Oh we have got a couple of people with a sweet tooth. For me it's Lokum (turkish delight), a turkish sweet I fell in love with. There are many variations of it, so here an example how it looks like.

This is called Crema Catalana. It is one of my favourite desserts. I do not see it often in restaurant menus.

Please share your dessert oddities from your home town, or far beyond. What great desserts have you ventured out to find? I’m excited to say that I recently found a Thai fried ice cream place. This has been on my bucket list since I was in high school, and discovered it while watching anime. I ordered banana and Nutella How it’s made:

@Muco my parents are huge fans of Lokum and it's quite a popular gift. I personally don't really enjoy it too much because it is a bit too sugary and not enough other flavors. But it's great with tea

There is nothing wrong with having fruit for desert. Most really fancy deserts are based around fruit anyway. lol

Yah I heard it dubbed during a discussion panel at one of the cons I attend. It was a rather interesting one. It was 18+ of course, and the dubbed voice acting was so bad and the people in the room were so loud it was just a nightmare.

Have not ate in a while, but last thing I drank was green tea mixed with cyane peeper, ginger root, and cinnamon.

We've had an Observatory in our school - like, a really big one - and the people in our Astro-Club sometimes took long exposure shots of stars, certain astrological objects and events (Can't say I know that much about this kind of stuff - more on the engineering side of things when it comes to space and physics) with their phone through the giant telescope. (The observatory was basically one part of our school with it's own tower and it had to be rotate mechanically - so yeah, the telescope was huge). But with the correct camera lens, a tripod, a lonely place on top of a mountain with no towns nearby and a clear night you can get some nice shots of the stars without fancy equipment. I did some a few years ago when we went hiking for a few days. I used to do photography more frequently, I hardly ever do it lately, mostly of landscapes and birds. Unfortunately I basically lost all my files on my windows system, including every photo I ever took so yeah - I have nothing to show for... (at least I now have a reason to completely free myself from windows )

I admit sports anime is not among my favorites most of the time, but one that dose come to mind is Keijo which is a echi one for sure, but defiantly worth watching at least once.

Megalobox is on my to watch list. My favorite sport anime are Haikyuu, Hajime no Ippo, and Baby steps.

Stardew is one of the best games around. Got Skyrim vr the other day and I'm hoping to try it tonight....

I actually got the first volume of the manga last year but never got around to reading it, the art style is a bit off-putting to me. The concept is really what interested me, in a similar vein as Pupa, but I doubt this will betray my expectations like that did.

Koutetsujou no Kabaneri - I assume this is what you would regard as a old-fashioned zombie anime, though they're called Kabane (dead corpse) in the show.
