I think it's better to include the honorifics, and the users above already put pretty good examples of why. Also ppl know they areding/watching manga/anime and that it comes from Japan and so it will have some things that cannot be translated and have to be included to get a better understanding of the scene or the character's personality... But, @brycec, I think it would be better if you tell us what was the part that looked awkward in that manga translation, bc otherwise, I can't think clearly of a example when honorifics are awkward...I imagine it's something related to the story or a scene not being set in Japan?

I don't have a favorite genre, I have liked anime/manga from different genres so... However, if I have to mention a preference, I usually avoid any manga/anime of any other genre as main that has romance added into the mix. Shippers already get very obnoxious with anime/manga where there isn't a canon ship. I have ships too, but there's a lot of fans who just don't know how to behave and don't seem to care about anything else in the show but the their OTP.

I have many unpopular ships, it's hard to remember them all...I guess the mlm and wlw ones wouldn't be well received here, so here some of my underrrated het ships: Kanzaki x Kikuchi (GTO) Onizuka x Kanzaki is probably the most popular ship so... I think I have a thing for shipping genius characters together sometimes Suga x Kiyoko (HQ!) Tbh the individual fandoms of both characters are so obnoxious I'm not sure if I still ship it, but I still got the feelings when I saw the this scene again: Ascot x Umi (MKR) I have seen more fans of Cleff x Umi, so I thought that ship was more popular than this one, but now that I'm looking for pics, I think that maybe it's not that unpopular? I guess it depends of what blogs you visit and what fans you interact with... And that's it, bc I can't remember any others rn...

I did made great friends through it, but it was with other hobbies. As for maing friendships stronger...I guess if you get your friends into it you would have one more thing to share with them, and that would reinforce your friendship?

I have never been to one, but I watched a Rachel and Jun's video "Jun visits a Maid Cafe". I personally find kinda cringy the way the waitress was talking, so I don't think I would visit one. But if there was a maid whose looks I liked, then I think I would try it.

I have watched just 3 or 4 Ghibli movies, but I like them a lot. The first I watched was Spirited Away, and I had never seen anything like that before, it left a strong impression in me as a child. I need to find time to watch more.
