  1. I really enjoyed season 1 as well, but lost interest in season 2 after 3 or 4 episodes. I still intend to revisit again someday in case it just wasn't what I was in the mood for at the time. Something similar (but much shorter) is Hakata Tonkatsu Ramens. Like Durarara it has a large of cast of very eccentric characters who lives are all connected, but a word of warning it is VERY VIOLENT with dark humor (probably more like Baccano), so that might be a deal breaker. I'm also watching the same currently airing series as you. As far as Demon Slayer goes, I think I'm committed through the end of the cour (episode 12 or 13), but not convinced yet whether I'm in for the long term, as most shonen series go on & on. I couldn't get into Sun & Moon at all. Didn't seem to have any of the charm of the original series plus I don't like the new art style. I did enjoy XY though.

  5. @Seshi One series that was like that for me was HxH. It was loooong, but by the end I still wanted more. It's a shame it will probably be left unfinished.

  6. Thank youuu Is it any good? We Never Learn I mean? I'm currently watching Ouran High School Host Club hehe.... And I'm also watching Attack on Titan season 3... I know, I know, very mainstream, but hey why not

  8. There should be a way to edit it. The option should show under the leader ranking. There is a button labelled : "Quiz Actions" There, you should see "Edit" on the top. If you cannot seem to see the option to do so, I may be able to do it as a moderator.

  9. I'm kinda (but only kinda) the opposite. I really like to take my time and fully enjoy the heck out of something, which goes for most things. I don't like to do things on the side but really concentrate on it and take my time. I wouldn't even mind if movies were 3 or 4 hours long. But, as many here I guess, I just can't find the time for it. There's so much other stuff to do that the about half hour episode format seems to work well to try and fit it in somewhere between work and other stuff.

  10. These three are very different, but I relate to them in different ways. Sawako Kuronoma I'm also kind, but trash at speaking what I really think. Like her, I stress a lot and am indecisive. Saiki Kusuo Mostly for his loner quiet part and his love for sweets and staying at home. Killua I'm not as cool as him (I wish!) but I can really relate to the love he has for his friends and his slight tsundere-ness.

  11. I just finished the first season of Durarara and loved it. If anyone has watched the second season, is it any good? Should I continue it? As for currently airing shows I'm watching OPM and AoT, the remake of Fruits Basket, and have just started watching Shield Hero (i gotta catch up on it). I started Demon Slayer, but wasn't very fond of the revenge part. Any manga readers, does the theme of the show evolve into something more or should I just stop watching?

  12. @Seshi The shortness of the episodes really helps encourage me to watch, since it isn't that big of an investment. I tend to procrastinate on watching movies because their length is so overwhelming for me. It's the same for series with 24+ episodes, which is a shame. I'm probably missing a lot of good shows that are on the longer side. A great thing about the weekly and seasonal format is the variety. It's guaranteed you'll find something good to watch with so many shows airing.

  13. I just finished this beautiful movie, am sitting here recovering from sobbing, and have nobody to share it with. So, who here has seen it and what are your thoughts? I'll try to share more thoughts myself once I am less bleary-eyed.

  20. I binged it to about ep 60 something before dropping it, not cause I didn't like it, mostly cause I didn't have the time. Asta's screaming isn't that bad after a while and the characters are genuinely good (people were saying that there are a lot of similarities with Fairy Tail in this regard, BC has squads while Fairy tail has guilds I believe). All the OPs are fantastic and the story has potential. I read ahead in the manga and around this time the anime should really be picking up. As for the bad parts, the animation is atrocious most of the time, and fights are suuuper drawn out. If you're into battle shounens that are just constant waves of enemies with a sprinkle of fun characters, you'll probably enjoy it.

  22. I’m glad you decided to catch up on Shield hero I can’t speak for the future of Demon Slayer- but currently it seems to have so much more going for it than just revenge (if you’re referencing Jintas family massacre that is)

  25. I'm finding it enjoyable enough though I doubt it will become one of my all time faves. A lot of people compare it to last season's Quintessential Quintuplets, but I actually like this one better because there are fewer girls and I couldn't buy into the whole "we're quintuplets so people can't tell us apart even when we don't look alike" . Besides, I have a thing for glasses girls

  26. I tend to burn out on the mega series even if I enjoy them, simply because after awhile I get in the mood for something different, For One Piece it was early in the Skypeia arc & for HxH it was at the start of the Chimera Ant arc. I still am interested in going back to them again someday. but right now I'm enjoying exploring different series and genres. This is definitely true for me lately. I kind of like exploring different genres. Case in point: my favorites from the Winter 2018 season were Yuru Camp & A Place Further than the Universe. For Spring 2018 it was Golden Kamuy & Megalobox.

  34. Spoilers here!! Even if I've finished the movie, I still find myself coming back to it in the form of AMVs or discussions, it's just that amazing. I heard that even Makoto Shinkai said he was jealous of it.

  35. In watching animes, I actually base what I'm going to watch base on the plot of the anime (especially ones that really piques my interest and something unusual for ONCE in a while) and there are some animes that I've just discovered through some friends' recommendations. I did come to realize that I am particularly drawn to slice of life animes maybe because I am curious with Japanese culture and such and I think it's a subarashii way to learn new things. *eats pudding* Well, TMI moment here. uwu

  36. That’s a really good point, she says the hero’s all have to work together to defeat the coming waves, yet they were told at the beginning that they can not work together, that their weapons keep each other from doing well if they try to work together? Was that just a ploy from the king? I thought it was somehow confirmed. But now I want to watch ep 1 again.

  44. I couldn't get into any of these. Hinamatsuri and Chiyo's I finished, but I had to drop AA. Didn't like the humor, and the animation, sound, etc. did nothing for me either. I did like Aho Girl however, which is pretty similar. Go figure.

  47. I've been doing a lot of re-watching and starting random series as of late, having way too much time on my hands. I honestly have a hard time NOT re-watching a few certain titles. For a while, I wasn't finding many new releases that I found interesting. I kinda took my time finishing several larger anime, and put off watching a few hyped-up anime that had huge popularity. Until this year, I tended to wait until an anime had at least half of the initial season online, then I'd start. So far I'm following 4 new spring anime from this year as they are released. It's a different experience for me to be impatient for an anime from the very first episode as they're being aired. I'm not very good a being patient, I think. Aa far as anime goes at least. And some webcomics.
