player do you use and why it is? Do you often have to deal with a video where a set of voices/subtitles is represented by external files lying in folders (Sound, Subs, etc.)? How do you watch such material (the player picks up, or move the selected paths to the root of the folder, or maybe pre -glue them in MKV)? Do you use the playlist’s function or open each series separately? Watch video material from the local disks of a computer or from network folders (for example, NAS storages)?

Nier Automata: The End of YoRHa Edition (Nintendo Switch): I finished 2B's route (Route A) and started the route of 9S (Route B). I've unlocked every minor alternate ending that was available to unlock for 2B and I think I've unlocked the only minor alternate endings there are for 9S, so the save file I'm using has most of the letters of the alphabet to show that. I like to keep a Mackarel in my inventory though in case I want to see that alternate ending again because I've triggered it twice in a row when I was going through Route A and that was one I got from fishing, so I unlocked it a little early. I'm curious to see if it works in the other Routes though, as well as the one that's unlocked by self-destructing in the Bunker. I've collected all of the weapons that 2B could obtain in Route A.In Route B as 9S I've hacked a handful of the locked chests so far and gotten the Type-40 Fists combat bracers, Phoenix Sword large sword, annnnnd... I'm probably forgetting one... but I might not be... it's hard to say with how many weapons I've managed to amass so far. ^^; I'm only in Chapter 2 which is when 9S and 2B first go to the Resistance Camp in Route B and complete the quests from there, but I haven't talked to Anemone again just yet. I was surprised when I saw the plug-in chips that enemies drop are different when playing as 9S in Route B as opposed to the enemy plug-in chips that drop for 2B in Route A, but I don't really know why it was so surprising because it makes sense. It's pretty fun hacking enemies with 9S though, that's for sure. lol The mini-games are interesting, and it feels pretty good to know that there's still things in this game left to discover. ^^

Half my current age, 71, isn't a whole number so for convenience I'll say it's 35. At 35 my life was pretty much ordinary and nothing really exciting was happening. I had just bought my second car, and like my first one it was second hand, yeah, I was late into the car-owning thing! Back then I was into computers, CB radio and model and real railways and I'd not even heard of anime. I was also happily in my 18th year of a job that I initially took as a 'stepping-stone' into what I thought would be a better job but after just 1 year I decided that I liked and enjoyed the 'stepping-stone' job much more than the one I was originally aiming for so I stayed with it for my entire working life.

I was actively watching the anime as it was on air and recently I started watching it again remembering it was quite fun but like damn,it has been almost 4 years since the last season,it's reviews was not bad,it was super popular then why no news for the new season guys? They are really sleeping on this anime.

I am currently 44, so when I was 22(2001) I was still finding my way in this world(kinda still am lol). I was working at UPS and I believe I went to my first anime convention that year(not my first con, but my first dedicated to anime). Other than that, not too much else to write about.
