Optic
I myself don't have any pets at the moment, it's a parents thing. But we used to own goldfish when I was younger. Low maintenance and shiny scales! But they don't live very long and well, they're not as fun as other pets which you can pat. I also remember taking care of two baby chickens for a few weeks from school as part of an assignment to study their behaviour. Soo cute and they really enjoyed the lawn. At some stage in the future I would love to get a dog. Maybe a GermanShepherd... How about you? Do you own any pets? If so tell us a story! What is his/her name? How did it first meet you, and any interesting experiences?
Taalen
I've had many pets since I was a kid, mostly dogs. I had a tank of fish at one stage, my cousin fed them too much and they died At the moment I have 3 chooks that run amok around the backyard, tearing up everything. They really hate people too. Fab
since young, my house has been like a pet shop. we had fishes, birds, hamsters and rabbits. the latest addition would be a jack Russell. most of the guys who have been on the AN chat session should have seen my dog once or so. its name is Sasa. been with me for nearly 5yrs. gotta admit. this pup brought my family a lot closer together. like there was something that was spicing up our life as we look at the silly dog doing all her funny and dumb stuff. but it has been tiring training her as well. Tried medicine but it didn't help. Anyone else ever had the same thing? the latest addition would be a jack Russell. most of the guys who have been on the AN chat session should have seen my dog once or so. Sasa is soo cute! Orius
We had owned a couple of animals back in the day, but not at the same time. We had: A hamster which bit my finger and bled me. A "five star tortoise" (or "Burmese star tortoise", as I believe it's called) which ate lettuce all day and wasn't all that interesting. A little chick from when I was too young to remember playing with a chick. A guinea pig which unfortunately suffered my more sadistic behavior back in the day (kinda poured water on him... ). A pair of rabbits, one of whom died because my father touched him with ointment-stained hands (or at least he believed that to be the cause). The other was dying of loneliness, so we set it free. A normal arowana and a silver arowana - again, not bred at the same time. The former died because my dad fed him a cockroach. My dad used to own a pug before I was born. He died too because my grandma fed him chocolates. We owned what was probably a pair of 'suckermouthed catfish', albeit very small ones. In fact, my dad owned a lot of fish, for the sake of 'feng shui'. We had a lot of goldfishes, some carps, and a couple other species of fishes that I don't know about. Today, the only kind of pet we own is just the boring ol' fish. Wish we could owned a cat or something. Kitties are cute. I used to play around with the stray cats near my old apartment block. RyePotatoes
Have a poodle. Named Sasshou since I love animes and I find the name Sasshou kawaii. She's white and have curly white hair. Sasshou was given by my grandma last Christmas when she was still a month old. Took care of her ever since. What I find cute about her is that when we were about to sleep she would always get out of her basket and would always climb up on my bed. I tried transferring her back on her basket tho but she would always climb back up. So I stopped trying and just let her sleep near my foot on the bed. She's been sleeping there ever since. Evil Bunny of Doom
I've had so many pets in my life....I don't think I can remember all of them (I had a couple of bunnies,in case you're curious ) Some of the ones I remember vividly are: a goldfish named Goldy cause it lived for like 6 years,a chipmunk named Sparky (he was sooooo cute) and our previous dog, Hero. He was the best dog ever, even though he was born blind from one eye (I seriously doubt he could see well from his other eye, too)He died last year, when he was only 2 years old (someone killed him actually....). Right now, I have another dog,Hero's daughter, Elina. She's a nice dog but man,she can't sit still for a second. She has already broken a couple of things in the house (it's a true miracle that my mum hasn't kicked her out yet )

Nectar
Yay I can show off my many animal slaves friends First! This is Ella. She's a cross between a corgi and a jack russell. We've had her for six years. She da cutest. Good dog. Next! These little buggers are Poppy (grey) and Willow! (not grey) Poppy is grumpy, always asking very loudly for food She's still cute though and very loyal... provided she gets her food. Willow is proably the most adorable cat in the world, and she's super nice and cuddly. Don't be fooled though, Willow is a master of Cat-Fu :0 One of her favourite hobbies is beheading wildlife for fun. Be on your guard. Greeneyes
Ok I have to hold a few tears because one of them died.... I don't usually get emotional because a lot of pets died when I was little so I became less affected but this one...
ItsSammy
I had 2 dogs when I was quiet young, the female was this beautiful rusty red colour while the male was white; I don't really talk about it anymore though because they both ended up dying and it kinda hit me really hard ... I did have 2 cats back then as well, I think they were a little before we got the dogs though but they ended up running away to be wild cats again. I've got a few more cats now, but they're outside cats ... I just feed them.
Kohloo
Growing up we had three dogs and two cats, so I'm fairly used to an abundance of furry siblings! I haven't had any pets while living on my own. I'm temporarily back at my parents house part of the time (around 1-2 weeks at a time) and they have a dog and a cat still. They're usually glued to me while I'm home
Cy~
At some point, in the next couple of years, @zoop and I will adopt a kitten. We'll name her Lovecraft and raise her like a child. That's pretty much set in stone, because we're clearly silly. Other than future-Lovecraft-kitty, I have had the following pets in my lifetime - Wolf Spiders Parakeets 4 Dogs 2 Cats 1 Turtle Ants Butterflies Out of all of these, only 1 cat, the turtle, and 2 dogs are still around. They currently reside with my sister, whom considers herself the queen of all furry creatures, which is fine for me, atm, since the apartment that @zoop and I share charges through the nose for animals.

Imogen
I have two cats right now. And one of them is named Khufu. And I just wanted to share that he's sitting his butt in my lap with his upper half lounged across my mouse and keyboard. I just adopted him a year ago and he was brought to the shelter twice so it's so awesome to see him so comfortable. I'm very happy right now.

Bernkastel
It's been a long time since I've had a pet. I had some fish and there was a point where I had a hamster, though I can't remember much about it. There was also a stray cat that my family treated as a cat. That was great. Cats are wonderful. I wish I had a cat, but I have concerns in regards to how I'd handle any pet at the moment. I wonder what cat tastes like? I don't know. But, if I ever get a cat, you are forbidden from tasting it.
