Yes, just a number. And, I think you will find you are around good company if you think 25 is old hahahaha (it's a good spaced out group of ages and lots of different life experience instead of a younger gen here...from what I've found thus far)

Lol I'm enjoying this banter. Welcome to AF! It IS pretty active for unfortunate reasons (I think) but, a good time to rummage through feeds and make some new friends. I know how it feels to have friends who don't have similar interests with everything you enjoy...but at least there are platforms such as these People here are pretty friendly so don't worry about being shy ^^v And pleaseee liking anime makes me not a normy? Is anyone even normal? Now you have to define normal hahaha Be safe

I just finished The Platform on Netflix. Although it originally is in Spanish I watched a bit of it subbed but needed to multitask and didn't mind the dubbed version. The movie is fairly graphic if you aren't into blood (there are some pretty dark scenes). But, the plot is definitely something to get you thinking about life, and choices. I don't want to spoil the movie for anyone. But I'd definitely check it out if you want to see a fictional world where people are forced to choose between helping others or helping themselves. That being said I think you could interpret the story in so many ways Any who, here is the trailer.

Have run out of time, so no coloring. I plan to fix this up for my own personal gallery. But, for now I at least can enter something XD Like I said, glad these events take place because it allows us to be creative and gives us all a challenge. Thank you for adding it @Seshi

Just found out one of my staff's mom was tested positive for covid. Have to close the store, get a professional cleaning service and self isolate for 10 days.
She was like, I'm not sure what to do to help you guys. Which was incredibly sweet of her. Told her to go home rest and to give our best to her mom. I would feel more for her mom then the business if she never recovered.

Pft. I just did progress checks on everyone and checked in on their thoughts with covid two days ago. Had to do it with a coworker because they all say I'm to nice when grading and giving feedback. I have a lot of high schoolers who work for me. I want them to leave this job feeling confident and have a strong sense of self worth. So, yes...they do mean a lot to me
But yes, I agree. Its not worth it getting upset at someone for something like this. I could get sick just grabbing groceries by making a mistake. And the staff let us know asap so its good.

Ahhh the geo nerd in me is internally screaming. THIS IS AWESOME. AND IT'S IN YOUR BACK YARD? Lucky!! There is a city nearby that has a dinosaur museum with hiking trails around it (it's kind of a dangerous area as there are cougars, scorpions and snakes). I used to go there a lot with a few friends to hike. They have a lot of shells and plant imprints as well. My favorite oddly enough is when you find the imprints of things like water droplets or rippling from water. I haven't lucked out in seeing dino bones but they still have research there. What an awesome find though. I agree with illusion, you could totally get that dated. Generally that cross section of land might already be dated. -

My favorite thing about Wednesday, is working alone all day just cooking, baking and prepping for the next day.
Still, I can't wait until the fall when I can change jobs again or go back to school. Decisions decisions

That's amazing! You have more respect from me now bwahah (JK)...I struggled with doing a degree in art history out of fear of never finding a job after. It's amazing that it helped you find something that seemingly wouldn't correlate, at least to me - beyond "history degree". I'm agnostic, and so learning about all religions is a passion of mine Again, I like to know why people think/like/react the way they do, it would be uncouth of me if I at least didn't understand such a big aspect of a person's world view.

I think that's why shows like The Mist, Bird Box and Cloverfield freak me out so much. Its an alternate reality encroaching on ours or aliens...they're creepy too. I think IF and I mean highly skeptical on the if, some fantastical world did start to encroach on our reality that we on our side would not magically be given any special power. That it would solely be one sided unless birthed into by two people (thinking genetics), but magic. I'd be very skeptical on. Reminds me of the movie Bright haha And so yes, like @RZ. already wrote. I too would probably die quite fast...but hopefully not so agonizing lol -

Lol, don't go out of your way! It would be cool to see. Actually, I really like art history. I've also taken a lot of courses that tie into religious studies and art...religion in general and have taken some American history while in university. But, I won't lie that wasn't my favorite class I get more into it when you dive into the why and the societal development at the time more so then just timelines? So one or two classes in a basic subject wasn't enough and the idea of being a historian is overwhelming to me. XD if that makes sense. (You must know a lot of a given subject). I didn't realize we have a history club (lol knowing me I probably joined and forgot about it.) you would hope your passions had some greater universal goal, but I think it should ultimately be more selfish as a start to become a passion and the rest just follows.
