I would yes to that question. Persona 5 the animation is pretty good, but naturally it's going to skip out on some of the story beats and all the relationship building that makes Persona 5 such a great game. The animation so far seems like it's more for fans who played the game than it is for people who are experiencing Persona 5 for the first time.

Might as well go ahead and update this thread with E3 related news while I'm at. We actually got three stories for E3 in the last 24 hours. I'm going to be brutally honest, I do not like that so many different sub-forums have been grouped into one club like this, and in fact I find it extremely frustrating. I don't like seeing that tab looming over every page I click, I don't like updates aren't going to be put in their own threads so that they are easy to access, and I outright hate that any feedback we want to give now feels like it has to be done in a club. I also hate that this was done with what feels like no consultation with anyone here publicly, and that's being treated like a lounge when it feels like a requirement. Clubs are supposed to be something people join of their own volition, not because they want to say hi to people in a forum they just joined or because they have an issue with something that happened on the forum like a bug or error that's obviously not supposed to be there. This is a bad idea in my opinion, and I feel like it should be removed immediately and I request that from now on when you have an idea like this Optic that you do what you used to and ask everyone here what they think about an idea you have before forcing it on them.

Here's my next list of things I'd like to see from E3 this year. This time I got into my hopes for Microsoft:

So with the announcement of Nintendo's conference for E3 made yesterday, I thought now was a good time to start talking about E3. The currently confirmed conference times are as follows with PST times listed: EA: 11 AM to 2 PM Saturday, June 9th Microsoft: 1 PM Sunday, June 10th Bethesda: 6:30 PM Sunday, June 10th Ubisoft: 1 PM Monday, June 11th Nintendo: 9 AM Tuesday, June 12th I also have started to make lists for games and things I'd like to see at E3. It really depends. This whole year I've probably watched more anime than I did last year due to a lack of interesting games to play in my spare time. For right now I suppose I average up to 2 hours a day.

Right now I'm watching Tokyo Ghoul season 3, Steins Gate 0 and Persona 5 the animation.

Fist of the North Star Dragon Ball Claymore Pretty much any other Shounen I can recommend is already here. If you ever want to try out other genre's I'll have a lot more to suggest.

I already posted in the other thread but basically, I'm getting through it despite not liking the random change in direction and I didn't say this before, but the animation style has kind of taken away everyone's individual look outside of the Quinx squad and that's annoying. Hopefully episode 4 is good enough to keep the season interesting, otherwise I may drop it.

There is no confirmed release date for it as of yet. If it really is coming this year though, I wouldn't expect it to release before late summer or in the fall season since that GGO spin-off series is set for this Spring season. Perhaps by the end of that, there will be a release season or maybe even month and date but so far, nothing is confirmed.

I watched the first two episodes and I'm kind of unsatisfied. I know it's important for Rintaro to come to terms with certain things, but with World War III still looming over everyone's heads, it seems a waste to spend so much time with what should be a the B-plot and yes ever since AI was brought into it, that's been the focus. It's not a horrible idea, it's just a bigger deal than I feel it should be. Hopefully soon they'll balance the two plots out and make them work.

I wish they would bring more anime to their site while it's airing if they can work out that kind of deal. I also don't like that they are calling some anime a Netflix Original when it's not like Kakegurui or however it's spelled. That's a bad anime to try and pawn off as an original. As for their original's I have to admit to never finishing one of them because they are so samey and yet far to similar to things I watched even before Netflix was around. They have the potential to do something great, they just haven't yet.

Admittedly after watching through to episode 3 I feel like a lot of stereotypes the series managed to avoid have become a part of it. However the end of episode 3 where it focuses in on Aogiri and all of these other characters has me a bit excited that perhaps we'll get something more along the lines of season one's quality instead of the slower pace we've seen so far. There is still room to drop the ball, but here's hoping they don't and we get a Kaneki back. Seeing things mainly from the human's side is kind of boring.

Teen Titans is amazing. These costumes are not, and I don't get Starfire's casting. I can't help feel like her personality is going be different than the actual character if only because black actors have to act a certain way in Hollywood films and shows.

As long as it's not shounen, I'm open to pretty much anything as long as it can stand out among all the other anime in it's genre. @Beocat I haven't seen the last one of those. I will gladly so ahead and check it out.

I'm growing tired of Shounen. I don't want to see another anime like DBZ, Naruto, My Hero Academia, SAO, or anything like that. I want something unique, something that tries to catch your eye with more than just visuals, something that is just different. I haven't watched an anime in full since AoT season 2, and I'm tried of dropping anime ultimately because things are so samey. I'm asking for a tall order here, and I know that, but I really, really want something to watch that's interesting, good, and doesn't try to rely too heavily on cliche's. I need something new and different, because I don't want the occasional rare anime that everyone is into to be the only thing I watch, especially since I so rarely enjoy those few great anime as much as most people do.

I have mixed feelings about this Wrestlemania, because I haven't heard anyone say it, but I've been thinking it for a while, but this year is more stacked than any show previous. It's like Vince looked at all the wrestlers and said "you get a triple threat, and you get a fatal four way, and you get a battle royal, and YOU get a battle royal and..." I mean there are four confirmed singles matches regarding the Women's titles and WWE title and Universal title, and it still feels like too much is going on. Also, the lack of a theme for the show of shows this year kind of makes me feel like Vince doesn't have the greatest amount of faith in it.

Well if you're going console, PS4 Pro is probably the better choice just because there are more MMO's on there than on Switch and Xbox One, but otherwise yeah, if you can afford it, PC is the better option.

If I'm being honest, there's not really any one game for mobile in the Online RPG for genre that's better than the other. The only things that change from game to game are how egregious the microtransactions are and how flashy everything is to try and make you feel like it's more fun that it really is. At the end of the day, you're just tapping your phone, and that just gets and stays boring after a while.

I personally cannot stand One Piece. It's more than clear that it's doing everything Bleach did that got it cancelled, but it's getting away with it. It takes about 100 episodes just to get all it's characters introduced, back stories done, and finally try to move to forward, only to take steps backward with stupid amounts of filler episodes. Also, I can't help but feel like the more recent episodes and the manga as well, are just trying to see how crazy they can get before people finally say enough is enough. I feel like any passion for the show has long since been left behind, because 21 years of working on it's manga, and 19 years of working on the show has drained people who have been a part of it for too long. A lot of people don't see what I see, but a lot of people also take a look at everything through biased eyes, where as I try to look at the show subjectively, and with that in mind, I cannot recommend it to anyone.
