I decided out of boredom to pick up my switch again and play it. I didn't do much with the exception of completing some shrines. U Anyway, I downloaded Fe last night, but I'll probably just go download the DLC for FO4 and be hooked on that for a while too because I realised I haven't played them yet. Hadn't even thought about the game for ages.. then I discovered a directory full of old stuff while cleaning up some files. Ran the old .jar.. it worked. Help me.... User 781 Posted June 22, 2018 Share Posted June 22, 2018 (edited) Fallout 4: Picked up Jezebel's brain (whilst disrespecting her, of course, because my character is an unashamed ass,) and hit level 50 yeet! Also found a way to mod my energy rifle to basically function like a shotgun, and it's one-shotting things. Maybe a bit overkill but who cares, it's Fallout. Anyway I'm just using it until I collect more railroad spikes because clearly the most superior weapon in the game impales your enemies' heads to the wall. Monster Hunter World: KT Siege doesn't start up again until next month (boo hiss) so we've just been working on limited bounties to up our HR. I main Insect Glaive as a weapon, but today I figured 'awheckwhynot' and picked up a set of shiny Xeno Dual Blades. To my surprise, they're actually stupid fun! I'm killing monsters twice as fast and twice as recklessly and cartwheeling up a monster's back is so satisfying I might just stick with these babies for a while. RepentantSky Posted June 24, 2018 Share Posted June 24, 2018 I started playing Ni No Kuni II in it's hardest mode, and I gotta say, it fixes a lot of my complaints about the game. I think the leveling is a bit too fast still, making the mode a little less interesting than it should be, but it's nice to play the game in such a way that it's actually challenging again. Not sure if that actually helps, or if it just means that when I get lost I'm REALLY lost. So far I've been able to make it back.. eventually. I always use a tall tree as the landmark for my base. I used to build giant lighthouses and cobblestone mushrooms as my landmarks but since playing on an "all high mountain" terrain I have just started carrying a compass with me. No sleeping lol.... I should post a picture sometime of my greenhouse for farming. I made it ridiculously huge but the lighting I decided on for the crops was..odd. Odd but it works. User 781 Posted June 30, 2018 Share Posted June 30, 2018 So... I was playing through Far Harbour when suddenly my game gives me a message a bit like, "No space to save, please delete save files." If I were smart, I'd manually go in and delete a few. But I'm not. There are probably dozens of old save files, going way, waaayyyy back into my play through and it gets laggy sorting through them. I went into my console and did a sweep delete of my save files thinking I'd just open the game back up and make a new save state once they're wiped and carry on. Nope. The game reset. Main playthrough totally wiped. 144 hours gone. Level 56, unspeakable time spent piddling and building up my settlements. Poof. Weirdly, I'm not even that mad... I was frustrated with that save state for a few reasons: I didn't ever pick up the Ballistic Weave, and for some reason, you can only obtain the schematics for this through the Railroad. I killed P.A.M. Speaking of the Railroad- my main questline was totally FUBAR because Gloria was killed in a BoS quest, and Deacon was unkillable. So the quest "End of the Line" was literally incompletable and I could no longer progress the story. All those saves I had were lagging my game. I know this because as soon as I started up a new one, everything- and I mean everything- was running a lot smoother. So... anyway I made a new game and I'm alright with it. I know the questlines inside and out at this point, so I know where the pitfalls are and can avoid them for the most part. And, I'll be certain to pick up the Ballistic Weave this time. I know which perks work for me, which don't, and what to level up first. I'm actually very surprised about how not mad I am about this situation. Persona 5 (PS4) Went back to castle which Morgana lead the way and showed us where the save points were... Tomorrow (July 3rd) my preorder of Jurassic World Evolution comes out! *screams* So excited!
