Finished the special episode of Reincarnated as a Slime on CR. Plenty of laughs and fanservice (though not all the good kind :lol:). Very enjoyable. Kinda curious why it was listed as episode 2 though.

I think it’s Funimation only right now, but last season CR got access to most of their series after 3 or 4 weeks. There’s no guarantee but hope for the best.

Just finished the first episode of Cop Craft. Biggest thing I noticed was how hard it’s trying to replicate the feel of American police action/dramas with all the violence and profanity. Also accentuating the culture clash aspect with the female lead’s naivety and very rigid sense of justice. So far the fantasy aspect seems pretty forced, but hopefully they’ll correct that with some much needed world building later on. If they can manage that and some decent character growth, this could be pretty enjoyable. At least it’s got my interest for now.

@Seshi Yeah, forget everything I said about Arifureta. I just watched the first ep on my lunchbreak. Nothing even remotely likable about the MC and it was almost entirely just him rambling to himself. The parts about being looked down on and being mistreated sounded kinda like Naofumi, but can already tell they’re nothing alike. Poor writing and ugly CGI as well. Hopefully Cheat Magician will be more promising.

@The History Kid not sure if you’ve already seen them but CR put up the 2 Konosuba OVAs over the weekend

Some suggestions off the top of my head: Cowboy Bebop; Megalobox; Hakata Tonkatsu Ramens. Maybe Monster (the MCs life has a lot of promise at the beginning, but that ends very quickly). I’ll also mention Welcome to the NHK, though in that case a lot of the hardship is his doing, and it’s more of a dark comedy.

Astra Lost in Space - afraid I found the characters’ personalities annoying pretty much without exception. Just a first impression though, so will probably give it some time.

I’m usually in no hurry so I go with the standard free shipping. And I alternate between Prime & Netflix since they only pick up a few titles at a time. Dororo is over now, so time to switch and watch season 2 of Kakegurui & Aggretsuko. For now I keep Crunchyroll & Funimation year round.

Since it’s on Amazon I’ll wait till it’s over and binge it.

Astra Lost in Space (adventure/scifi) BTW, the reason I labeled Are you Lost? As CGDCT? is because there aren’t many Cute Girls Doing Disgusting Things series -_-; What does everyone else think of the season so far?

So comedy series with a male lead? Try Gintama & Great Teacher Onizuka. Also, I seem to remember Air Gear having some similarities to Kenichi.

Maburaho had a guy who could only use magic a very limited number of times before it killed him. Pretty sure Magic Users Club had a teddy bear mascot the female lead talked to. Both focused on students who could use magic. Neither sound like an exact match, but all I can think of at the moment

Went on a roadtrip to visit family out of state and some tourist attractions last weekend to beat the 4th of July traffic. This weekend will probably go to see Spiderman: Far From Home & finish off the spring season anime & start on the summer season. Gonna try to stay out of the heat as much as possible though there are some home projects I need to take care of before winter.

Closest I can think of to the two you mentioned are Flowers of Evil & Scum’s Wish. If youre open to something more comedic/lighthearted maybe We Never Learn or Quintessential Quintuplets. My personal faves when it comes to RomComs are Recovery of an MMO Junkie & ReLIFE, though I’m not sure either is really what you’re looking for.
