  1. You should without a doubt get one. PS4 has in my honest opinion, the best exclusives and the most really great exclusives of any system or PC. Of course that depends on what kind of games you like, but if you're tastes are similar to mine, you'll probably want it just for those.
  2. At this point, I just want September to happen, either that or E3. Just something interesting to talk about long term would be nice. Either way, the month of September is stacked and yet there will be so much more by the end E3 because the four games set to release in it so far are the only games set for that month. I can't wait to see what else might be coming,
  3. There are four major titles already confirmed for September, and E3 is still about two months away. There really should be something for everyone barring that there are no delays on any of the games. So far we have Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age, which is going out for PS4 and PC on September 4th and the Western release will be the only version with voice acting in it. Three days later PS4 gets an exclusive in Spider-Man on the 7th. We then take a week off for the multiplatform title Shadow of the Tomb Raider which is coming to Xbox, PC and PS4 only for a week later the Spyro: Reignited Trilogy to release on PS4, Xbox One, and if things go as expected, the Nintendo Switch and possibly PC as well. I gotta say, November has to pull out all the stops to compete with a month like that. It better hope that's when KHIII is releasing, or else there's going to be little that can touch that month.
  4. Not to be rude but with so few posts I doubt a lot of people will consider following you. You have to be a bit more active before people will start following you.
  5. To this day, I can't say that I have a favorite game that is always going to be my favorite, because I've played a lot of games and going back to them or playing new games can change my opinion on older ones, but if I have to pick, I'd say the dot hack GU games.
  6. I'm kind of in the middle. On the one hand, I really like video games, movies and all that, but on the other hand, I really like to know more about those things than the average person. I guess, that makes me a, Neek, or a Gerd, or whatever you want to call it.
  7. I've played the games several times, and yea, due to not amazing sales, the games are rare and expensive, but if they ever drop in price or get remade like the GU series did, I'd give them a go. They had a story that's arguably better than the anime.
  8. It's funny because there's all these obvious parallel's and yet in between them is a great show like dot hack, and SAO even at it's best can't compare. I mean how do you take that much inspiration from one show into another, and miss every mark that made the original interesting?
  9. If and when that happens, I'll let you know, but I'm already 30 and I'm not feeling it yet.
  10. https://www.proprofs.com/quiz-school/story.php?title=what-kind-anime-boy-are-you I actually got emo but that seems to stem from the fact that I like metal and glare at people who try to threaten me. That seems kind of weird IMO. Take it and say what you got.
  11. RPG's will always and forever be my favorite genre of game, by miles above the rest. The stories, the characters, the atmosphere and in a lot of ways, the combat of RPG's are very unique to it's genre and sub-genre's and anything similar to those at least to me, has always felt like an imitation. Not a bad one, in many cases mind, but RPG's are a quality all their own that few can match.
  12. The current gaming climate wouldn't support an old God of War game. Remakes and remasters are one thing, but people aren't as into the over the top action God of War as a series provided back in the day. That said, I'm glad this change is happening. I never really played the original games, but I watched them get played and I have to say, this new direction that's being taken is perfect for the current gaming atmosphere. I actually went and pre-ordered this game because I faith that it will be one of the better games of the year, and the more I see it about, the more I believe that. This God of War, is probably going to be the best, and as long as the VGA's don't have a hard-on for Nintendo again this year, it will probably win some pretty important rewards. I trust the game will be spectacular in every way a game like this can be.
  13. I like old anime for a number of reasons, one of which was stated already, that's there's always new classics to find. Beyond that though I like to watch old shows and movies because for a year or two, those were the only ones I had access to, so seeing what I saw back then and seeing what I missed is always fun. I also like to watch them to see what bits of them have translated to modern shows because the things we still see aren't always obvious and it's fun to find things like that. I also just enjoy the atmosphere of older shows and in a lot of ways, despite people not really knowing how to act as well as they do today with anime characters, a lot of the time those characters feel more human. Older anime can be amazing and in a lot of ways humanizing, plus there's something to be said about seeing characters with heroic aspects to them that don't end up acting or looking like Goku in some way or another. There's been too many Goku's out there since DBZ got popular.
  14. HyperX is the best brand out there right now. I bought a pair for 50 bucks that's better than the last pair of Turtle Beach headphones I bought at twice that price. Far as I'm concerned, the top three brands from worst to best are Razer, Turtle Beach and HyperX, but the different from the other two is so large, that HyperX is really the only one you should be worrying about, plus getting a universal headset of better quality is cheaper with HyperX so there's not really any reason to mess with the other ones.
  15. Yeesus, my favorite game? You actually want me to pick? That's harder said then done. My Default answer would normally be something like Chrono Trigger, but having just played it again I know that's not really true. I keep thinking about games like Spyro, Jak and Daxter, and other such things, but really those are just old favorites and some of them haven't aged well. I guess really, when it comes down to it, my favorite game of all time is Persona 4. Just a few months ago, I was watching someone play it on their stream on Twitch, and it instantly got me playing it for the 4th time at that point, trying to beat them just because I could. I lost, but it was fun enough to play it again that I didn't really mind much. I've spent well over 200 hours playing that game, which while that's not the most I ever spent on playing a game, it's up there, and honestly, just talking about it almost gets me in the mood to play it again.
  16. I finally started playing Fortnite. I'm also playing Chrono Trigger again for the umpteenth time. That game is always fun.
  17. Going off of seasons 8/10 and then 2/10. Whisper of the Heart.
  18. I can't hardly remember a time when I wasn't watching anime, so it's been at least 25 years at the point.
  19. I do that as well. Sometimes I'll watch an anime that looks interesting, or that I even dropped and realize that it's one I've seen already. It's kind of a problem actually.
  20. I lost count somewhere around 450 sometime in 2012 so I guess over 500 at this point. I watched 200 of those in 2010 because I became obsessed with short 12 to 13 episode shows and watched several of them a day for a few months.

    Games!!

I second this. It would be nice to know what you play on so we can give you a better idea of what's available for what you own.
  22. Your results shift for a simple reason, there's no science involved: In fact anyone who has taken the test more than once tends to have a different result depending on their mood at the time, and usually, only people who are in the same mood each time they take it get the same results.
  23. The movie has the same problems as Brotherhood does at it's start, except it's twice as bad. They speed through everything so quickly that it's hard to grasp onto anything. Putting the entire story into one film was the stupidest idea that could have ever been conceived. It should have been a tetralogy, 4 films, each covering in detail, a quarter of the events. It would have probably been at least 8 hours of film to make, so perhaps that was seen as too risky, but this is FMA we're talking about. You need to respect the material in it, and the film failed to do that on every level. Also, I can't get over how bad the CGI for Al and Nina were, that just hurt an already poor film to the point where it was beyond repair.
