Just finished Fire Force S3 Ep6. The series has had better episodes, but I felt like this week was it’s  best so far this season.

@Wickett sorry if I’m wrong, but I believe you were the one who asked my opinion about Burn’s motives earlier

so it seems Burns has always dedicated himself to the service of a “supreme being”. His adollo link revealed that to be The Evangelist. The fact that  the “God” he had served was not benevolent but wanted to destroy humanity did nothing to diminish it’s overwhelming power. Joker also realized he stood no chance of defeating The Evangelist but decided to fight anyway. Burn’s felt his direct resistance wouldn’t do any good, but by setting himself up as an obstacle that had to be overcome, perhaps it would force the newer generation  (Shinra) to become strong enough to do what he couldn’t. Basically, talk is cheap. You say you can defeat “God”, prove it because you don’t stand a chance if you can’t beat me.

Overall an awesome episode, but I was left kinda apprehensive by the ending, because apparently they’re going to try being funny again. I realize it’s a matter of personal taste, but a lot of times the series’ sense of humor doesn’t land for me & the repeated instances of interjecting it at highly dramatic moments just kills the forward momentum. Still keeping my fingers crossed it will work out this time.

i liked s1 a bit,..like 7/10. Is S2 better?

I believe so, it’s been a while since I watched the previous seasons. Will probably rewatch from the beginning before the final cour next year.

I was, and I believe your running theory is a pretty solid take.

Spoiler

I don't buy at all that Burns is suddenly a bad guy, I think he and Joker both intend to do good but have taken very different routes to get there. I also don't think it'll be long before we know whether or not this is true.

It's hit and miss with me, sometimes it's annoying and disruptive but other times it's strangely comical so I try to roll with it.

Haha both series i haven't seen. But i am surprised Nico is a woman's name in Japan

WHo creates the age rating on anime? Does Crunchy roll do that? i am always surprised. What in my eye is the most childish series get a 14+ year rating. And why? " profanity, suggestive dialogue" . Wahaha she says she loves him once and thinks about a kiss. That's it

I love big-name or visually-stunning anime. I see good stuff out there, but nothing really stands out. I have preferences as to what I'd like to see. It has to equally catch and keep my attention.

Burns gets killed?

Yup, that’s what promoted my earlier post

Spoiler

Presumably but it did go off screen so I'm assuming there's a slight chance he's still alive. I also like what they've done with Joker. He has always been my favorite and it's nice to see a little character development on his part.

Excellent episode. I watched it last night.

Food for the Soul episode 5 - Kurea & Shinon get their divers’ licenses  & take everyone on an impromptu road trip.

As someone who grew up in the country & learned to drive on rural roads I can relate to the first-time freak-out of realizing the lane you’re in will force you onto the interstate/freeway when you weren’t expecting it.

It’s no Yuru Camp, but I’ve grown rather fond of this series. Definitely my comfort anime of the season.

Currently I'm watching "Top Secret" it's a detective show. While after watching Death note and Monster I can't find anime like this.

Maybe try Moriarty the Patriot or Beautiful Bones: Sakurako’s Investigation.

I've started kodomo no jikan. And I've noticed off the bat its very...obvious lolicon. It does touch on certain topics that are real life scenarios, like how the main character rin, had lost both of her parents and had to grow up without that parent guidance and attention, which it's hinted that that is a cause for her vulgar acts or need for romantic attention from older people (her teacher). But it's clear that the execution of these topics is very poor and it most likely was put in as just an excuse for the lolicon content. The designs are very cute though and there are some good and sane characters. I personally like Kyōko Hōin

Solo levelling...

As a latecomer to it, I didn't want to buy the hype. But I'm FULLY IN. I've had a super anime binge this week, caught up on MHA, rewatched SAO, & in my craving for something similar, Solo Levelling is the answer😭.

im on the last episode of season 2, and I had to pause it just to make this!

literally. What do you mean "fatal strike has been upgraded" JUST AS Jinwoo is about to get his eye OBLITERATED. &nbsp

Fair enough.
