What is your favorite anime Decade

Hard to say. They all have their finer points, but I suppose the 90s. I liked the more recent types they released, but preferred before they started using CGI in everything. That's also when they started seeing how much they could get away with NOT editing.

And let's face it, they did some goofy crap in the 80s while keeping it way too PG

I don't really have a favourite decade, they all have their good and not so good points. I've been watching anime since the middle of the 1990s and the back then vast majority I watched was on VHS and later on DVD and quite often I'd buy a recently released tape or disk of a series and go onto a forum to discuss it and give my opinion of it, only to find that it wasn't all that new and was in fact several years old and no one was talking about it any more.  So which decade series belongs to was rather blurred for me.

In this regard I would say anime is the exact same way as video games to me. I have to already be sort of endeared to them, so vintage Bleach is still a ton of fun for me to watch but I'd say recent trends in animation (aside from the overuse of CGI of course) is preferable to my tastes. I realize this is not a specific decade but I'd say 2010 to present would be my favorite time frame.

For me I would probably say the 2000-2010 era. Most of my favorite animes came out around this time such as Naruto,  Code Geass, Darker Than Black, Bleach, Samurai Champloo, Death Note, Fullmetal. I think it was a really good time for anime, at least anime that I'm fond of.

Same honestly ~ The early 2000s was my fave time for anime & was around the time I started watching anime too. Inuyasha, Naruto, Death Note, FMA were some of my favorites and still are. I do like the current era of anime though and some of the more recent ones out in the last few years I've really enjoyed.

Hard to say really. There are numerous anime from the 70s-90s I have an enduring fondness & appreciation for. But I have watched more anime & a greater variety since I started steaming approximately 10 years ago. I’m currently watching more seasonals than anything, though I foresee that changing at some point. Much of my early anime faves were scifi/space opera (Star Blazers),  mecha (Robotech) & giant/combining robot. But overall I seem to have a preference for fantasy & supernatural in keeping with my interest in folklore & mythology. Then there epic series like Fate Zero & Vinland. One of my biggest complaints about modern anime is there is way too much isekai & OP MC (in many cases, can’t really call them underdogs or anti-heroes, just blatant power fantasies). And while I enjoy some CGDCT & cozy anime (love both Azumanga Daioh & Yuru Camp), there’s too much recently, especially when it comes to the Idol genre.
Honestly many  anime I enjoy are modern adaptions/interpretations of older source material (Fruits Basket, Dororo, Ushio & Tora, Spriggan, Megalo Box). Some  remakes feel like like relevant updates (Star Blazers 2199/2202), but others pointless (Ranma 1/2). And many continuations after decade long breaks don’t measure up to the OG (Cardcaptor Sakura Clear Card, Yasha Hime)

I have a fondness for 90s anime, especially titles like Sailor Moon. The unique style of shows from that era, such as Dragon Ball, Kenshin, Trigun, Fushigi Yugi, Case Closed, and CardCaptors. They all had a special vibe I liked.

I really enjoy the latest decade of anime from the 2020s too. There have been some awesome shows that just came out. I've seen anime from almost every decade and I have favorites from almost each one.

Late 2000's to early 2010's.

I think the first anime I watched was Yu-Gi-Oh! while it was on 4KIDS, but I don't remember much from it. Actually, I think I watched just because it happened to be on TV. I was fond of Pokémon, though. I watched up until Diamond and Pearl, and then I just fell out of watching TV for a while.

I love anime from both the 90s, and 2000s, but it undeniably the 90s that I love most. Anime like Sailor Moon, Yu Yu Hakusho, Tenchi Muyo, Outlaw Star, and many more that caused me to fall in love with anime came from that decade, and they hold a charm entirely their own that I can't stop loving.

For me the 2000s, and the 2010s, were the best anime decades in my opinion. I can't say anything about the current anime decade though, because i still have to check out a lot of current new anime that i didn't watch yet.
