It maybe a new year & a new decade, but pretty much just another day in the life for me
Off work so doing some household chores & watching anime. Appropriately finished the 2nd couer of Carol & Tuesday and watching the edit/rebroadcast of RE:Zero

After the holiday it’s back to work for 1 day before the weekend. Gonna be hard to be motivated though.

Just got in my car to go home & found my windshield coated in a layer of ice. Must’ve had some freezing rain or sleet while i was working.Thankfully my commute is a short one.

meh i still wear black dress bikers boots , shin height (and the only other footwear i have is my steal cap work boots)
ive actually meet a forum member and was wearing the boots at the time
and a full length doe skin (color) stockmans riding coat (was my neat one as well for outings not work) similar to this but in a doeskin color
so yer i could see my self wearing a set of sunglasses like that

Currently under an ice storm warning. Started raining around 10 last night and hasn't stopped, currently around freezing. Reports of tree branches & power lines down throughout the area. I have yet to set foot outside my door & won't until there's at least some daylight.

They were sharing a lot of content a couple years back, but then went back to being competitors with Crunchyroll Originals & Funimation Exclusives. Funi eventually came to terms to buy out CR, but the government stepped over possible monopoly concerns. But apparently it’s been greenlit. So now we wait to see what happens to the 2 platforms & how it will affect legal licensing of anime titles.
On a related note, Netflix seems to be putting more emphasis on anime, their latest announcement being they will make the latest JJBA series available worldwide before it even broadcasts on Japanese television

Didn’t actually snow (though I did see some sleet). It rained for about 24 hours straight just prior. And when it was actually time it was 40 degrees with 30 -50 mph windgusts. It wasn’t as cold last year but was raining. Would think when they know what’s coming a couple days in advance they would schedule a different day.

Just finished watching episode 5 of Deca-Dence. Times like this it really sucks to have to wait a week for the next episode. And we’re not even halfway through the season/series.
