Not that I'll be able to watch any of it as I don't have a Disney+ account.

I tend to alternate between Netflix & Hulu/Disney+ as series I want to watch accumulate. Crunchyroll is the only subscription I keep continuously. Ohayotaku
CR has added a countdown clock to their site for the 1st ep of Kaiju No. 8. Unfortunately many times them hyping a series turns out to be a kiss of death. Time will tell I suppose.
Ohayotaku
CR started listing their summer roster (debuting July) https://www.crunchyroll.com/news/seasonal-lineup/2024/6/18/summer-2024-anime-crunchyroll Honestly not seeing much to be hype for. Will likely continue Reincarnated as a Slime, MHA & Dededede. Planning to watch 2nd seasons of Tower of God, The Cafe Terrace & it’s Goddesses, Oshi no Ko (though that’s Hidive). I’ll inevitably find some new seasonals, but planning to try to take care of some backlog series like the 2nd cour of the Ruroni Kenshin remake ahead of season 2 this fall, Catlevania: Nocturne & Scott Pilgrim. And still haven’t watched live action One Piece & Avatar:TLA

Shoshimin: How to Become Ordinary.- From a Light Novel by the creator of Hyouka, so it has to be worth a watch. Shy Season 2.- The first season was quite good fun, so I'll give this a chance. Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian.- I've seen a lot of comments about this one, most of them favourable, so I guess it's worth a look. It'll be interesting to see what's behind the question marks in the list.

Ohayotaku
Apparently Ranma 1/2 is getting a remake https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2024-06-25/rumiko-takahashi-ranma-1-2-manga-gets-new-anime/.212191 I don’t know that I ever qualified as a “fan” but it was one of the first anime I experienced on VHS back in the 1990’s & I do have some fond memories (particularly the 1st season & the 2nd movie). So I’m sure I’ll at least give it a look.

I tried to watch a bit of it a while back and it didn't really appeal to me anymore.
Ohayotaku
The retro revival continues https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2024-07-01/clamp-magic-knight-rayearth-manga-gets-new-anime-project/.212711 honestly not sure how to feel about this given the lack of details at this point. Both seasons of the original tv series are in my all time favorites & I think it’s my favorite CLAMP series overall. Updated visuals (like they did with the Sailor Moon Crystal movies) might be nice, but I’m hoping they don’t attempt a sequel after all this time given my impression of CCS Clear Card & Yashahime. And I didn’t like the alternate storyline OVA at all. Edited July 2 by Ohayotaku

I wasn't sure about that either, MKR is one of my all-time favourite anime series and I don't really see why it needs a new version, it's not as if the series is out of print and unavailable, there's a Blu-ray box set due out next month. Like you I hope they don't attempt to do a sequel as I have very mixed feelings about CCS Clear Card but I don't think we're ever going to see any more of that.
Ohayotaku
I posted this in another topic, but will post it here too https://www.crunchyroll.com/news/announcements/2024/7/7/fire-force-season-3-anime-april-2025-crunchyroll Almost a year away before the first half airs so delays are still possible, but hopefully they are taking the time to do a quality final season. Good News. Yuru Camp is such a great series. I hope the biker girl, whose name I can't remember, is in the new series because Rin needs a fellow biker and the two of them got on so well together in the 3rd series. Ohayotaku
Just saw on ANN that we’re getting another anime take on Anne of Green Gables. Not actually hype but find it kinda interesting that the works are continuing to get representation I know there’s been a couple anime adaptions & it was referenced in R.O.D. TV series (parallels between Anne/Diana & Anita/Hisami) Edited November 20 by Ohayotaku
